Reviews of Plau Gin & Beer House
E. H.
Lovely building on every single floor and room, the decor is honestly something to admire just like the staff and food.
Although it can be quite busy and sometimes booked out the staff do their best to keep ontop of everything, any mistakes are rectified as soon as possible and if you order a lot of dishes it's a constant flux of food being brought to your table, each dish is well made and full of varied flavours.
Honestly it's a great spot to dine and enjoy company with a partner or friends, good drinks are also available with quite a nice variety, though not many ciders there is a lot of cocktails and other drinks to enjoy.
I'd definitely return.

Beautiful, historic setting for a beautiful meal.
Highly recommend the hanger steak starter. I had the hake main and it was gorgeous.
The gentleman serving us was the perfect waiter, attentive yet demure.

(Rating as a restaurant)
Having the opportunity for a couple of hours in Preston this Friday evening, we were looking for a restaurant serving vegetarian and vegan food. Google maps suggested Plau. Being described as a Gin & Beer House, we may well have skipped past the listing, but I happened to have come across the name the other day while looking at the website of Fieldwork, who seem to have done the branding and design for this establishment - and had seen photos of interesting-looking food.
Externally, the venue really doesn't look at all food related but there are several storeys for dining and it's quite spacious.
We were walk-ins at 6.30pm on a Friday. Luckily we were accommodated but I would probably recommend booking ahead.
It's not a cheap establishment: drinks prices are relatively high for the area (paying, perhaps, for the aforementioned branding and design). Clientele were varied, but certainly the hipster type was strongly represented; I didn't feel I had quite the right type of beard.
The decor is smart, dark wood, dark grey, muted gin-palace.
BUT...the FOOD!
The menu (apparently a new menu) contained not too many dishes, mains priced around £15 to £25, small (starter) dishes I think £7 to £9. (The precise menu isn't online yet, so I can't verify prices and dishes.) We chose one small dish and two mains.
Quite a wait for food - not a bad sign. Service was attentive and friendly. Quality was top notch - probably the best food we have had in Preston.
The starter - okra cooked with peanut and served with some beautiful mango chutney and garlic - was absolutely heavenly but we definitely should have gone for a starter each. Small does mean small.
Our mains were two more vegan dishes.
The first (koftas containing quinoa and sweet potato, served on a bed of salad containing mango, pomegranate, leaves and a light horseradish dressing) - savoury but light, satisfying.
The second salt baked beetroot served on pearl barley with parsnip mash and a light slightly smokey chilli sauce - amazing: earthy but with a tang, not too salty, maybe a hint of vinegar and cinnamon were evident.
Presentation good.
We didn't have time for desserts this time but will leave a new review after the next visit.

This bar is my favourite in Preston, it's such an amazing building with interesting history. The beer choice is great with plenty of choice on the pumps. I haven't tried the food here but that does look amazing. I'll be returning.
M. G.
Sunday roast was superb. Seasoning of the beef and the roasties were exceptional. Beer selection didn't seem great, but the rosé wine was one of the best we've had. Definitely sit up on the roof
U. S.
Ambience good, staff good however food okayish and pricey.
Additionally, beer was expensive compared to others. And the bill comes with gratuity added... The staff tells us about it and also says to remove it if you want to... But it's kinda awkward to have to remove it. I think it would be best if we could voluntary add gratuity if we please not being pushed for it.
Expensive experience lol.
M. I.
Loved it. Great atmosphere. Great beer and a hidden gem. From the well in the ex gin cellar through the vast array of well kept real ales up to the roof terrace it's an experience.
Well done to whomever sarted this venture and saw it through. Can't have been easy but looks like it's paying off
O. V.
Friendly customer service, staff even helped me when I needed a sanitary towel which was very kind, very nice cocktails, the duck was a little overcooked but the food was tasty, but took a while to arrive and when we asked the servers why the food was taking so long all we were told was that the chef is doing other food 🤷♀️ I mean that is obvious we are aware of that, but that should not mean you leave customets waiting in excess of 45 minutes for food. Downstairs, with the well that we were looking forward to see a lot was a closed event and we were unable to see
K. C.
Went to the plau for the second time and once again the food and drinks were outstanding! Lovely atmosphere, high quality dishes and excellent cocktails in a place full of history and character. Highly recommended.
