What a cracking pub. This is a pub that is not trying to be anything else. We have been going to Thursday quiz night for about 6 months and the team and regulars always make us very welcome. Friendliest pub going

Good pub to watch sport, with the added advantage of much cheaper beers & spirits. Bar staff helpful and good music on every weekend. Lovely space outside, all year round but more welcome in summer. Well worth visiting.

Too many screens showing too much football: a nightmare for anyone wanting a quiet drink. Otherwise, a well run pub with very good beer at reasonable prices. Clientele on the 'basic' side but none the worse for that.

OMG the Cheeseburger and Chips! I'm American and this was hands down the best burger I've had on this side of the pond. Served with sauteed onions, roasted tomatoes on a bed of crisp lettuce, and three onion rings... Just wow. The chips were perfect also. Absolutely a true find!

Great local pub ...always friendly and welcoming,Landord and landlady (Brian and Liz) make sure they have plenty going on...live music at weekends along with football bingo on a saturday afternoon are well worth going in for...great prices and really nice seating booths outside the back area are an extra bonus.Well worth a visit if you live locally or are visiting the area.
