Extremely friendly staff would visit again 🙂 Edited to add (was all one visit) absolutely marvelous staff, all very helpful and accomodating, which is such a rare find. I only wanted one pint to sit outside, but the staff there are all so nice I think it's my new favourite pub. Thank you so much to Tyler, Jack, Carl and Chloe for being, quite frankly, the nicest people I've had conversations with recently. (I've not been in for about a decade, so nice to know it's currently an extremely welcoming pub. But I'm sure there's more staff I've not met yet who are probably also lovely) Can't wait to nip in again, thank you so much to you all 😊

Bar staff are so nice, and there's everything you want from a Green King.......BUT on this visit there was no chef, so no food, and no draught beers/lagers!! We had really nice food here the last time we visited so decided to call in again when we were in Preston for the weekend. Was so disappointed this time.

Small and friendly pub. Meals very good hunters chicken and all day brunch followed by triple chocolate brownie and ice cream with sauce. Quite a lively place but seemed to go like clockwork. Good for a quick meal if you're passing through. Dont let the small lobby like bit as you walk in its on a busy road with a narrowish pavement so does get dusty. I'm glad I didn't judge on that.

Really nice pub; staying locally for business and popped in for a meal, a pint and to watch the football. Great food cooked to perfection and a nice cold pint.. now if only "them" get beat it'll be fantastic night

Great local pub with a good atmosphere. Drink prices are reasonable and offers food. Is a standard Greene King pub. They have plenty of TVs for sports and a pool table. Have made plenty of return trips for a pint.

Breakfast with santa 🎅 was a fantastic experience for my 3 children the team were excellent in there service and playing there Christmas part. Many thanks to all the staff that made it a very organised and joyfull occasion fir my 3 children. A JOB WELL DONE 👏

Never thought about eating here, until we were passing yesterday and decided to stop off. The food was really nice, nothing special, but good pub grub! The car park isn’t very well lit, could definitely do with some extra lighting especially as the nights draw in! The decor is cosy but could do with a touch up in places, I expect this is at the discretion of head office though, it looked and felt clean and I suppose that is the main thing! The staff were very friendly and professional, Conrad couldn’t have come across more genuinely welcoming if he tried! We will definitely be returning and might even give the quiz a try on Thursdays!

Missed out on one of the stars as there was screaming kids everywhere but apart from that, food was brilliant ! I have never eaten here before so had no idea if it was good or bad. All 6 meals arrived together, piping hot and were delicious. The chicken and mushroom pie was exceptional. All in all , I will definitely be back .

Hi Had a lovely waitress who made us feel very safe & was attentive. Unfortunately the male member of staff who invaded personal space constantly whilst wearing his face mask around his neck really worried me. Won’t be recommending this place due to his total lack of safe COVID behaviour. There’s a reason why we were on a strict lockdown.

Beer and food were good. Unfortunately some of the locals seem to shout to their mates who believe it or not are sat right next to them! The bar wasn’t busy but it sounded like it was...consequently we left straight after the food whereas we would have stayed for another drink or two.

Christmas day lunch what a loverly surprise, wonderful meal , the men had steak , we had tradional turkey and trimmings so stuffed but allowed time if wanted between courses not rushed at all , waiting on staff were pleasant helpful and attentive to everyone's needs definatly booking again for next year . Well done all the staff at lane ends for making dinner more pleasurable .
