Pizzas are great here, some of the best in Southampton (top quality pizza dough) and always a special on. Dog-friendly and decent selection of beers!

Great micro bar just over the Itchen Bridge in Woolston. Easy to get to by train / bus or even a Voi scooter straight over the bridge as there's a drop off point in the car park opposite. Been many times since opening fully this year with both groups of friends and solo and always found it an extremely welcoming and warm environment - great beers, food and atmosphere. The new menu with freshly cooked homemade pizzas and bao buns (which are worth a visit for alone) is perfect for anyone looking for a snack or someting a little more substantial, and both Maz and Rob are extremely knowledgeable about their beverages and can always recommend a good pint for a 'beer tourist' like myself - who rarely knows what they actually want! Great stock of takeaway cans handpicked from the best breweries around, as well as being dog friendly which is always a plus - 10/10 would recommend.

Dropped in today after a long walk along the water & through the country park. Beer excellent, cask and keg selection varied, interesting and in great condition. Really warm welcome for us and the doggo from Rob the co owner and the other patrons. After all the gravy bones and attention not sure if it's us or the dog who wants to go back more 😂 Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and worth a detour if you're not 🍻 We will be back, Mat, Lou & Indie 🐾

Friendly happy place that tucked away by the waterside Southampton. On a windy rainy day we were welcomed to a live music andwide range of drink. Over 18 policy excludes children. Even though small it didn't feel overcrowded. Clean pleasant toilet.

Excellent service from the friendly couple who run Olaf’s. Nothing is too much trouble. We were offered tasters of various brews before we made our choice. The pizzas which are prepared and cooked on the premises are delicious. I have used the online shop several times to buy wine. They have an excellent selection that I haven’t seen anywhere else. Pay a visit, you won’t be disappointed!

This is an excellent Craft Ale bar with food also available. There are a wide selection of Ales apart from a few staples these ales change weekly. The food is of an extremely high standard and especially considering the quality very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is civilised and welcoming. You will find that Maz and Rob the owners extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about everything that they do. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

From an amazing range of cask and keg, to ciders, wine, spirits, non alcoholic and more every product on sale has had so much thought put into it. As a vegetarian I love the food menu too! I haven't been here for quite a while so was wondering what the new layout looked like. I was glad to see the mural was still there and the new owners were very nice people, it still has the same friendly atmosphere as before. A very enjoyable evening was had.

We recently moved to the area and stumbled across Olaf's Tun just before Christmas. The owner is really friendly and suggested some great beers to try. Since lockdown we have put in a couple of deliveries and they have arrived within the hour! Great people, great beer, great service. What more can you ask for!

A very good experience. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and they vary the beer on an almost daily basis with different specials. They also have cider which is also very good. It is quite a small place but there are different varieties of chairs/sofas with small tables and bar stools at the bar and in good weather the patrons spill out onto the pavement! It is an incredibly popular place with plenty of people visiting whenever they're open. They have good toilet facilities (the ladies having a silver sparkly toilet seat!).

Local place with friendly people. Dogs are allowed there. They serve specialty beers and change them every so often, which is nice. Prices are good too, and they even provide lady supplies and deodorant in the bathroom. I don't really fancy the decorations in the place, the hard light, and the sort of amateur feel, but that may be my personal opinion.

Jump on the bus / train to Woolston on the east side of Southampton, now an Oasis of good fresh beer in what was a bit of a desert. I'll be back soon, well done all!

Lovely micropub in Woolston.We popped in for a couple of beers before Sunday dinner - it's a very sparely furnished space, with a few tables and and benches with stools and chairs.Probably seats about 30.Atmosphere is very laid back and friendly , and the co-owners and their respective spouses are very knowledgable and like to come and chat if they are not too busy.Range of beers is excellent , lots of fairly local brews along with some from as far as Norway.All kept well.This is obviously a pub that is owned by people who have a passion for good real craft beers , and will become a regular haunt for me
