Brilliant cosy proper pub! New land lady very welcoming, lots of craft ales and flavoured gins. Pool table and family games in the snug.

Good environment. Friendly staff. Especially love the smart phone quiz on a Wednesday. Which includes a great host. Music bingo and some free grub. Great prizes for winning and some friendly competitive teams. They often communicate via their Facebook group to. To let you know about any updates or special events com ing up. Always worth popping in during the daytime for a couple with a quiet crowd that are additionally friendly.

Very rowdy for a Saturday afternoon. Didn't mind that at all. Adds a good atmosphere to the place. Bit small so limited for seats. Don't go in expecting to be able to sit down, especially at busy times.
