Sensational Sunday lunch
I visited this lovely place for a Sunday lunch. There was a wide range of both meat and vegetarian options available. One of the very few pubs locally that have other vegetarian options such as chilli and curry, such a good find.
I had the nut roast which was accompanied with potatoes, veg and a side of cauliflower cheese, it was delicious. The staff were very fast, super friendly and the whole place had a nice atmosphere. I will return!

We stopped off at this delightful, cosy pub on our return journey. We had a fabulous home cooked roast dinner. Excellent quality meat with a great variety of vegetables cooked to perfection. The staff were extremely friendly and made you feel very welcome. It’s also conveniently located just off the M4 so not much of a diversion. We’ll definitely be back!

We stopped in here on Thursday of the Bank holiday weekend with our dog and were greeted with warmth from the staff who were absolutely lovely. We were initially just grateful that the pub was still serving food and that there was space in the garden for us to enjoy the fab weather, so we were delighted to find that the food was super yum and the service was awesome. Our wee man Monty was given a doggy bowl (without prompting), which was a sweet touch. The team there went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Thanks folks 🤗

Lovely Vegetarian Sunday lunch! Filling and tasty. Washed down with a nice pint. TVs showing the Grand Prix. Only a few parking spaces out back, but we found one on the high street just out front of the pub. There was also a Public carpark a few metres further down the road. We sat in the bar area which was nice, partitioned off from the main bar. A nice pub to head to on a lazy Sunday. The staff were super polite and just lovely, all men on Sunday!

The food was great, the staff looked after us very well. They even got us our own heater, and every seat had a blanket too.
No doubt I'll be back.

Very helpful staff who made us feel welcomed. The menu was reasonable but the steak pie was excellent (meaty, good portion) whilst my partners Scampi was the small portion but still ample for the average person.
The pint of Old Timer was excellent.
If passing would be very happy to return.