P. D.
Loved the ambience, the food and the service! Will definitely be returning soon 😌

Plau is a lovely brunch place to go to. It has a nice rustic but cosy atmosphere and the staff are lovely. The food is delicious and the setting and presentation is very well done and do a high standard. The price reflects the service and experience so I would say the price is about right for the food. I recommend this place for a nice brunch with friends.
D. P.
I loved it here just been with fella, I have never been and been showed twice to well which was very interesting 🤔, very nice place, I will be back soon
M. A.
What a great place. Smart retro styling and lighting mixed with contemporary fittings and the booths are great. The ales are better and the staff are tops. The bar manager really knows his stuff and very helpful and thanks for the trip to the cellar bar even though it wasn't open. The well is awesome. This establishment will suit everyone old or young couples or singles. I will be back asap.
S. T.
Beautiful building, menu a little bit hit and miss but beautiful surroundings
S. L.
It's the best bar in Preston. Fusion food is served as small plates (tapas) and really are delicious. Cocktails a bit special too....different rooms inside to explore make it a great night out time and time again.
C. N.
Really nice place, oldy worldy with three bars on different floors. An amazing feature of an ancient well which has a glass top you can walk on and look down about thirty feet to the natural spring at the bottom.
A more upper class pub much needed in Preston. Great variety of drinks and food. I would definitely recommend this place.
A. T.
Absolute TARDIS of a bar. Looks tiny on the outside but seems to wind in every direction on the inside. Vault downstairs is especially cool with the well and it feels like you're in Diagon Alley or something. My only gripe is that for how great the food is you don't get a lot in the portions because it's marketed as small plates dining but it's not priced like it.
B. W.
If your after a good craft beer in Preston this is a great place to visit. Friendly staff relaxed atmosphere. While visiting ask about the well downstairs it's worth a look. I think they do food also but I was there on the hunt for some good beers and I wasn't dissapointed😁
D. F.
Wonderful place, fabulous selection of beers. Bar man was exceptional with service, knowledgeable about what's on & the brews themselves, and superb as FOH. Could've stayed all day!
J. G.
Nice bar friendly staff good range of ales lagers and cocktails
J. S.
Its always a good visit to the Plau. The beers they get, which differs each week, are morish! Not sure what you want? Ask for a taster. There is something for everyone, although some choices I found quite expensive at £5+.
The food looks good although I haven't tried it. And there is always a good atmosphere. And there are surprises around the building, I'll let you find them for yourselves.
Chin chin x
N. W.
Great food in their new rooftop terrace. Well looked after. Will definitely be back.
W. S.
Great place. Really interesting cellar. Worth going in just for a drink or maybe some food. All the rooms are beautifully and tastefully decorated. There is amazing brick walls throughout. Interesting building
S. G. (.
Amazing food and great service!
Had the Plau breakfast and I don't think I've ever had maple cured bacon where you can actually taste the maple!! 10/10 would recommend!!
H. C.
Great place to meet up with friends and have drinks. Go all the way down to the bottom and check out the well.
K. S.
Food selection was nice. Laid back friendly service. You need to bring time along. Kitchen when busy takes a long time. Vegan options are available but can be a hit or miss one. German beer selection including alcohol free ones is nice. Would definitely recommend.
J. C.
Lively place, the food was nice but not as Wow as the menu would suggest.
m. g. g.
Very interesting, our group were shown round the floors and educated on its history by a young helpful member of staff. Great choice of beers.
B. B. (.
Went last night with friends what a fantastic place. The very friendly barman showed us round the building. The history in the place is very interesting and to see the well was amazing. The food and service is brilliant.Loved the whole experience and can't wait to return.
a.
The Plau is an amazing hidden gem in Preston. The service is always ~immaculate~, very warm and friendly staff that give excellent service every time. Highly recommend!
S. B.
Amazing building, great food and great cocktails. The staff are friendly and attentive. We attended a reading one night which was something different but we really enjoyed it. It’s definitely our go to place during the week.
r. f.
Couldn't fault this place. Great food and drinks. Nice feature with the well in the lower bar..
c. j.
