K. B.A fantastic place for a pint and the food is top notch. I had the 6oz Stilton cheeseburger, chips and salad with coleslaw. Absolutely amazing and it IS Stilton cheese. Very tasty and fresh.
Tucked away around the main precinct in Hythe is this popular pub.
Laid back and relaxing with good service.
Easy access for all including wheelchair accessibility.
Lots of drink options like ale, ciders and more.
Great for sitting outside in the sun with adequate seating and parasols.
Very dog friendly with water bowls available. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
J. T.Lovely food, nice setting. Staff were pleasant, but unfortunately need training. Our starter arrived with our main course, and we didn’t have a check back, so we’re left gasping for more drinks with our food, as it took over 45 minutes for our dishes to arrive. We were there when it was quiet too. No online presence, no menus posted. Seems great for locals sat at the bar with time to kill, but not great for others.
A. W.Lovely little pub that serves great food. Two of our group are Coeliac (gluten-free) and the staff were extremely helpful in determining which menu items in the menu were suitable. They even went into the kitchen to explore additional options with the chef.
The food itself was very tasty and reasonably priced (£11 for burger, chips and salad). Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!
Z. L. G.Great independent free house, that looks like a traditional pub, is a traditional pub, but also isn't a traditional pub. I know that makes no sense, but go along and you'll see what I mean.

J. J.A small group of us often go into Ebenezers on a Wednesday evening.
The staff are welcoming and cheerful.
Other visitors always appear contented and chatty.
There is a selection of Real Ales.
When I have had evening meals they have always been delicious and properly cooked.
There or a large car park to the rear which is free during the evenings.
Hythe ferry and bus terminus are close by.
Thoroughly recommend a visit.
D. M.Nice quiet bar in Hythe town centre, with a quality pint. Good choice place to go if you like a social chat with friends, without the disturbance of loud music or TV as there is none.
W. S.Great atmosphere and the staff are knowledgeable and give great advice on drinks. Especially on the choice of rums. Mark was really amazing when one of our group had a problem and went above and beyond to help.

P.I ate here for the first time on Monday lunchtime and I was really impressed , the food was amazing and we were looked after really well , the menu is varied and is very good value , the portions are huge , I couldn't manage all mine , they must waste a lot of food , but I will definitely go back again and will recommend it to my friends

J. B.Popped in after a concert, the ambiance was warm and welcoming. There were tables clear and clean to sit at. On a late Saturday evening was an unexspected pleasure. A selection of real ales, gins, and larger. Other drinks available, but those were the ones we were interested in. Lovely way to conclude our Saturday night. Thank you Ebenezers.
M. J.Just had a family meal at Ebenezers. The food as always was excellent. Have often eaten here and the staff (bar and table service) have always been excellent as well. However not so tonight and there has been a noticeable drop in standards. I did speak to the manager and do hope that the service from staff returns to the very high standards it has been in the past.

B. H.Great local pub, staff are fantastic, the food is great and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxing. Can get busy and they do beer festivals during bank holidays and other pub related events. The beer garden is very well laid out and nice in summer. Very accessible for disabled, space to leave mobility scooters outside, and open space to access tables/toilets etc inside.
P. D.In Hythe for the Southampton boat show, went for a walk round the town and found this Pub tucked away - well worth seeking out. Good beer and wine, very pleasant bar staff/publican. Has an 'olde world' very relaxed and friendly feel. Although we didn't eat there on the first night, we saw the meals being brought up - looked good, low prices and large portions, the diners certainly enjoyed their meals. Likely to go back for a meal tomorrow.
M. A. C.Good atmosphere busy with customers warm & friendly. Food hot served well good choices on menu. Downside was beef stroganoff appeared to be made with chunks of stewing steak in gravy,not beef stroganoff in delicious sauce as served in other eating places. Would go again to see if improved.

On my most recent visit my son treated me to Father's Day evening out. We each had a delicious meal and l can recommend the Steak and Ale pie, served with chips and peas. I will certainly go again in the near future.
G. B.Great little pub with amazing food. On our visit the place was crowded but when a table freed up a local couple let us share it so we could have some food. Had the gammon and my partner chose the chilli. No disappointment at any point of our stay.
s. e.It's excellent, it's always good. Food is freshly cooked, well priced and good sized. Staff are always friendly, I cannot find any negatives, it's just a great local pub.

C. B.Great location in Hythe, easy access to Hythe - Southampton ferry and main Hythe Bus stop. Great selection of snacks and light meals - my favourite is the Beef Stroganoff! Shame no sweet menu though!
