Amazing pub. Super friendly and one of the best beer gardens

I love this little local pub so much. Bar staff are always friendly, the pub landlords are welcoming and kind and always give our dogs treats when we come in. The beer garden is a sun trap and you can just sit in it and not feel like you're so close to Southampton city centre.

We had our works xmas do here last saturday, it was fantastic, Pam and the team put on a lovely spread of food, live music was great, lovely atmosphere, I love this brilliant local pub. PS Some of Robs jokes were a bit dodgy!!! Many thanks to everyone, and Merry Xmas.

I love this quiet little back street community pub!! I've many fond memories from golden days many moons ago as a kid in the lovely beer garden on a hot summers evening sipping Coca-cola from a straw and munching on Bovril Crisps! Fantastic pub very friendly barman that was great at entertaining the little ones too! Typical local friendly regulars great selection on tap and events like pub quizes and such and beer/ cider festivals through the summer. Much thanks from your friends at the Titanic :)

So far, so awesome. If you love real ale in top condition this is the place to be. Fantastic garden too apparently. They have individual table lights! A very clean smelling pub, unusual.