This is a gem of a place, great range of beers and ales. Cracking atmosphere and great service , with character of the downstairs basement and historic well, recommend a visit
J. W.
Beautiful place, and friendly staff, however I ordered the hot chocolate which was put on the table with my guests drink, without the cream and marshmallows but the waiter retreated too quickly to ask for them. I decided it didn't matter, as it's only extra calories. We ordered toasted sandwiches I ordered the XO pulled pork and my guest ordered the brisket and we ordered the gujarati fries too. Bearing in mind it was 12.00 noon we were surprised when the waiter appeared a few minutes later to advise us that they had run out of brisket which is disturbing at the start of service however they switched to the pulled pork too. When the food arrived it looked nice enough but the pulled pork has to be the blandest thing I have ever eaten. It had no taste what so ever, so disappointing. Also the fries which were supposed to be sprinkled with sesame seeds and crushed cashew nuts was devoid of either. My guest mentioned this to the waiter who was oblivious to the fact. It was supposed to be a really good meal but we were pretty deflated by the whole experience.
A. M.
I would recommend this place for tasty food, good prices, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.
S. R.
A must visit place if like real ale. Great food. Welcoming friendly staff. Very unusual layout which adds to the character of the place. Highly recommended.
D. W.
Always have a good selection of craft beer on offer
J. D.
Atmospheric, good beer, had an issue, sorted immediately highly recommend
K. B.
Good service very good food lovely air conditioning.
J. W.
I bought a few beers from the online shop during lockdown and knew I needed to give it a try when it opened back up. Last night was the first time we have been able to visit and we will definitely be returning. The food and drink were second to none, the service and setting was great. I never leave reviews but I was that impressed I felt I had to leave one. Absolutely top drawer and a credit to Preston! Keep up the great work!!
J. C.
Food and service were both fantastic. Will definitely be returning
R. P.
Amazing decor, done to a really high standard
The food is incredible
A little dark in the back
Not many single malts behind the bar
If you love gin you will love this place
V. A.
Plau is such a smart and fun place to be. Love the underground bit, bricked walls with cool music and a well you can stand over. Cool vibes, however they stop serving beer at the underground part around 10pm.
C. H.
Always good food and service. Best vegan food in Preston! And unbeatable decor & atmosphere.
R. B.
Really lovely food. Very well done using simple basic ingredients. . Very good quality. Small tapa portions though so need 3 to 4 each. 2 for small appetite.
V. C.
Brilliant service, food and cocktails, they made the perfect whiskey sour and even gave us 15% off because my friend had just graduated from uni. Definately will return a hidden gem
Q. J.
The food here was so good I should really downgrade anything else I gave five stars, everything was amazing right down to the coffee
A. F.
Been to this wonderful cocktail bar far, far too many times yet it's still not enough. Whether it's having food for a meal, trying the ever changing taps and amazing cocktails. One of my favourite ever places to go and ignore life whilst having a dry martini or two.
P.
The interior looks amazing and the story behind the building and the owners journey getting it to where it's at now is fascinating!
There has clearly been a lot of time and love that has gone into restoring this beautiful building and the 40+ foot well looks amazing for it.
I had brunch this morning and not only was the produce clearly of a very good quality but it was excellently cooked too.
I went for the full breakfast and can hand on heart say that it's one of the best breakfasts I've ever tasted. The baked beans are delicious!
I will definitely be going back for brunch.. and lunch.. and dinner.. and drinks!
I. F.
Just left the Plau having never been there before and went downstairs to see the Well that we had been told about...It's fantastic! spoke to the bar person who was extremely knowledgeable about its findings...what a hidden gem this place is....can't wait to return.....5*...
G. W.
Very, very good place. There be nooks; there be crannies... & it looks like an Edward Hopper speakeasy.
Well done the owners for putting the effort in.
D. B.
I was so thrilled to be going here as they have a vegan menu. The place is lovely, staff were also lovely. I ordered 3 things off the menu, one of them to share with my husband. However; one of my choices never turned up, another (spicy chips) were so salty I couldn’t eat them, the bread and oils I ordered came with toasted bread which was burnt😞. On the plus side my husband says his choices were beautiful, he had, duck, beef and beetroot choices. The other good thing was all the wine was vegan. All that said I would be prepared to go back as the place was lovely and I think they deserve a second chance.
A. H.
Been here several times and once again the staff were friendly and helpful. We got there before the crowds and chose a table in the back. Very nice and cosy. The bar was nice and clean. Completely different pub to all the others on Preston. About time we need some new ones.
