S. H.Nice place! Definitely didn’t have one of these when I grew up in the area so Hesketh Bank is moving up in the world. Certainly a far cry from The Beconsall if you remember that? Me and my mate used to take hip flasks in there and the carpet stank of wee. What a dump. Anyway Limebar is much better, go there! Good beers, great to see Neck Oil and Camden Pale Ale. Good toilets too.
J. C.Only been in the area 6/7 weeks and found this bar this afternoon - lovely place for a beer. Staff were really friendly and there was live music on. Drinks prices were not too high (more expensive than wetherspoons) which meant we went for 1 and stayed for a few more. Apparently only recently opened up. If that's the case, I wish them well and I'll be back again.
m. s.Pints were very good. Always nice to see Estrella as an option. One of the people working in there was a tad grumpy though, hence the 4 stars.
