Even if you aren't a big fan of sports this is a wonderful bar to grab a nice meal from. There's a wide range of food on the menu and an even bigger selection of drinks sold here too. The staff are super nice too, overall giving this place an incredible atmosphere for anyone visiting.

Quite noisy and tables were crammed together so we could hear conversations at other tables. Food was basic in choices but good when it arrived. My chicken was a little dry but all the food we ordered in our party of 6 was good. They did 2 for the price of 1 cocktails up to 8pm so we took advantage of that offer. Good choice of beers too. Rustic tables and bar added to the venue character.

**UPDATE** Below is my original review however I have been back multiple times since and thought it's only right I update my review. It's still as amazing as my first experience infact, that good when I stayed over in Preston a few days ago, we went both days! I have added some updated pictures of the buffalo boneless strips which are just as delicious and this time I also tried a burger (the kick and cooler) and we shared some grid iron fries. Honestly, I wouldn't choose the burger again. It was covered with too much sauce that it just gushed out and my hands were covered in it but also because the wings and boneless are next level I'd be daft to stray again. I was a little disappointed with the grid iron fries as the burger pieces which topped the fries were a bit dry and chewy. At £9 for a portion I found that a little steep. Their bog standard seasoned fries are really tasty as they are so I'd stick with them in future. The onion rings are in breadcrumbs (personally I prefer battered onion rings) but these were really tasty, jucy and had a nice crunch! I would still 100% recommend visiting. Even if its just to have a drink and share a portion of wings or boneless between you. The place has a really cool vibe. *********** Myself and four friends visited wings and beer after having a couple of drinks. None of us had been here before but all love good wings so thought we would give it a go. They do a good pint which is always a good start. Between us we ordered the cajun, buffalo and DCFM wings and the buffalo boneless wings. We also ordered some cheese sticks and seasoned fries. Do you know when food is that good that it silences everyone because you are all too busy enjoying it? That's exactly what happened. The silence only being broken to tell each other how good the food is. I actually live in Manchester with my partner who is originally from Preston and I'd absolutely travel just to go back to this place again. If you haven't been, you need to! (Pictures are of the buffalo boneless wings and honey it's an o'cajun wings)

Beware, we ordered food from the table on their app and only at the final step of paying does it tell you that there's a compulsory 10% service charge! Nothing on the menu to tell you this. Disappointing. 10% seems a bit much when they're not even taking the orders themselves! (And it took 20 minutes to even get our drinks!) Now, the food itself was really very nice. (Although the amount of sauce on the chicken wings varied hugely from plate to plate, totally dry on one and swimming on the other.) However, we could see the kitchen and could see our food was ready and sat under the heat lamps for more than 5 minutes before someone bothered to bring it over to us. And only then did we find out that some of the items we ordered weren't available and they asked if we wanted something else. Why wait until then? Saw someone else complaining that they'd waited an hour for their food and wanted their money back. So a real mixed bag here. Good food and atmosphere. Good place to watch sports like football or F1. But on the other hand, the service isn't great at times and everything is overpriced (especially when you add that 10% service charge).

Otherwise known as that Chicken Place on Cannon Street, you don’t have to be Tintin to suss that this is a place where Henry Chinaski would be at ease. Tucked away in a discrete side-street off the mostly pedestrianised Fishergate district and a stones throw from Winckley Square, it’s perfect for whiling away the hours gazing at your choice of sports. In true American style the screens are easily visible and cover more than one choice of sport including that peculiar version of rugby that our cousins across the Atlantic call football. Such inanities are suitably pondered over a lovely selection of CAMRA approved Real Ales. Given the inroads made by microbreweries in the US, chances are they’ll feel right at home. On to the food, it’s burgers, buttermilk chicken and fries with more than a casual nods to the vegans amongst us. As Korea discovered after the American incursion, wings and beer are a match made in heaven. The Buffalo sauce is exquisite! Potently pungent and tangy to boot. I suspect the wings are double fried for extra crisping, which is as they should be. The blue cheese sauce was a good ‘un. Well worth a trip even if you have no idea what deflategate was all about.

Finally got around in trying the food from here and I couldn’t fault the burger. Cooked really well, juicy and the chips were spot on. Friendly staff and easy to use Covid app ordering. Would go again and recommend for anyone looking for good American style food.

