Do love coming out for meals here! Or just chilling in the evening with drinks and friends. Food has always been tasty and the cocktails are yummy! Friendly and helpful staff, awesome prices. One day I'll try the £50 a shot rum on the menu to see just how good it is!

Loved this bar👍 had a very relaxed feel to it looked great inside and the music was perfect definitely made you feel like you were in Cuba. The prices were ok but typical of town bar prices now with 2 cocktails costing around £18 but they did taste good and were worth the money!. Very friendly staff at the bar and the service was quick. There completely contactless on payments which makes things easier and is normal now. A nice relaxed bar to go to on its own or as part of a night in town.

I am a regular at 'RevDeCuba'. I love the drink, food and atmosphere. The live band or musician can be seen playing on days throughout the week. 2 for 1 on cocktails and great prices when booking for a large party of people 10 or more. Yum yum yum!!

First visit today, happy hour, had 2 of the Mangon cocktails made by Maria. Tasted lovely, well made and packed a punch. Went for the tapas 3 for £14. We had Halloumi tacos, chicken and melted cheese quesadillas and the Jerk Fried Chicken with a side of cheesy Cuban fries. Food was totally delicious, so flavoursome tasty but not too spicy. We will definitely be returning

Beautiful decor makes you feel like you really could be in the Caribbean. Brilliant cocktail menu, all expertly made and taste fantastic, some really high quality rum and ingredients. Service could be quicker (a 20min wait for two cocktails seems excessive). Booking highly recommended if eating, but you should be able to walk in for drinks.

Had drinks there a few times and thiught it would be a great place to come for food and drinks on my birthday. Umm not really.. the food was ok- abit too spicy, sweet potato fries were abit hard and cold. Drinks were so good though. The thing that really let it done was the waiter- he didn't show us any interest at all even when taking our order. The only thing he said was the cocktails are 2 for 1 until 7 so made the most of it that way. He left us alone and didn't really want to come over and check in on us. Didn't ask us if we wanted anything extra after placing our order for mains. Tried to get his attention and struggled as a group of his friends came in and started being loud and drinking from the bar. The waiter laughed and chatted with them and I could tell that the barman was abit annoyed as orders kept coming in. The barman had to send us one drink orders across and was the most chatty of the pair. At times other people wanted to place an order and the barman told the waiter about it but service was slow. It made the experience very underwhelming. It wasn't that busy, and they even turnt people away at the door for some reason. Won't really want to rush back.

I went to this place for new year celebrations and I genuinely had a wonderful time. Do not let the ground floor put you off. It may seem quiet, but that's mostly a sit down area for the cocktail bar (very lovely drinks, but quite pricey - but you get what you pay for). The fun is on the first floor, with a lively dance floor. There was a live band there when I went, but I'm not sure how frequent they are; but they certainly add their Latin flair to the dance atmopshere. And if you are staying out late, there is a convenient queue of taxis right outside the front door. Definitely worth it for that one decent night out.

The food and the drinks are always great. The only thing stopping me giving five stars is that when there's live music, it can be a bit too loud for conversation. I went around 6:30pm a couple of weeks back for dinner, and it's not that the musicians were bad, they were just so loud my friends and I had to shout to hear each other! I visited Revolucion de Cuba with my girlfriend on Friday night for food and drinks. I ordered tapas to start and the burger royale for main, it was delicious and the meat was very tinder. 4 pints of blue moon washed down very nicely too :) Will be returning. The Portuguese manager was very attentive and looked after us all evening, alongside a girl called Grace.

One of the best eateries in Southampton for small and large plates. tapas menu has great offerings, quesadillas are light and fresh, iberia croquets are creamy and crispy, chocolate brownie was the gooeyest I've had. This was our second visit, first visit was brilliant. This visit was for my birthday. Most of the food was cold. And was brought over before we got any cutlery and had to ask for it. A group of us went here for Valentines and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service - our waiters were Victor and Chris and they were really sweet and friendly! However, the food and drinks were very average, the food was bland and the drinks were not strong enough.. the price of the food and drinks were quite expensive considering there was no flavour to anything.

Cocktails are the best in town and in affordable price. People working there do their best to be friendly. They also have live music. Restaurant and bar are really clean and looked after. The only minus to me is the time you have to wait for your food as It comes really late. Normal time is over 1 hour which is a bit frustrating if you go there hungry. Peckish wouldn't mind the wait as food is delicious.

Great place but really sad that now you have to wear a mask when at door but no mask when sitting down, no 2 m distance between tables, some waiters not wearing masks...weird atmosphere. It is a beautiful, festive venue. All of our guests loved it! Special shout out to Louis and Holly who were so helpful and even kept notes of how to improve from night to night. With options over 3 floors, including a live band, night club and cocktail lounge I like this place. Food is OK but nothing amazing. Would recommend over most bars in Southampton TBH but bar staff are clearly hard to find as there is usually a long wait for service and drinks here are pricey. Worth a visit and see what you think. Far better than anything else in the immediate vicinity

I came into Revolution Cuba in Southampton city centre at the weekend for the first time and it’s awesome! The decor is cool and fits with the restaurant and the food was amazing. Me and my family had a load of tapas, I had the Albondigas meatballs, tacos and Chorizo and they were brilliant and we didn’t have to wait long. We had loads of different cocktails, (some on fire!) and they tasted and looked amazing. We were served by a guy called Chandler (he let us call him Bing to our amusement!) and he was brilliant, cannot fault! He took us through the food and drinks menus and really knew his stuff recommending cocktails and tapas. He asked us what kind of experience we were after and we wanted to have a fun time and a laugh, and that is exactly what we got! The band was amazing and he got us some maracas and Hawaiian necklaces that kept us entertained! He really looked after us, every time we needed something he was there, we never had empty glasses, he gave us free tortilla chips to nibble on while we waited for food and kept us updated on when our tapas would be ready. Rarely have I been to a restaurant that is as fun, efficient or exciting as this. We will 100% be back for Chandler Bing and recommending to everyone we know! 5 stars, 10/10, A*, Awesome Awesome Awesome!!!!

A group of 20 of us went here for bottomless brunch this Saturday and i'd definitely recommend it! The food was a mix bag. Some of us said it was pretty good and a some of us found it all a bit too salty. Thankfully we wasn't there for the food and the drinks came out pretty fast thanks to Kate being an absolute diamond! Food portuins, well, for some can be too expensive for the suze, especially appetizers, but the taste is really good. Upstairs is sone space for dancing, but people are not very keen to.. The chairs however leave something to be desired especailly the string ones very uncomfortable to be sat in while eating. Ordered a drink not Long before 1am (last orders) then get told by the rude bouncers to get out literally after being served. They were also rowing with another group of ladies who had a full drink, and were told to get out again, in a disgusting rude manner. Don't serve alcohol until 1am if you expect people to drink up within 5 minutes of buying it!! (Especially at those prices!) I think you need to have words with your staff and teach them to respect women before foul mouthing like that!
