M. W.A nice friendly local with a public bar and sports bar sides. Always a great atmosphere and very reasonable priced drinks. Popped in on Friday evening after not going here for years, got a friendly welcome as ever.
A. E.A proper locals pub, with a good atmosphere. Could do with a few ales to choose from and would get a 4 star easily. Under new management we were told and will visit again.

L. C.Had the best time even though it was after my grandads funeral. They are very friendly & killer pool cheered us all up. Will deffo go back there again. Is a good old days pub where the music is how its meant to be.... the atmosphere & locals are amazing also. I give it 1000 out of 10 xxxx
S. P.1930s style roadside pub in a quiet, almost rural area just north of Woolston. No cask ales and no food. Traditional two room layout. Feels like a proper pub with local interest pictures on the walls. Nice view out the window at the green and the church. It's fine as a local boozer for a chat with the lads, but without decent beer and food, and little else to pull the interest, it's not a pub that's likely to get me going there often, and there's little to recommend, unless you happen to live locally, and like keg beers. Then it's fine.
J. P.Lovely local pub .staff our lovely friendly landlord and landlady so nice .it's nice you always feel welcome there the regulars make you welcome at all times juke box pool table .it's so nice as never no trouble there so you can enjoy a great night out with no worries .
V. R.Old fashioned and kitsch. Not a great range of beers and only takes cash, but is a great traditional old boozer. Pool table and darts board.
