D. R.A spacious environment with no televisions to bother you while you’re eating and socializing. The menu is limited but the chef, Danny, does an excellent job with everything he touches. Overall I would say that the food is good, but in the average range. What really sets this place apart is the excellent service and the staff were very friendly and outgoing especially the general manager Adam. This has been my daily go to pub since I’ve been in Reading.
E. J.We came to Reading for my birthday for brunch and I was not disappointed. There was not a time my glass was empty and they were very accommodating to making sure we had Prosecco. Adam was especially amazing and can’t thank him enough. Made us feel welcome and ordering drinks wasn’t a problem. Great man. Great place. 12/10 would recommend
T. M.I visit pitcher and piano quite regularly, every experience is outstanding. The staff are amazing and have definitely made friends for life. Service never disappoints and the evening atmosphere is unbeatable. The food is fantastic every time. If you ever find yourself in reading I would advise you visit for a night you will or won’t remember ;)

L.We had a group of us come here to eat dinner. They offer salads, burgers and a variety of other comfort foods as well as drinks. I got the Thai curry and personally would've have liked it to be a bit spicier. The burgers and salads looked amazing, so I'd definitely recommend that if you happen to stop by here.
The ambience is nice and the servers are great too.
H. H.I had a wonderful time, the service was excellent, Adam was so lovely and friendly. The food was great and they were happy to accommodate the changed I needed to my meal.
The prosecco was consistently topped up we were never without a drink which is exactly how a bottomless brunch should be! The cocktails were also lovely great orange juice to prosecco ratio. I would 100% recommend this to my friends and I can't wait to come again. We stayed after out bottomless brunch had ended and the cocktails we had were also lovely!

My food (morrocan style chicken in a flatbread) was very nice. Their Bottomless Brunch seemed very popular- make sure you book in advance.

A. F.Amazing place to go drinking with a friend. Went last Wednesday and had an amazing time. If you are thinking of going out for the first time, it's a perfect place. Really relaxed and good background music, near the station too, and the bartender was really nice. Definitely will go here again

D. W.Nice meeting spot for a catch up with friends although craft beer selection is lacking good selection of quality larger and IPA. Good variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic soft drinks, my wife enjoyed the espresso marti-no as she is pregnant and loves the alcoholic version.

E. F.Roast beef was a little tough and strangely pink in places so I will probably have a vegetarian roast next time as my vegetables were fantastic. Will definitely have the Sticky Toffee Pudding again as well and would probably go there just for that and a cup of coffee. All in all, a great Sunday Lunch.
C. C.Had a really nice cocktail inside. Couldn't remember what it was but had a few! Nice open space for socialising and also gave it a very clean feeling. Didn't have loads to eat just some picky bits like the chicken wings, olives and small tapas like bits, they were all delisous!

I can't eat gluten or dairy and the staff were wonderful at catering for my allergies, only thing I had to forge was the Yorkshire pudding understandably. The waitress even checked that the mustard was definitely okay. Really nice Sunday roast and nice setting with some board games if you get there fast.

d.Great venue good food & drinks selection, good atmosphere. However disappointed with our visit on Sunday. We had booked a table as there was a group of 8 of us for a birthday meal. When we arrived at about 6pm we were told there was no draft beer/lager of any kind as they were cleaning the lines! Wish they had told me that they do this whilst they are open when I booked the table. I really don't understand why they had to clean ALL of the lines at the same time and especially whilst they are open. I ended up having to pay extra for bottled beer. We never received any kind of apology nor satisfactory explanation as to why they choose to do the line cleaning whilst they are open. No offer of a free drink or discount either. We were told 'there's plenty pf bottled beer'. How can a pub justify opening when its not selling draft beer. There were no signs to advise us of this to be seen anywhere in the pub. If it had been that the delivery of kegs had been delayed and they had run out of beer they would have signs up everywhere. Very disappointed that they chose to do the line cleaning whilst open and even more disappointed with the response we received.

Tge food was pretty good and not too expensive for the location. Tge drinks were reasonably priced.