Outstanding little place... I can't comment on food but been 5 times now and always had an exceptional experience... Firstly let's talk about Covid precautions taken... This is one of the most diligent bars I seen not only the regular sanitiser on every bar but every surface touched is promptly wiped down by staff observed this multiple times Great selection of drinks from real ale standard blondes like morrhouses to super sweet cider such as lily.... Paulaner and blue moon on draft among many others saw cocktails being offered to Friendly staff and great little place heard nothing but good things about the food too Highly recommend

Visited yesterday for my birthday Meal with my husband, the atmosphere is lovley and relaxed and street is quiet, I love that the whole front of restaurant opens up making it very European. My first time eating here was an absolute amazing experience. I ordered the salt and pepper wings with halloumi fries on the side. It tasted amazing. I can't wait to come back and try the other flavours of wings! The food is pretty cheap but it tastes very premium. The place gives me a fun vibe, a kinda place you can go either on a date or an amazing hang out with your mates. There are plenty of TVs too, if you're interested in watching sports - so I think this place will be pretty amazing for football fans too. Service was super quick and the staff are really nice here. The atmosphere is awesome. You can totally bet that I'll come again, and I'm really looking forward to it.

A great little sports bar, with good food and drink at reasonable prices. Good place to go if you want to watch sports and have a few beers and a bite to eat. Lots of TV screens and several booths, gets very busy at peak times so I would recommend booking in advance. No parking, but access for taxis, a 2 minute walk from Fishergate. Have visited several times and have never been disappointed. Polite well mannered staff. Can get very noisy at times, but would not stop me from visiting.

Went here with friends on Friday after work. It had a great atmosphere and it was very surprised by the choice and range on the menu. I had a burrito and friends had burgers. Food was decent. However one of the bouncers wouldn't let us in 1/2 hour early for our reservation . We went to the slug and lettuce, came back and he still wouldn't let us in. One of our party was pregnant and we had to stand outside in the cold until another bouncer kindly let us in. Not a pleasant experience.

Brought my family of four out for tea here. I was a little but dubious as it's a bar on a Saturday night and I was concerned that it might not really be suitable for the kids but I couldn't have been more wrong, we were welcomed warmly, the atmosphere was friendly. Decent food and reasonable service. Barman was a bit miserable but everyone else was very polite and helpful. Had the buffalo wings which were good but nothing special, wifey had the mac n cheese which was tasty but wasn't exactly piping hot. The boy had the boneless wings (dry) which were OK but probably would have been better with one of the sauces. Will be trying again, seems like a good venue for food before a night on the town. Torn between 3 or 4 stars, but giving them the benefit of the doubt at 4. Worth a try if you like wings.

First time I went the buffalo wings were the best I'd ever had! Went on bank holiday Monday and they were abit burnt and lacking sauce, assuming it was just a one off. The burgers were amazing though and could barely finish them, huge! Unfortunately had to move tables before our time was up because another party arrived early. I had the chilli dog which was unreal, the portion was basically too much to handle and tasted amazing. Washed it down with a couple of proper ales and the staff are really friendly and helpful. A few of my side dishes were lacking and I ended up just leaving them, which wasn’t questioned when they cleared my table, maybe they just weren’t for me but the mac and cheese especially was no good. I’d definitely go again as the atmosphere was great, the sports on the screens was decent (screens wherever you look) and the prices are spot on. Just don’t expect too much from the sides, I think they’re focusing much more on the mains which are incredible.

Popped in for lunch with two teenagers during half term. Everything was really well cooked. The fries in particular were amazing. Tried this place for the first time last week, great cozy little place down the side street. Menu is great, bit of everything on there and plenty of drinks to choose from We had 2 cocktails, and ordered ther sharing platter which was great! Only been here twice but fell in love with it the first visit just to watch a match. Its a sports bar, so you'll have footy on with volume early in the day. It's got a menu that's very Anerican/Mexican with different styles of wings, burritos, nachos, burgers etc. What I love about it is how relaxed it is. Super chilled, noisy with chit chat, sport, or music at night. Lots of people relaxing, having fun. Not only that but the food is excellent, and very reasonably priced. My second visit was with family for an 18th so there were plenty of young kids, late teens and us older lot. My parents in their 70's came as well, and loved it. Everyone did. Nothing better than digging in with your hands for wings, nachos with cheese and chilli and burritos. Make sure to book in advance cos its busy, but you'll enjoy it if you just want a fun, happy experience with great tasting food that won't break the bank.

The food was really good and at a very competitive price. I love the beer here but it is pretty expensive, you're talking around £5 for a craft beer which is a little more than most places. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that I asked 3 times if the darts could be put on as the PDC world championships was on. This never happened even though they had re-runs of snooker on many of their screens that nobody seemed to be watching. Other than that I can't complain and it did mean I got to see City getting beat off Wolves 🤣
