Friendly staff and clientele, fine local and national real ales. Good food at reasonable prices available. I prefer the lounge bar but for pool, darts and sports t.v., the public bar is spot on. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Great local pub being updated slowly whilst staying open. It's a wonderful place with great staff and an expanding menu. Limited beer choice but that's no problem. Really good food at a decent price. Well worth visiting. Good atmosphere in both bars.

Proper local pub, separate lounge & public bars. Warm, friendly, down to earth staff. Limited food selection but what they do offer is always excellent. Great little gardens if you want to sit outside. 2 minutes walk from Riverside Park & dog friendly so ideal for refreshments after you've taken your best friend for a walk

Took my old mum for lunch. She is profoundly deaf so asked if they had a quiet area. The young lad found us the perfect table. Food was faultless service impeccable.