P. B. (.
Best food in Preston by far. Great wine as well. Not a cheap eat but worth it. Worthy of a Michelin star.
M. M.
A really interesting venue with plenty of character and the well in the basement bar area is a must see if you visit here. The food was great with it being clear that the chefs pay plenty of attention to the food ensuring it is cooked perfectly and the flavours are just right. There isn't currently a dessert menu but staff assured us this was being developed and would be available within the next couple of weeks. The only real downfall was that the basement bar with the well was uncomfortably warm so we didn't stay in there for more than a few minutes.
J. D.
Enjoyed the food. Excellent kedgeree and omelette. Nicely decorated. The old well downstairs was fascinating. Seems not to be quite clear whether it's a restaurant or a bar. We were there at lunchtime and people in there all seemed to to be friends of the staff.
C. M.
This is a fascinating place and a great addition to the drinking and eating options in the area.
The enthusiasm of the owners and staff have resulted in a gem of a place.
Beautiful architecturally and an excellent beer range (I haven’t tried the food yet but I’m looking forward to doing that soon).
S. D.
A really unique and interesting place made up of lots of different rooms. The well and the cellar room were my favourite. Friendly, welcoming staff and delicious food, with lots of tasty sounding things on the menu.
We all had a lovely afternoon.
S. F.
I love coming here it has such a continental feel, relaxed atmosphere, good food, great drinks, what more could I ask for. I personally like sour beer, it's a bit of an acquired taste but well worth trying. Possibly the best bar in Preston at the moment, come on guys see if someone can better it.
D. B.
Selection if real ales. Nice place
S. M.
This is easily the most fascinating bar in Preston. The history discovered in the two years it took to complete the Gin Palace project included the discovery of an ancient well going down several hundred feet and in which the findings within are displayed on the bar wall to the cellar level.
As a non drinker pubs rarely excite me or en our age my business. I found all the staff in the bar, street level and up a small flight of stairs to be friendly, informed and very much enjoying their job. For your interest they had 2 different bottled non alcoholic beer.
There is a restaurant on the upper level which I didn't visit but I hear very favourable feedback about. This is an exciting venue one in which you forget you're in Preston, and find you're in a very cosmopolitan venue.
B. C.
Wowsers, already knew the drinks were good. But the food was lovely too.
Visited for lunch and had the full breakfast, all of which was delicious. My partner had the Kedgeree which I treated and that was also great. Staff are all very helpful and friendly too.
A. S.
A fantastic bar which serves amazing food! The building as been lovingly renovated to a high standard which sets the backdrop for great food and drink. The vegetarian options are superb and they welcome families too. A great asset to the town!
D. R.
Lovely new pub and eatery just a stone's throw from the city centre. You can see from the way the interior has been crafted why it has taken so long to open. I just hope the people of Preston treat it with respect.
Not eaten there yet but plan to do so soon.
Well done to all involved.
C. G.
Really like this place. Multi level seating areas and all cosy. Informal with friendly staff. Gets very busy early evening at weekends and you need to book if eating. Definitely worth a visit for a few drinks.
R. S.
Wow what a great night with close friends in the Plau Gin House. Fantastic food and a real nice ambiance to the place, along with great staff. Try it out you will enjoy.
J. F. R.
I have visited Plau Gin & Beer House twice and on both visits it was a most enjoyable experience.
It is a nice bar in Preston.
Also it has a most a very interesting feature.
It has a well which you can look down.
It is a well.
43 feet deep.
With running water.
It is closed off with strong glass which you can stand on and look down the well.
P. C.
What a brilliant bar that has worked hard to pay tribute to the history of the building! Plau is set in an old distillery and have taken the pain staking task of showcasing it's original features like the old well in the basement. Brilliant vibe, great beer, delicious food!
P. W.
Fabulous. Spread over 3 floors but small, intimate, friendly and fabulous food.
Highly recommend, defo coming again 👍👍😊
K. G.
Why would anyone give a one star review before this place has even opened? I haven't been yet but I have seen how the restoration has been coming along on Facebook, and it looks fantastic. The five stars I gave is for the way that the owners have been so careful to respect the history of the building, and the fact that this is a local business that deserves all the support Preston can give
D. M.
We went for brunch today. Super food. Excellent service. Friendly staff who made us feel special. The place is incredible. The ambiance amazing all this in the city centre. We will be back.
