What an absolute treat. We went for afternoon tea and it was exceptional. Three generations went and everyone LOVED. The staff couldn't do enough and the tea was AMAZING. We will be going back again soon.

We went there for New Year's eve dinner. The price is affordable for a 5-star hotel. We appreciated the fine cuisine and atmosphere. The terrace was closed due to bad weather, we hope to visit soon for some drinks.

Nice restaurant, clean tidy, staff are attentive ish, some of the dishes we had the chicken supreme which was lovely, just a little too much potato puree, the lamb and gnocchi, this dish was disappointing, the lamb was lovely but there is nothing to bring the gnocchi to it, very little if no sauce at all which left it bland. You need to fix this harbar this is why I gave 3 stars. The bread basket we ordered half the oil and balsamic was spilt inside the basket so we had to ask for another. Slow down staff, if you can see this has happened get another, we shouldn't have to ask. Needs Improvment for where you are in prime position. It could be a lovely menu just needs some improvement on it.

If you want to get a luxury experience while in Southampton or visiting this side of England, I do recommend Harbour on the 6th for food and the Harbour Hotel 5 star to stay. It’s such a lovely place! Very calm, the view it’s amazing, the staff is professional and welcoming and it has a lot of facilities: gym, spa, private parking etc. Moreover, you will love the ship-form of the building.

Have been many times before and will continue to visit. A fantastic venue, in a beautiful location with incredible views. Really good food, great drinks and extremely good service. The staff are welcoming, chatty and courteous. Restaurant, lounge and outdoor terrace means you have different areas to choose from depending on what you need on the night. Couldnt recommend highly enough!

We came for some prehdinner drinks and booked a table which had a view over the marina, it felt really romantic and the choice of drinks was great. It would be great if there was a choice for nibbles as well, I definitely would have gone for olives, nuts, bread etc but these either weren't on the menu or offered. Only negative point was the service was a bit inattentive although when we did manage to get someone's attention it was very friendly!

Used to be a very joyful experience, the food was still great but the customer services went terribly wrong. From model looking eye candies that made you feel like you are in a fairytale to rather repelling and rude waiters? What happened! My friend said she had an allergy and the waiter commented " so the rest of you is normal yeah?" Highly inappropriate. Nobody cared about us wanting to order any drinks we had to wait and chase waiters constantly to get even a little attention. You can be busy but this is not a takeaway shop. People pay higher prices to get a reasonable treatment.

Dissapointed. Went today for afternoon tea to celebrate both my daughters birthdays. The food was lovely although a bit heavy on the sweet stuff. I was very dissapointed having booked many weeks ago asked for a window table, to be shown to one nowhere near a window. My daughter asked if we could move to a window one & pointed out an empty table for 4 (we were 3) and were told no. That table remained empty throughout our whole visit - very dissapointed.

I have been up to this restaurant & bar a few times and it’s always a fantastic experience. The views are amazing from the 6th floor overlooking Ocean Village. The service is always great and the food is delicious. They do a very nice Sunday roast. It’s also a nice spot for a drink with a beautiful sunset.

Harbar was okay. I did not think the food was all that good and the drinks were very expensive! It is a place to be seen and I think that sums it up pretty nicely. You don't go for the food, the drinks or the nice view but rather because it is posh and you want to be seen being posh. We had a bit of a hickup with our food but it has to be said that staff was incredibly helpful and nice! Wouldn't go again, but would recommend the service.

My family took me to lunch to celebrate my birthday. HarBar was perfect - relaxed ambience and wonderful waiting staff who laughed with us and were professional & unflustered by my slightly restless grandchildren. Fab time enjoyed.

We had a afternoon tea in this beautiful place. The bar have a lovely view. They served very fresh and delicious sweets and snacks.Their afternoon tea is little bit expensive and according to the price, they do not have a professional barista! We asked for flat white and they gave us white Americano we told them to change it and for the second time they brought completely cold latte! I took it and show to the manager and she change it for us again but again with Americano!!!

Lovely decor and views, however food is good not amazing. I had the roast chicken and it was a tad dry, the potatoes weren't that tasty and the stuffing ball was super salty! Also they seem to change their prices for our group, sending us another menu and altering the prices of the roasts. So that's why it's a 3* and not a 4*

Found this whilst on a visit to the south coast. The weather at the time was lovely so this place is particularly good as it has wonderful views out to sea. However, the bar does have some kind of roller roof which looks like it can be brought forward if it rains. Food was lovely, the staff are very accommodating, drinks were good and reasonably priced. The bar has a lovely ambience, too. We really enjoyed it here and would highly recommend.

Wow what a gem located within the Southampton Harbour and Spa hotel. We had the pleasure of visiting the 6th floor for breakfast, drinks and dinner. Great views, vibes and food. Would for sure suggest this as a place to visit if in the area.

I have been a couple of times now and the atmosphere, setting, food and service is all of very high quality. I went with a couple of friends recently on a Friday evening and the music was great but it was a tad too loud to have a conversation, though we were sitting pretty close to the DJ. We requested to move tables and this was accommodated with no issues. £3.95 for a pot of hot water poured on mint leaves is a little ridiculous!

Went there with a group of friend from uni to unwind after a very busy period on our masters course, staff were very friendly appart from the lady on the desk who wasnt very welcoming...etc but the rest more than made up for it, going the extra mile offering the women in our group shawls when it got chilly and very polite. Normally I couldn't rate this place highly enough and we have often gone there for afternoon tea or lunch. This visit was a little different... I emailed in advance as we were bringing 2 children and was advised that they do a separate afternoon tea for children consisting of more child friendly sandwiches.. However when we arrived and it was served, all the afternoon teas were the same. I asked if someone could clarify to which our waitress came over explaining "what's you problem, not my fault, I didn't write the email"..her attitude was appalling. She then went over to a colleague and clearly had a giggle at our expense. Someone later came over and explained that what I was informed was not the case and children just got a smaller portion and a lower rate (£10). However if anyone has tried to get a child to eat a wasabi egg sandwich will know ..it's not gonna happen. We booked under the impression the afternoon tea would be kid friendly...it wasn't. The attitude of that particular staff member left much to be desired and what was meant to be a treat for a family member was made awkward and uncomfortable. Needless to say I will hesitate taking people there as a treat in future

Tried this for the first time on a Sunday evening. Quite a lively, busy atmosphere. Only negatives were a bit more polish being needed for some aspects of the service - our group was initially put on different tables; waitresses were a bit too quick asking for our orders and asking how the food was before we'd had a chance to find out ourselves. Plus points were that the food was excellent - really couldn't fault it - and our orders were delivered surprisingly quickly and with no mistakes. A bit more polish to the service/training and I'd give it 5/5.
