Had two meals here now and both have been excellent. So much more than "pub grub". Whenever a restaurant doesn't offer you every dish known to man, you know that's a good sign! The best quality ingredients, cooked and presented beautifully. The staff are always friendly and polite and don't constantly ask "Is everything ok?"

Had a great meal, 4 of us went, all had something different - ribs, pie, belly pork and crispy beef salad (as a main) all first class, wish i had chosen the ribs as that looked best of all. Staff were friendly and service was quick, but not rushed.

Delightful pub in the countryside. Food was fantastic, i had the fish and chips, best chips I've ever had!! Staff were friendly and good social distancing measures in place if you are concerned about that bit of life nowadays. My friend had the pork belly which you can just see in the picture.

My friend and I had lunch here and what a find,a very warm and friendly welcome by the owners,decor was excellent . Ordering food was easy set a tab found a table and had a lovely meal followed by coffee.The toilets were very clean and odour free,some pubs are NOT THIS made a refreshing change an item that should be mentioned in reviews . Enormous garden for young children to enjoy highly recommend,not over priced great quality and service

Really tasty meal, they were thankfully able to fit us in on Father’s Day without a reservation! I had lamb sausages and mash, the rest of my party had the Cajun pork and we found it all delicious. Friendly, welcoming staff. Much better than your average “pub grub”.

Met some friends for a wonderful meal here earlier this week. Food was lovely and really big portions, which explains the high prices (more than what you’d expect to pay for a pub meal) but we didn’t mind too much. The biscoff cheesecake in particular was to die for! Beautiful outdoor setting and the service was top notch, especially the landlord who made us feel very welcome. I will for sure be back many times and will recommend to friends and family.

Omg I went here last night for the first time amazing , the staff are so warm and friendly, being a vegetarian is not always easy when choosing food because they tend to give us the same things and most of the time it tastes like cardboard But last night I had some of the best food I’ve tasted in a long time It was so delicious I didn’t want it to end and there was so much choice And it was a waiter that recommended it From the starter to the desert I would give this pub first class in every area a wonderful.

I recently had the steak pie at the Robin Hood Pub, it filled my heart with delight and brought sunshine into my life. My two friends had cheesy chips as they are meer peasants. Pleasantly surprised. Not sure we should have been as it had been recommended. Lovely pub like feel to the place. The food and service was excellent and would definitely go back again. We needed a Steak and Chips fix: Staff extremely polite, attentive and friendly. The 8oz rib eye steaks hit the spot and were medium-cooked to near perfection, minor niggle was chips not quite to our liking and probably attributable to the potatoes. Lovely atmosphere, almost faultless experience, great place to eat, will definitely go again.

First visit back since covid hit. So I booked a table with friends for dinner. Nice to see they have removed a few tables to make it covid secure. Menus are now only on the boards to avoid handling multiple bits of paper. This made it a little tricky when ordering wine but to be fair, I didn't ask for a wine list. Staff were all wearing masks and were very helpful. Food was excellent, as always

This is a family favourite of ours. you're always guaranteed good food, great wine and friendly customer service. There's a decent-sized menu with lots to choose from. Lovely beer garden for the summer months and warm and cosy inside during the winter. It is ALWAYS busy, even mid-week, so you should definitely book a table.

First visit yesterday Sunday 2nd June Probably the best Roast we've had. 6 of us dined, 2 children and grandparents. All of us thought the food was great. The garden is one of the biggest pub gardens we've ever been too. The kids loved little ponies in the field next door. We will definitely be back .

Very friendly staff and very good food, with excellent wine. My only criticism, a very minor be, was the custard served with the crumble, as it was far too thick and didn't pour from the pot. In all other respects, a great place to dine and I will definitely return

Turned on a bank holiday Saturday without a booking. They could not have been more accommodating, finding us a space on the sofa. The meal was first class and the beer tasty. All served with a smile and despite the fact that they were very busy in good time.

I love this pub. I arranged a surprise 40th for my wife here with 40 people coming. All the food was out without a hitch and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The beer garden is superb for the kids with a massive garden area they can play football in etc and keep themselves amused. Thank you very much.

5 Stars because: great food, nice beer (try the black sheep), fair prices. Good SD protocols in place. Some of the staff seemed a bit, well, unhappy. I hope Greene King are treating them well. On a sunny day try the lovely beer garden out the back. Found the Robin Hood on the main road through Durley. Enjoy !

Great fresh home cooked food with a varied menu. The pub has a cosy atmosphere with real fires in the winter months. In the summer months you can sit outside in the beer garden and there is a good play area for the children. Reservations recommended.

Really amazing food. Specials were delicious, I had the boar, chorizo and black pudding skewers, and the pork belly main. Absolutely gorgeous food, really special and well done, the dauphineous potatoes were excellent, as were the black pudding bonbons. Fantastic, would 100% recommend! The Robin Hood is a great local pub. It's usually bustling with people and the service is very friendly. The food is good quality and good value. It can sometimes take a while for the food to arrive, bit it's worth the wait. A good selection of starters, mains and desserts. There's an outdoor area, but they don't always serve food out there

Not much of a drinking pub, although their selection is quite good, its all about the food - book in advance! Been here about 20 times. Best pub food I've ever eaten by a mile. Puts most restaurants to shame too. Melt in your mouth meat. A personal favourite. Enjoy!

(Translated) Recommended!!! Whenever we are in England in beautiful Bishops Waltham, we eat at Robin Hood with the family. It is advisable to reserve a table in advance. The food is beautifully presented on the plates and tastes wonderful. The waitresses are very nice. The pub is nicely decorated, tidy and clean. Access is at ground level, making it suitable for prams and wheelchairs. There are enough parking spaces. (Original) Empfehlenswert!!! Wann immer wir in England im schönen Bishops Waltham sind, gehen wir mit der Familie im Robin Hood essen. Einen Tisch vorab zu reservieren ist hier angebracht. Das Essen ist sehr nett auf den Tellern angerichtet und schmeckt wunderbar. Die Bedienungen sind sehr nett. Das Pub ist schön eingerichtet, ordentlich und sauber. Der Zugang ist ebenerdig, also für Kinderwagen und Rollstühle geeignet. Parkplätze sind genügend vorhanden.