J. G.
Another one of my go to places in Preston! First, the food here is lovely - such a good selection of tapas at a reasonable price! Second, the atmosphere and décor of the place is really pretty and feels like it belongs more in the Northern Quarter of Manchester than the middle of Preston! The vaulted candle lit cellar is particularly cosy/romantic...
P.
You wouldn't know you were in Preston. Great little bar. Cosy room downstairs, nice little booths upstairs. Great selection of beer. And the food didn't look too bad either.
P. R.
Unique traditional decor inside. Wide variety of excellent drinks including ales, gins and wines. Delicious food.
C. M.
This bar is just amazing. Went in on Saturday for a quick tipple and was amazed by the knowledge the barman had of all the lagers! If you go in make sure you get served by "Bob", he's the man with all the information!!
A. G.
What a gem this place is. A really cosy place, fantastic decor, a great selection of ales , gins and spirits. It caters for all tastes and not to mention the pure drama of the historic well which you can right over and look straight down to the bottom.
S. R.
After decades of eating Sunday dinners, I have to say the wild feasting menu at Plau is without doubt the best I have ever tried.
The meat was plentiful and the vegetable were beautifully cooked.
I would recommend it to anyone.
D. L.
Nice bar and the well in the basement is awesome to look at, but the staff attempting to serve a queue really need some lessons. Very slow at making a basic drink. Has potential but needs some staff education
A. P.
Great historic building with a 40ft well in the vaulted ceiling cellar, great food, we had the tapas type food at lunch, freshly cooked, well presented, others had the full breakfast, omelette and the steak sandwich I think it was, all really nice, need to go back to work through the amazing beer menu.
L. B.
Very lovely venue, super helpful staff, great beer, our brunch ie Kedgree, and smoked salmon was beautifully presented though a little too heavy on the salt and a little too spicy, but saying this still tasty, though couldnt finish it. Would recommend x
M. H.
First time we have been. Had brunch there. My scrambled egg with salmon on sourdough bread was really nice. My wife enjoyed her kedgeree but said it was firey
J. C.
Fantastic atmosphere. Lovely staff and lovely drinks. Tried the food yet? Wonderful! Oh! And there's a lovely little hidden gem in the basement! Still reading this?! Go! Go! Go!
M. W.
Wow, wow, wow. Ordered 6 dishes from the tapas menu.... And then a cheese board. Could not fault any of them. The brie profiteroles, parsnips pakora and gujarati chips were my favourite. That's not to say the pork belly, onger steak and black pudding and beetroot crumble wasn't good! My goodness it was good. The cheese board to finish was a decadence which the fabulous music insisted on. I'm only sorry I am full, otherwise I would continue to order. Staff have been lovely. I will definitely come back. I am only staying over night. I will come again. I would drive from my home city of liverpool to done here again xx
T. L.
Really nice place and the food is decent. It does have very limited vegetarian and vegan options though.
M. M.
Amazing character building with great atmosphere. Food is to die for... thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The Well is definitely the talking point!.
Would definitely recommend Play Gin & Beer House.
a. p.
Just brilliant. Atmosphere is great, drinks are lovely. Place is very quirky and not full of young people so has a great ambience.
j. t.
Not the cheapest but very tasty tapas
G. S.
Excellent and tasty vegan menu. Lovely wine. Gorgeous atmospheric lighting. This is such a little gem in Preston town centre.
P. R.
Really cool little place with lots of character. You wouldn't know it if you just looked through the main window but there are a few hidden rooms and a cellar.
Food was not cheap but nice. Need to try the gin next time.
H.
Very aesthetically nice bar, we sat downstairs where you can see the well underneath the bar it is a great feature. Lovely atmosphere and drinks are reasonably priced.
N. C.
Very good Gin selection. Plenty of seating. Nice atmosphere.
L. C.
Really lovely bar. Great range of beer and gins. Superb customer service from front of house man. Great to see something like this in Preston. Looks buzzing at night too.
C. H.
Fantastic food and gin , lovely hidden gem in Preston, well worth a visit, numerous cozy areas to have a drink and great service, food and price. The food quality and flavours are amazing.
C. S.
Best sunday dinner ever
M. S.
Great selection of drinks on offer in a cosy inconspicuous location. But let me tell you something... If you are hungry, opt for that Play Breakfast. My gosh that was delicious!
