We had a Groupon voucher for a beer and a hotdog... lovely quick bite to eat. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Food was served fast and hot. The pretzel was also delicious. Will be returning.

Really great beer and cocktails! We Ordered the mixed platter for 4 which was a solid size but not huge portion size if you're big eaters. 3 of us took it down! The Sausages were definitely the best part. The Schnitzels were solid too but the sausages pack so much flavour and stand out. Unfortunately they didn't have dessert in stock but hopefully was a one off day. Made up for by the nice chilled atmosphere with some love football on the TVs and nice staff!

When I enter I always think its a cold place, but I get a beer, settle and realise it's a friendly and genuine place, with (I joke not) great food. Amazing value and fabulous flavours for a good price. And the beer is pretty damn good too.

Wow what a great find. I came here after work and just caught happy hour. The beer selection is fantastic as you would expect but the star of the show are their sausages. The bratwurst and selections are fantastic with a cold lager. The menu is resonable priced and good value for money. The place is very well decorated and good ambiance. They have sports one two screens but I would not call it a sports bar. Their is some outdoor seating too but limited to two benches on the pavement. I was allowed to bring my dog in with me which was a great bonus and th staff were very helpful. Special mention to Matthew who helped me choose a drink and food pairing.

If you like your lager, look no further. Superb German bar and the sausages were a real treat. Can be a bit rowdy, but that's part of the great atmosphere.

Had an enjoyable evening here with some friends. Went on my wife's recommendation, as she'd been with her friends. The only thing she hadn't liked had been unfriendly staff, unfortunately that was the same with my experience. The place itself is great but the staff are miserable and it does slightly detract from the overall experience. The beer is really good and a fiver for the house lager in a 2 pint stein, during happy hour, is a bargain. I tried a few of the other beers as well and really enjoyed them. The four of us shared the sausage and schnitzel platter which was good value, not a huge amount of food but enough to keep us happy as we were drinking. The schnitzels were really tasty. Overall and enjoyable experience, with good beer, good food and I would definitely go back..... hopefully the staff were having an off night.

We ordered a strudel and got served some sort of a weird pie in a heavy non-lawyered pastry. When the waitress asked if it was ok I told her that it was except for it wasn’t a strudel. She lectured us that there were different types of strudels. There is no strudel like the one in Stein Garten anywhere else. I’m Hungarian, I should know. Please stop selling weird stuff a strudel.

Great place to visit if you are looking for somewhere different to go. The sausages are very tasty and reasonably priced. Good selection of German beer and cider. Happy hour takes place Sunday-Thursday 5-7pm where a pint will cost you £2.50 - you'll find it hard to beat that price elsewhere! Staff friendly with quick service. I image this is a great place for groups to visit. Wish we had one locally Cheers! 🍻

Pretty unique place with a chilled atmosphere. Gotta love the huge pint glasses. Plenty of seats inside and a few benches outside the front for sitting outdoor in the summer heat. The circus style canopy roof thing inside gives it a cool quirky decor.

Enjoyed coming here, beer is good and atmosphere is fun. Will say it's very hit or miss on quality of service depending on which staff are on. Couple times in a row now have gotten refused 'happy hour' deals and prices with 3/4 mins to spare on the clock...by the same lady. Even after pointing to the great big clock they have on the wall in the bar. Seemed pretty petty on both occasions. Minor inconvenience sure, and obviously their preogative if they really mean "happy from 5 - 6:55" but certainly detracts from the jolly German vibe.

Food is incredibly good and is a great place if you have had a long day and just want to chill and eat some sausages & mash. A great place overall and a great atmosphere. You could even try to challenge your eating skills by taking on the eating challenge where you have to eat this massive hotdog filled to the brim with onions and sauce.

Superb. We found this place reminded us of our real Oktoberfest experience. The beers are genuine, though the big names are of course bottled and therefore a bit pricey. The draft beers are good and pretty good value. The food is surprisingly good value. The platters are more than enough for two, really good quality and incredibly good value. There's a tray of five 1/3 pint beers if you can't choose between them.

Absolutely stellar place to find and drink. For everything German this is your one stop shop for all things edible. There's loads of drinks to choose from and all at pretty reasonable prices. I myself had the mixed grill and it was almost too much to handle. Got me a nice big stein to tip things off. Nice friendly staff and very quick service times too.

Great choice of beer, but I personally drank cider as I don't like beer, it also had live sports on (not really for me either). But they did have a great menu with one of the best bratwurst I've ever had, and it was very cheap. Oh and parking nearby that was 2 quid for the rest of the night after 6 pm. I came from Portsmouth on a staff night out

What a wonderful place to go. I have only been here a handful of times, but each time it has been enjoyable. Their selection of German sausages were mouthwatering, which compliments the steins well, now I've never been to Germany so can't say how authentic the food is, but I can say that I enjoyed my food/visit and would go again.

Visited with my partner with a Groupon voucher for lunch and got a great meal for a nice price. Staff were friendly. The restaurant was a bit empty, but that is to be expected for lunch times. Despite this the atmosphere was not dead or awkward. Would recommend.

Been here a fair few times before. Most recently as part of my stag do. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food and beer is delicious and very good portions for the price. As it was my stag do, the owner gave our table a free shot each and gave me a free Jager bomb. Amazing place.

Great Christmas meal with work. The food was delicious, especially for a set menu. The DJ after dinner was exactly to my taste, but unfortunately too loud for my mother. Little hats, masks and party poppers were a nice tough, the hooters might have been a little unwise for slightly drunken party-goers! Would recommend.

In addition the prices are reasonable! (Original) Un peu d'Allemagne en Angleterre. Super lieu très convivial où l'on partage les tables, où la bière Hefeweisen (bière typique légèrement) coule à flot et où l'on mange des saucisses allemandes. En plus les prix sont raisonnables !

The spaetzle were also more like macaroni cheese. Otherwise a good pub with good portions. (Original) Sehr freundliche Bedienung und nett eingerichtet. Nicht so schön fänden wir, dass das Bier ein bisschen verwässert war. Die Weiswürste waren angebraten - nicht erwärmt wie sonst üblich. Die Spätzle waren auch eher Macaroni Cheese. Ansonsten ein guter Pub mit guten Portionen.
