Nice pub went as a party of 10 for a meal. The meal was nice looking and bit expensive but most of our party had to return some foods and drinks. I chose steak beautifully cooked chips under cooked and my seasonal veg nearly raw. Pudding was lovely looking I didn't have any as no dairy or egg free choices most of the table chose hot chocolate but unfortunately only 1 got the chocolate drink the rest ended up with hot milk. The service was great and they were apologetic but didn't offer a discount to anyone for the constant returns of food or beverage. And we were the only table eating?

Spotlessly clean. Nice staff. A lovely big breakfast so reasonably priced with fried bread. On this occasion, the bacon and mushrooms were overcooked hence only 4 stars. I'm sure this was unfirtunate so I would definitely go again

Lovely pub, very clean and tidy staff are very nice and good choice of drinks. Also does food, but we didnt eat so can not comment on that, but the menu looked good. Has a garden area with a small play area for kids. All in all i would definatly visit again. Car park isn't massive but there is on road parking all around.

Amazing roast dinner the best I have ever eaten out! Very reasonable and the small roast was perfect for me such a great option to offer. Great play park for kids too and coffee lovely. Staff so friendly. We will definitely be back!

Couldn't rate them more highly enough on informing the staff that I have allergies they took it very seriously and created a dish that I could eat without being worried whether there where any seasonings or anything else that would react with me. Attended a family function here. Large garden and bar. Pub and toilets was immaculately clean, staff friendly a good selection on drinks at a fair price. Buffet was brilliant we couldn’t eat it all some ordered off the main menu which was also excellent value. Couldn’t recommend enough, want to return for a burger as they looked fabulous. A beautiful walk around the nature reserve just to the left of the pub.

We popped along just before a walk today with the dogs and kids, we had told friends of ours about Sue Moos and wanted to grab and ice cream, we had arrived 5 mins after they closed but the staff were so wonderful and kind they did us all up ice creams and even yummy meaty treats for the dogs... it was brilliant service and hugely appreciated. Thank you so much ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A little bit tired inside but cheerful enough. The toilets really let this place down though. The disabled toilet was absolutely covered in water (maybe not all water) and so was the gents. A quick check from staff and a clean up would do wonders to make this place more inviting.

I stopped here for a pint after a long walk in hot weather. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the pint good and the sit down was much appreciated! It seems to be in the middle of a residential area away from the main road. Probably not worth a special journey, but worthy of a small detour if you're already in the area.

Had our Christmas meal here last night ...a table of twenty. All the food served was piping hot,on time and tasted incredible. I had the lamb shank,it just melts in the mouth. Not one complaint from the entire table ,in fact every one of us said how good it was...well done guys ,not easy to serve a table that big 👏

Unexpected quick late lunch for grandons birthday. 5 of us. It was very quiet. The young ladies serving, knowledgeable and helpful. Holding the order until a late arrival turned up.The food was good tasty pub grub. Enough to fill up a grown man for a reasonable price. The salad that l had with haloumi was lovely and fresh. Cannot rate this pub highly enough!! Had Sunday lunch here with my partner and dog and the food was amazing! Staff so welcoming, friendly and attentive. It was absolutely packed but they put a table aside for us last minute when we called. Huge praise to the landlords, they've definitely got it right! First visit and would 100% recommend and return. Thank you to the amazing staff, every single one of you are absolutely lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our delicious, huge roast dinners! They even spoiled the dog with cuddles and treats despite being rushed off their feet 😊

What a wonderful warm welcome. Popped in for a quick drink , first time reunion for me and my siblings in about 30 years. It is now nice and bright and looks and feels very welcoming. My wife and I went to the Salmon Leap last year in the fall with my mother for Sunday lunch, 3 times. We were visiting from Canada and ate there with friends and family several times, eating of the menu. The Sunday lunch and the meals of the menu were really tasty and good value, the staff was efficient and friendly. We returned again this fall with COVID in full force. Again we visited the Salmon leap for Sunday lunch and in the week several times to eat of the menu or just for drinks. Not only were we once again impressed with the food and service, but the steps the owners and staff went to protect their patrons. I strongly recommend The Salmon Leap if you want a good meal with friendly staff in a safe environment.

Very lively local pub with welcoming atmosphere, great food and helpful staff. They have a diverse selection of dishes and it was worth the wait. A local recommended the pork belly and it did not disappoint. Garden not quite as smart as inside but has plenty of seating, a large bouncy castle and a playhouse.

A great place to refresh your thirst especially if you fancy some good valued and simple food. Sunday roasts are legendary as they are well proportioned, tasty and excellent value. Being a dog friendly pub also makes it an ideal place to end a walk along the Test Way. There is plenty of room in the garden for children to play and there is often a bouncy castle to bob around on along with an excellent climbing frame/playhouse.

Havent been in here for quite a while..decor is fab its so spacious..nice comfy settee sitting area. Tables with comfy chairs and colour of wood in greys looked very contemporary ..had the Rabbit and bacon pie. Meal of the day..it was one of the best pies I have had in years and pea mash andcred wine sauce spot on all for £8.95..what a lovely treat it was my friend also had pie. She loved it too staff made us feel really welcome we are defo going to return...best pub food around the area I reckon.well done to all concerned . Toilets were fabulous too very high speck ..
