I went to Rita's on a Sunday afternoon to have a roast and I can only say the most wonderful things! The meat (chicken) was so soft that almost melted in my mouth, the potatoes were the best I have ever had, the Yorkshire pudding was handmade and the Cauliflower cheese was so creamy and tasty. Finally the portions were just amazing! I struggled really hard to finish my food because it was so well served. The staff was respectful, caring and always checking if we needed anything. We had an amazing time and it was worth every penny! Well done to everyone!! ;) And thank you so much!

Came here for the Queens Jubilee celebrations - 03/06/2022. The atmosphere was fantastic! We had the BBQ which was way too much food for 2 but was really tasty and the presentation was top notch. The staff were fantastic! We moved tables twice - once because we decided to eat so wanted a proper table and then it started to rain so we wanted to go inside. The staff were more than accommodating and even told us to leave everything and they'd bring it all inside for us which they did. We felt the service was better than some 5 star hotels. Very reasonably priced given the quality of the food, drinks and service. We'll definitely be going back!

Cocktails !!! That's what you're coming here for. Immaculately made, eclectic yet go-well-together ingredients, chic presentation and absolutely delicious. They are £££ but worth it ! We had the bourbon (yum!) Ambience is very classy and matches the vine of the people in there - young and stylish. We only had the small plates - the truffle fries will surely be tried again ! Worth a stop in .

I loved the vibe in this bar and all the staff were so friendly. Being from London I have my pic of some amazing places to drink as well as some amazing bars to hang out in. This was my first time at Rita’s in Southampton and it was just a brilliant night. It was nice to meet the owners who were very friendly and welcoming, the cocktails were amazing and a special shout out to Nelson, the bar manager; he now has pride and place of making the best chilli margarita that I have had in the UK. His cocktail making ability and his personality made the night a brilliant one. If you’re ever at Rita’s, ask for Nelson because he is the man!

Had a blast and will definitely go again soon. The service was excellent and we really enjoyed the ambience. We had bao buns, flat iron steak, and chorizo croquettes. All was great but the truffle oil and parmesan chips were truly out of this world. Cocktails on point, had the Coleman and my friend an espresso martini. Huge huge plus for me, the open table booking system.

Lovely bar, nice to have something in Southampton that’s a little bit more special. The staff were friendly and super helpful and the food was really good quality. Would make a perfect venue for a girls night or a special island occasion. The little touches are just lovely. Highly recommend and can’t wait to have an excuse to return.

Absolutely love Rita’s & the decor & Ambiance. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Sunday Roast 😋defo one of the best we’ve had ! Crispy roast potatoes and perfectly roasted meats. Rita’s is a gorgeous new bar and restaurant in Southampton, the interior is lovely and the staff are friendly. I’m impressed with the cocktails, all freshly prepared and incredible attention to detail. There is something to suit everyone’s taste, the drinks menu is vast. The food is delicious, I have now enjoyed brunch, afternoon tea and some of their small plates selection, all amazing. I love this new addition to Southampton and wish them the very best.

Absolutely my favourite place in Southampton a very classy place . Extremely friendly staff and owners . Large selection of high end drinks and the cocktails are lovely. They have some new vodkas coming soon can't wait to try them out . One bit of advise book your table even for drinks as its very popular .

This is a beautiful venue, with very bougie decor.The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. All cocktails and food were made to an excellent standard by professionals, that have perfected their skills and knowledge within their industry. Definitely dress to impress, as this is a classy cocktail bar and somewhere you would be very happy, to take friends and family to wine and dine. This is just what southampton needed! Somewhere with sophistication, where you can unwind and enjoy yourselves. I cannot wait to visit again soon.

I will give 5 stars because I know how much reviews can effect a new business ......however really unhappy with service charge and to find out the staff don't get it , I ended up tipping the nice waitress separate and paid 9 pound (10%) on top of my already overpriced bill . Cocktails were average for 10 pound each. Reason I didn't want to put 1 star is the pure fact that this business only has 2 reviews and I'd bring it right down . Meal for two is about 100 pound with a drink each. Nice staff though but to find out the service charge goes straight in the business pocket is snakey behaviour.

Went to Rita's this evening and the service was excellent especially by Olivia. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere made you feel like you were abroad on holiday. Rita's Cocktail Bar - Is classy & cool. We were lucky enough to go to the opening night and based on what we experienced ,will now be our "Southampton go to bar" We were greeted buy two well presented, polite doormen. Once in (and adhering to Covid rules) we were taken to our seats. Drinks menu's are provided and our order was taken. Now, bearing in mind it was opening night and was extremely busy our drinks were with us in a timely manner. So first impressions. . . A very welcoming, classy yet cool bar, well thought layout, gorgeous artwork & decor. The team behind the bar were immaculately turned out as were the front of house team. The owners/management were doing exactly as you would expect for a new venue and mingling whilst directing. So above is my (been in the trade for years review) Below is my (I am just a guest review) Loved it, amazing drinks and unlike some bars that charge the earth for a cocktail you barely taste the alcohol, Rita's cocktails are smooth, punchy, quality and presented really nicely too. A great mix of ages and a safe feeling, really good music, fun happy staff and well organised. Defininately a must try for anyone that would like to get away from the "standard" bar! We wish them well with Rita's bar and looking forward to spending a few happy "non school nights" there.

Nice place and more party vibes. Over priced drinks though. We ordered 4 jäger bombs and they said they didn’t serve them so could do 4 shots of jäger and 1 redbull but charged us 6.50 per shot. Seemed a lot to me. So we were only there an hour and a half and our bill was £97!! Probs won’t go back.

Teething issues. Cocktails not great, ingredients missed out (did get a replacement). Venue gorgeous. May visit again but not anytime soon. Could take some tips from Ruby's.
