A friendly pub with great wifi - I needed to stop for a work meeting and I was even able to have a good quality Zoom call. The pot of tea was very cute and the manager came over to check everything was okay which was nice. Recommended.

This spot is amazing! Great IPA especially the Greene King is a must try. If you have an appetite food is pretty good too, the new girl in back says Fish and chips is the way to go! I did and totally believe her now lol. Fun and friendly with great management. Enjoy!!!!

What a lovely, dog-friendly place. Friendly professional staff and lovely food. There was a water supply interruption which had affected the kitchen. The staff were so calm and professional we'd never have known about this serious problem until we ordered glasses of water. Definitely coming back.

A friendly pub with good quality food and drinks. The staff are helpful and service is great. There are seating outside as well and a convenient car park. Some areas could do with a coat of paint and are in need of decorating. For instance WC in and out and there’s large stain on the carpet right at the entrance to the kitchen!

Visited the White Horse pub for the first time and found it to be a friendly, cosy pub with little areas to sit privately or larger areas for mixing with others. Ordered some food which was good and hot. The staff were friendly and Tom the manager brought our food and drinks himself. Lovely chap. We have booked a table for New Years Eve and are looking forward to a festive night. Good job White Horse staff.....

Despite the pub manager resigning a few days prior (we were a larger party of 7 adults and 3 children so we pre booked a table and emailed our meal choices to help them prepare a few weeks prior to our visit) this visit was memorable and for the majority of it for the right reasons. No one expects a pub to be busy on a Monday lunchtime, and it wasn't. I felt for the staff on duty because the pub Manager had effectively left junior staff without any knowledge of our menu choices. When we rocked up it was quiet but they then had to take our order from scratch. They did really well to be fair. Due to supply chain issues (very, very common right now as anyone who is in touch with the news) much of the menu wasn't available so we ordered what was available to us. It did take a good while for all the meals to be cooked and we ended up eating in sporadic batches when they had it ready a couple of plates at a time. The pros were that they food was hot, fresh, and cooked to order and the place was clean and tidy. The staff serving were polite, friendly, and gave us a free round of drinks as we had been very patient and understanding. The cons were the length of time it took and the fact there were gaps of anywhere up to 15 - 20 minutes between our meals arriving so we didn't eat together. Some of this was no doubt down to the staff struggling without a manager to help run things smoothly do hats off to them, but this pub does need some work and some leadership to get it right.

It's been a lovely Saturday afternoon sitting in the best garden in the sun ☀️ love that this a dog friendly pub and there's a field just over the road which is handy if you're planning to have a few drinks haha. The bar staff were friendly and the beer was chilled.

The White Horse is a lovely Pub with a friendly atmosphere, it is spotlessly clean & the garden is beautiful and well kept. Me & my partner enjoyed a very tasty meal opting for the chickenless katsu curry and the mushroom and ale pie, washed down with a couple bottles of icebreaker. We were extremely pleased with the vegan & vegetarian choices and how quickly the food took to come out. Thank you to the lovely Tom who could not have been more helpful. I look forward to returning soon!

As an American tourist, this little pub in Berkshire was a real find in quaint Emmer Green village. Very clean and excellent food. Try the mocha cake which is amazing!

The pub is clean with clean rest rooms and hand sanitizers everywhere inside. The vegetables were not fresh and there is no excuse for it when you are 2 mins away from a good veg and fruit distributor. The dish could have been prepared better. For example, the mash potato was dry. The steak was raw as if they cooked frozen meet while we did not order raw. The staff wear masks. The service was ok, too.

My first time in this pub and I discovered something that has eluded me for a long time :- a pub that does old traditional food, there it was :- liver and bacon with onions, mashed spuds and garden peas. Just a ten minute.taxi ride away. On my next visit I'll have to lookbat the rest of the menu. My thanks for bringing back wonderful memories. I must stop telling people how good the food is, it's getting crowded in here.

Food was good but I got my meal first out of 8 on my table had finish before some got their's and then there was an hours wait before desert. I was then last so had waited 1 and 1/2 hours. Not the sort of service I expected when we had booked well in advance and pre ordered.

Popped in here on a hot Friday afternoon, as I was visiting friends around the corner. Really friendly barman Tommy, who was dashing his way around the till and bar as it was quite busy. The inside of the pub has just been refurbished and looks pleasant and comfortable. We took our drinks outside onto the decking which looked inviting in the recent sunny weather and ordered food. .I was lucky to meet Darren and his wife Ema who run the place. It was refreshing these days to find people who want to be an integral part of the community and doing such a good job as well. Typical Greene King ales and the odd guest ale. Food was very good and actually quite reasonable, I will definitely visit my friends more often now that I know they have a decent little Gem on the doorstep!

Went in with friends and family long wait for. Food and when ordered didn't have half things on menu and glass had chip and cracked but did replaced and free drink. And over order of a pudding. But they did put right and give refund but main thing was not having food missing
