Not a bad pub nice staff beers good no tv no music but if u like it that way bob on

Dirt cheap beer - their mild is a blessing at £1.37. and it's decent too. Haven't tried the light mild. Phones and laptops etc are banned in here for a good reason - have a conversation. There's no music/jukebox just people and conversation. Staff are excellent too. Note: take cash as they don't take cards.

Beautiful interior and old style central bar. Standard Sam Smith's range but lacking a couple. Staff were very friendly and informative.

Very nice traditional boozer. Value for money drinks at Sam Smiths only Preston pub, no food or music just excellent beers and Friendly staff with current safe covid precautions in place. Remember though, switch off mobile phones and ipads and strictly no swearing! Well worth a visit.

This is a proper, old school pub. They don't allow mobile phones and encourage people to actually converse! Friendly staff, good range of beers and lagers at very reasonable prices. I hope to visit again soon.

This place has a classic proper pub atmosphere. Friendly staff and the prices are very reasonable. Great that they don't have a Jukebox or TV on so you can have a good conversation. Some say this is the oldest pub in Preston, although the Black Horse also claims this title. It's certainly old school, and I hope it stays open for another century at least

The Blue Bell is a haven for those who like to enjoy a decent pint while heaving a chat with friends. It is a reassuringly unpretentious boozer. Well run, orderly and clean. As a Sam Smiths house there are no well-known brands on sale. But there is normally an equivalent in the Smith's range. Supremely important: the bitter is well-kept and only £2 a pint.
