The Cajun burger is one of the best burgers I've had in a while, the chicken was tender but still had a good bite to it. It was beautifully seasoned, if you're a fan of spicy its a great choice. The fries had a tasty Cajun seasoning and the coleslaw was really fresh and crispy. I was very surprised all round and I'll gladly return for this burger.

First time me and the family have visited and have decided we won't be going back. The food took a very long time to cook and there was only three of us ordering food in the whole place. The food wasn't anything special didn't taste amazing or terrible, just a very generic and a bit pricy place to go for food.

Had a lovely family meal this evening. Everything was freshly cooked and piping hot. Lasagne, steak and ale pie, lord Stanley burger and posh fish finger butty. Chips and onion rings were amazing too. Thanks to Antony the chef! Would definitely recommend

We came here and basically it was great! Staff were nice very warm, welcoming, friendly atmosphere and had a lovely peaceful night with friends and family. Definitely well cooked food and fantastic delicious meals.

Only bobbed in for one drink, it was very quiet but then it was a random Thursday afternoon so expected. Partner had some chips which I nicked one or two of and they were lovely so if any indication of the food it is good. Young woman (only one behind the bar) was very friendly and helpful, my wife noted (and commented to her if she was ok which she assured she was) she was having to deal with a random idiot at the bar that was far past one too many at around 3pm and being a bit of a pain, but from the interaction with my wife and observation she dealt with him expertly and professionally (not that she should of had too but unfortunately idiots will always exist!) and needed no help from anyone.. Far better than I would have! So if the food and staff are anything to judge by, for an hour visit on a random mid day afternoon a nice little city centre pub!

A good place to visit if you like Motown and Northern Soul and miss the sounds from Wigan Casino and The Highland room at Blackpool Mecca. There is an upstairs venue for the real enthusiast and a small dance floor downstairs both with their own DJ. Oh I forgot to add they also serve decent beer, an around decent pub

Old pub in city 30 years ago I was a regular. It got a rough reputation a few years ago. But we thought we would try it. Limited choice of real ale but what I had was A1. Very clear and fresh but it was EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE in comparison with local bars within a 2 minutes walk. Big shame.

Love going to this pub specially when it's jumping ☺️ it just has 1 downside - the music. I only go out every couple of months and while the music is good, you can guarantee that they'll be playing exactly the same songs as they were a couple of months before. In fact they play exactly the same songs week in week out with no variety. It does make it boring specially as you can 2nd guess what they're going to play. 😐😐

The Stanley Arms is a traditional pub on Lancaster Road in Preston. It lies between Fishergate and the Guild Hall. It is a nice pub. It has BT Wi-Fi. It has a range of beers and lagers. It also has a television to watch. It does food as well. It also has a function room upstairs that you can hire. I had a pint of Birra Moretti in the Stanley Arms and it was of good quality. I would recommend a visit to the Stanley Arms pub on Lancaster Road in Preston.
