Absolutely amazing food and wonderful service. We only paid £24 all together for two meals that were stacked and delicious and two drinks both doubles of rum and whiskey. The staff are wonderful and welcoming, the wonderful man who served us even gave my partner recommendations on rum as it is their favorite. Will definitely be visiting again ^_^

Went in this afternoon and had a fantastic meal. Really top service by John on the bar. He went the extra mile to make sure our visit was the best it could be. And the chef, Kirsten I believe was her name, what amazing food she made for use. I had the chicken quesadilla. I will be returning again and recommending Roper Hall to all my family.

Amazing atmosphere, Staff gave such a warm welcoming. John was very efficient and very clued up on the menu of both drinks and food and left me with no questions or queries, He even had a few recommendations wich didn't go a miss. However Kirsten the chef was absolutely outstanding, my food was incredible and she was very consistent through the courses I had eaten. 1000/10 would go again!

If it's good enough for Ginger Spice, it's good enough for me! The new menu has been a great improvement to the overall offer, as has the new drinks that they are offering now. The Craft and Cocktails offer on a Thursday is a particular favourite, especially as also combined with a quiz and karaoke.

Food a bit expensive for what it is and £4.60 is a bit pricey for a Birra Moretti, would rather they’d have kept Estrella on draught as it was one of the only places in Preston to serve it on draught they do still sell it however! Quiz is a laugh though and worth the £1 entry per person, never had a bad experience here! Love roper!

It's a good upstairs with snooker, pool and table tennis. But the beer is expensive, especially the Guinness. Not to mention they didn't even bother to have the barrel filled when I asked, even though they had seven nations signs everywhere with Guinness on them.

Booked the bottomless brunch for our anniversary and could not fault it one bit thank you so much to Ian and his staff the big breakfast was amazing and also the choice of drinks including cocktails were available with the offer. Recently visited Roper Hall for the bottomless brunch and I wasn't disappointed! Very good value for money, £20 got me a breakfast and all the booze I could drink in 90 minutes (had 10+ glasses of prosecco). The staff are friendly, especially Phil, Ben and Corky (I think they need a raise). Only negative was that my breakfast was missing beans, but the bar man was more than happy to go and get some from the kitchen when I pointed it out. Would highly recommended Roper Halls bottomless brunch deal! Good food and good value for money, friendly staff 10/10

Visited Roper Hall last night. Had a few drinks with friends and ordered some Angry Chicken Wings. They were cooked nicely and tasted great, although they weren’t very angry....more slightly ticked off 😄 We just put more hot sauce on and they were much better! visited this venue on Friday night for a friends hen - the host was very welcoming and got us seated together (on seperate tables following COVID) - which previous places could not do. The female waitress who first came over to take our order seemed very stressed like we were an inconvenience, however the male waiter who took our orders and made our drinks was great! Constantly coming over and making sure we were okay for drinks and making us feel very welcome.

Comfortable and friendly watering hole providing a wide selection of draught real ales and lagers. Numerous and varied events throughout the year - music etc. - plus weekly activities. We didn't sample the food (because there is so much great competition nearby) but the menu offers a fair range of regular favourites, burgers, ribs and the like. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Big fan of this pub. Great for sports events with a lot of small and big screens so everyone can watch, but also good for themed events as well like Halloween and Christmas. Favourite part has to be the drink selection, good and varied but they've also got a good selection of reliable drinks as well. Staff are lovely and friendly

Lovely ambience and pleasant staff. We all enjoyed our food from a wide selection and large menu. I was a bit disappointed when I was told they were out of beef patties but enjoyed the chicken sandwich I picked instead. Great drink selection and the bonus card where you can accumulate points is a nice touch. Plenty of room is to be had and they have a large outside area also.

Food was pretty good but 3 stars because there's no baby change facility. Had to change my 3 month old on the toilet floor. Might be advertised towards students but it's still open to general public and should have the facilities to match. Not even sure there was a disabled toilet, if there is a disabled toilet then there should be a baby change in there. Not happy with this at all would have gone to eat somewhere else if we hadn't already ordered food.

A big group of us went in for vegan food.we all got to sit together on a big table. It was a really nice venue. Relaxing, clean and homely. Staff were fab and helpful and the food came out super quick. There were lots of vegan options like hot dog, cauliflower wings, curries, burgers and more. My hot dog was delicious. I will be back.

Amazing staff, fun quiz night & karaoke on a thursday, games room is wheelchair accessible via a lift. Food is amazing, cocktails are amazing. Only major down sides are that the disabled toilet is currently in a bit of a mess and the room needs a few things fixing, and that the disabled toilet room it’s self is too small for a wheelchair & person to get in and out of the wheelchair safely. Also if someone opens the main door while someone is upstairs in a wheelchair - they struggle to get out as the main door blocks the lift door, meaning you’ll end up locked in if you’re on your own. Oh. And the pool tables are slightly uneven.

Love it in Roper and all the scream pubs. The food is always really good and often quick. They do different deals on different days. The Games Room upstairs is amazing. 4 pool tables of loads and different games. Often showing major sports games on the big screen :)

They've changed the manager recently and they have upgrade their menus and the quality of their service. The bar staff was really friendly and helpful and the toilets were clean.

I went do an event for Uni. At the start there was only 1 male staff, who seemed very confused of the location of the beer glasses and the types of drinks they offered. Luckily another staff came in who looked reluctant to be there but was very knowledgeable behind the counter.

Though i like Roper Hall, i dont think it is as good since they renovated it. They have made it feel a little posh, were i quite liked the charming down to earth feel that it had. Also removing the pool table to me is a holy sin. All pubs by law should have a pool table. If only i was in charge, life would feel like paradise. The pool table they did have was awful though, the ball just kept going once you had taken your shot. It was like the laws of physics did not apply, Einstein would of been left scratching his head. Still a great place though to chill and get a drink.

Popped in today to relive my uni days and the new menu had just been rolled out, I ordered the Smashed Avo Crumpets and found them to be quite delicious! The staff are all lovely, especially Ian.... I think that was his name. Will be calling back again for sure.
