A really great friendly local. The Landlord , landlady and bar staff are always welcoming. The beer is well kept & the occasional food including freshly made pies , scotch eggs & sausage rolls is fantastic. The pub is well kept & the facilities always spotless. All in all by far the best pub in the area.

Infrequent visitor as I don't live close.. its near a friend's house, however every time j visit I find a great selection of well-kept real ales in a warm local pub..

Small but perfectly formed drinking establishment. A friendly landlord, nice and cosy atmosphere. Good selection of real ales. In non Covid times I tend to visit Wednesdays for the regular quiz which is both entertaining and informative.

Always a really good pint no matter what you drink. Friendly staff, no waiting around. and to top the lot there is a really good group of people that drink here. Amazing selection of Spirits, Larger and Ales. Nice seating area outside and lots of cosy places to sit inside. very nice pub for summer and winter.

Fantastic friendly little pub. I am happy to go out of my way to pop in for a drink as you never feel like you are drinking alone! A couple of ciders, good rotation of ales and beer, a decent selection of gins and a weekly quiz and meat draw!

Great little pub in the heart of Southampton. Great selection of ales and a very welcoming and homely feel. Staff are very friendly. Ideal place for a quiet drink with friends. They also have a weekly quiz night which is great and a dart board for those so inclined.

The landlady is very welcoming and makes great Scotch Eggs and Pies on a Friday. The staff are very nice and the regulars are friendly. Overall the pub has a great atmosphere. They have two great dogs who sometimes are allowed out into the pub.

Just had a haggis home made scotch egg washed down with 1/2 lager. Bloody fantastic. Great pub with very friendly service. If you like real ales this is the place to be. It deserves more than 5 stars in my opinion.

Fantastic little gem in the outskirts of Southampton, landlord doesn’t put up with any rubbish, but you can still have a good laugh! Real ale very well kept, so well you can see through the glass! Definitely worth going out of your way for a visit!

The landlady is fantastic. She is efficient behind the bar and friendly. She is also an excellent cook. She cooks great pies and scotch eggs, available on Fridays. The bar staff is also very good, both the Super Boy and Bequa.

Andy and his wife are lovely owners of The Park Inn, they do amazing beer and cider along side fun quiz nights, Tuesdays, Sundays are great evening if you like quizs. I will always join in with these events and being with family having quality time. Great pub really reconmend vistiting.

Best pub in Shirley area. I have been going to this pub since the early 1980s when it became a Wadworths house. I live nearby after a long absence from England. The refurbishment has been done well and improved the pub so much. Wadworths ale is among the best in England. Andy and Ceri are great hosts. It's a true community pub, many of my friends have been going here for decades.

Lovely place in an old residential area of Shirley serving Wadworths ales. Always made welcome, even when accompanied by a wet Beagle on rainy nights. Occasionally do a Scotch Egg and beer lunchtime on a friday...good fun.

The Park Inn is easily the best pub in the area. It has a good selection of real ales and being situated a bit of the beaten track it trends to be a bit quieter than most pubs. It also doesn't rely on cheap promotions to get people through the door!

A bit spit 'n' sawdust (a proper locals' pub) but the bartender was friendly, the bar snacks were homemade (pork scratchings!) and the beer was great. Cracking local pub.
