It's great a close relative lives there and it brings joy to many people! It has many TVs and Games and many different drinks to chose frome very nice staff Phil Merriott is best he works really hard!

This pub used to have a bad name. Love it now under the new people. Very chilled mid week. Old Rosie perfect and cost of beer excellent

A year or so since I last reviewed this pub and the new management have improved this pub so much. Always a good atmosphere with friendly bar staff, good clean facilities, great music/entertainment, dart matches, meat draws held, dominoes, crib played and literally all football matches on the many TV's as well as fantastic drink offers. Spoilt for choice! An all round friendly local!

Bar staff (leanne who iv had the pleasure to work with and kerry and hubby + obviously lady of the manner lil princess who i had the pleasure to snuggle with thank you parents) excepts you for who you are and then still says hello in a way you want to be treated until u do not deserve it!!, if needed ! Cross Keys has hardly changed in 35 years, ideally situated in close proximity to a Chinese, Indian, Chippy, Taxi Rank and Bus Stop, even Asda is only 5 metres from the back gate. Not a bad selection of Ales, could do with a few more though, misses is happy with their Gin though.

Dont know what the past reviews are on about. Moved into the town a few weeks ago. Went in fir pint after work and stayed all evening. Nice and busy at weekends. Good bar staff. Nice atmosphere. Fast pool table. All is good in the hood.

Good pub with a good atmosphere, fair prices are a little below what you pay in some other pubs in totton. Pool table and darts board. Comfortable seating. Serves pub grub.

it appears to me that history under different management maybe has tarred this pub with a bad reputation. Maybe past reviews are that of bitter ex licencee`s wishing to see its demise,I don't know, however past reviews I have read about the Keys are not really painting a true picture of this pub.. At present this pub is managed by a lovely couple Simon & Wendy ,they have poss been there now2/3 years & hasn't seen much in the way of anti social behaviour.The Keys can boast to be Tottons Exclusive Sports Bar offering all the major sporting events on the big screen as well as the various flat screen tv`s all around the bar often seeing this pub very busy always appearing to have pleasant clientel. This venue by kind permission of Simon & Wendy despite not offering much in the way of entertainment in the past now hosts my KARAOKE NIGHT once a fortnight on a Friday.. "Its PARTY night" To my surprise the pub does has doormen on the night but they probably earn their keep more collecting the occasional glass or tending to a spilt pint on the pool table,but its reassuring to know that they are there in the event some half wit has had a shandy to many & all of a sudden thinks he`s "Rambo",However the reason they are there is down to a licencing requirement & by no means due to an image of unsavoury clientel as possibly portraited in previous history.Always a great atmosphere,with any signs of trouble brewing quickly defused & removed from the building..GREAT PUB GREAT PRICES GREAT PEOPLE,a pub that often has animosity from its near by rivals (ignore all negative comments)