L. R.
A beautiful new addition for Preston...really friendly staff who took time to greet us and explain the different drinks on offer, very different decor, with inside well. Can't wait to go back 🍷🥂🥃
R. H.
Love the place classy and decent ales on. And a little different with the well and quirky alcoves
J. H.
Beautifully restored 18th century building. A warren of panelled passageways and cosy corners on many levels gives it a warm, homely atmosphere and a private aspect. Visit the lowest level to see a skywalk experience style well dugout that adds a little curiosity to the already eclectic venue.
A. S.
Exceptional food, drink and staff/management! Great atmosphere. Highly recommended, a real gem.
A. M.
A gem I'm Preston. Lots of character. Tasty food that speaks quality. A well stocked bar and best of all. Staff that care.
Keep it up Plau.
J. R.

I cannot recommend them enough. Great food, delightful drinks, wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff.
The well must be seen and the overall decor is delightful.
T. P.
Finally got a spare time to have a look the Plau, first impression as I entered was the smile of the staff then the interior gets your attention absolute masterpiece what Preston needs.
Food and drinks top quality.!
R. B.
Friendly staff and great variety of ales and gins. Look out for the well.
R. D.
Great to see a new quality bar opening in Preston. Cellar bar with vaulted ceilings and a glass covered well in the floor is really worth seeing. My new favorite bar in Preston!
D. G.
Great setting and great food. The service was really good also. Make sure you go and see the well in the basement.
G. D.
Great food and history
D. C.
Great venue, great food
S. T.
Beautifully restored old building over several floors & a cellar.
Large selection of craft beers.
Food looked tasty.
K. Y.
Magical place to spend an evening
D. C.
Expensive, main selling point is the atmosphere and a few isolated menu items
M. F.
Nice pub. The well is a good feature. Havnt tried the food yet but the dining room lovely decor.
j. f.
The Plau is my favourite place to escape reality. Its a lovely little place to relax, unwind, read a book and enjoy amazing cocktails and food.
L. C.
The Play Gin and Beer house is a great place to drink and eat. Met with friends and tried the Gin and and food. A great asset for Preston taking an old building and making it stand out.
I. G.
Wow.....what a place this is!!top quality gin bar with a great range of beers to boot!!compliments to the chef for brilliant food as well!!the king prawns and the Sui mai are up there with the best I've had... definitely back again soon!!
K. A.
Brillant place good prices .unfortunately they weren't selling food at the time but menu looked good .lovely little room down stairs your be able to see the old well but be careful it is dark going down there .
M. B.
Just the menu didn't offer much on our visit (1 pm Friday) lovely place. Unfortunately we were freezing cold. Will try again.
D. W.
Great beers and food. Really interesting building with a well in the cellar. Staff were excellent, would recommend.
M. B.
Amazing atmosphere, could this be the best place in Preston?
D. C.
Something different than the usual pubs in Preston. Attractively unusual and old fashioned. Quaint. Bar is way to small though. So expect to wait to get served.
R. M.
Me and my friend Curtis think this is the best bar in Preston! Hands down. He travels all the from Bury to see it and we love it ❤
P. B.
Fantastic service and excellent food served in a place that is full of character and historic charm. One of my favourite places in Preston.
S. W.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Lovely historical building sympathetically restored. But beware there are lots of steps.
P. R.
Great bar/pub with a good selection of gins and beer, served by friendly and helpful staff. I'll be coming back again for sure.
M. C.
Amazing food, slow service but clear that the food is made to order and nowhere near a microwave!
Looking forward to going again.
C. O.
Definitely worth checking out not just for the great food but also the the cool underground well in the basement bar. Very cool atmosphere.
R. G.
A great place with lovely staff
E. T.
Amazing building, the well is a must-see. Step through the doors and you feel like you’re not in Preston. Well worth a visit!
E. B.
Love this place, beautiful characterful building, great food and lovely drinks. The staff are fantastic, friendly and welcoming.
P. S.
Very nice place. Good beer. Food smelled lovely and will return there to sample it.
P. B.
I'm not sure this place knows what it wants to be. Gin Palace? Craft Beer hub? traditional tavern? It doesn't really matter as it's all good.
Check out the well
A. B.
