Just had a carvery there with my partner absolutely fantastic everything was homemade and all full of flavour. We eat out all over the country and we can fully recommend this for a carvery. Great portions and well worth the money. Don't change what you are doing guys it's spot on. We will definitely visit again.

Enjoyed a great family roast on Sunday, generous serving of meats, roast potatoes, stuffing ball and yorkshire, and help yourself to fresh veggies all cooked well. My son in law is a chef and I was a chef many years ago we were both quite impressed, the only slight criticism was the beef was a bit well done, and the poor chefs knife could have been sharper! We will be going again. Great value meal

They do some nice quality inexpensive food here. Good location next to the Sports Centre. The service was a bit slow and the outside area needs smartening up but otherwise it is worth a visit. Recommended.

Plates should be hot as should veg. Unfortunately they were not. Dessert was very nice. Staff should listen to customers instead of walking away when being spoken to n not ignore customer. Doubt if I will use carvery again unless changes made.

MOTHERS DAY EVENT !!! So good couldn’t recommend more !!!! Lovley Carvery all mums had a free wine an beautiful wrapped rose. Such kind considerate staff. Cosy inside an beautiful outside seating 💕

Nice bar and cafe. Sport (e.g football, rugby and cricket) is available to watch here through BT sports and SKY sports. Nice place to stop for a pint after exercising in the local sports area or for a proper meal. Large outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. Toilets are also here. Suitable for children and families.

Nice location and convenient after sports to relax haver a bite to eat and a pint. The lagers on tap are good but the draft ales are not drunk enough during the week to keep them rotating enough, they do however stock some reasonably priced bottled beers if you prefer something less carbonated. They have improved the decor inside significantly over the last few years and it is much nicer to sit in there on a cold day with a hot drink while enthusiastic partners or kids run around on the sports facilities below.

Came up for a Mother’s Day roast with my mum today about 3pm and the food was lovely nice, hot and fresh watching food come out every 5-10 minutes when I was sat there.and a free bottle of wine for my mother which was very generous of the staff at the view definitely will be coming back again👍

Great staff, good food and decent prices. Has a big pub garden for a beer in the sun in the summer and decent size and recently decorated bar indoors for the winter (when covid allows the place to open). Takeout food and drink also available if you're just passing by

Really accommodating staff here. Really friendly. Had a birthday party in the function room and they really made us feel welcome. Drinks were cheap enough. Food is reasonably priced. Toilets were clean. I paid twenty pounds to use their spotify account on the PA system they have there. Just made a playlist at home then searched and loaded it up when I got there using the pub computer. Worked great. You can also pay 150 for use of the resident DJ but can't use your own. Would recommend this place. Quiet during the day. Lively in the evenings

Service was good , greated with a smile and a friendly face. Good selection from food menu, went slight down hill from there classis carbonara with garlic bread. Couldn't see any pasta as swimming in sauce which was more cheese sauce than carbonara. However steak&ale pie was very good and a rich taste with large beef chuncks. Drinks all good even a fresh bowl of water for my dog

Lovely looking place, food looks good on their website, but that's about all I can say for it. Their website states: "open all day, everyday". This is not the case as they do not open until 11am on a weekday. How is this "all day" as the claim on their website? Utter nonsense.
