Great food, service and atmosphere. I ordered full English breakfast and strawberry shake. love the milk shake and definitely recommend to my friend.

Excellent pancakes! I had bacon and maple syrup. Lots of bacon! Fluffy and thick pancakes, I was really full afterwards. Especially after having scrambled eggs on the side. Maple syrup I think could be put in a jar so can have as much as wanted and also the music is too loud. It felt like a club a bit because of the music. If it was just quieter then it would have been perfect. Also if they stop smoking on the tables outside. But would definitely recommend!! Fantastic brunch menu.

Amazing service from xoxo! We were just a huge group, they were low in staff but didn’t notice a thing! The drinks were flowing the food was amazing, we all had an amazing time! There was never a gap they worked their butts off and just couldn’t of wished for a better experience! Will 100% be back! Thankyou for making my husbands birthday special!! 5 star all round!! Going to mention some names because they really did smash it .. Went for bottomless brunch to celebrate the platty joobs. Considering we were a party of 9 thirsty students the service was excellent and the drinks were flowing. The food was also very good. Queen Lizzy would have approved.

The bar staff are brilliant. Sadly some of the regulars are not. Poor bartendress cut her hand and had some regular demand she serve drinks. Despite it being against health and safety regs she was a star.

Came in for brunch and our group was served by Billy. Attentive service and accommodated a toddler and a dog on the benches outside. Eggs Royale and French toast were lovely as well as the coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. A must visit if in the Bedford Place area whether it be for brunch or for late night cocktails like the Pineapple Daiquiri with Bumbu!

A great find, the food menu was interesting but tasty. There is happy hour and a good reduced price on drinks there. Service is 5 star, they are bot welcoming and friendly. I had a butter me up burger and the bun was toasted well and I feel the coleslaw wasn't amazing. Interior decor and seating is comfortable, will definitely come here again when I'm down in Southampton.

I did book but turned up early on my own, which can sometimes feel a little awkward. I was greeted so kindly and with a warm smile. I had never been before and felt a little anxious waiting for my friend. The staff here were so lovely, nothing was to much trouble. We had a lovely brunch, a further friend (unexpected) joined us and we were moved to a bigger table, again, no issue at all. This was one of the best experiences I've had in a long time. Oh and did I say the food was amazing too. Well done to all the team at XOXO.

We went for breakfast on the morning of Southampton pride. We chose it because it was empty. We ordered our food & for 6 of us, it took over an hr to arrive. They said they were busy but I cant excuse that as they weren't when they took our order. When it arrived it did look amazing & fresh but unfortunately when we ate it it was luke warm & this is not acceptable & altho we mentioned it to the staff bearing in mind it took so long to arrive we wasn't prepared to wait any longer.

Inconsistent. First time we went was delicious, had the huevos rancheros. Second time we had 2 dishes that were disappointing: french toast was 1 small thin slice with a browning banana for over £6, the other dish was supposedly very popular, baked eggs, but tasteless and the poached egg was rubbery and rock solid yolk. The granary toast was the best part (of which i had 4 slices unlike my poor friend and her french toast "stack"). However my friend had the bahn mi sandwich and said it was delicious. Note: restaurant was not busy at the time.

We went in for a late brunch which turned into lunch. Friendly atmosphere and the waiting staff were great, they looked after us the whole time despite being quite busy. The food was very tasty and of good quality (had an open sandwich and eggs royale) though portions are a bit small if you're very hungry. Unfortunately they were understaffed in the kitchen and there was a very long wait for food (hence the hunger!). Hopefully the new chef will help, will give them a chance to acclimatise and then go back to try again!

Went here for first time just recently. I enjoyed the burger I ordered, the milkshake was average. Atmosphere felt abit awkward, bur may have been just the clientele at the time. Felt it was quite pricey for what it was, and for the money id rather got to one of the other burger outfits around town like byron or gbk or hand made burger company 🍔 Can't comment on the shrimp 🍤 though this could be amazing. So overall, pretty good burgers but everything else average and for the price would rather choose somewhere else.

Nice atmosphere , we had a bit of a confusion with our order at 1st however the staff were quick to apologise and rectified the mishap , the manager was so nice, comped a few things for us too for the inconvenience. Who knew a place called "Shrimp and Burger" would serve up such a mean vegetarian burger! In their burger, the "Big Pretender", they use a quorn patty, halloumi and tomato chilli chutney in a glazed brioche bun with crisp baby gem lettuce & pickles. Is your mouth watering? Mine is. Pair it with their cola and seasoned fries for a meal that will leave you satisfied!
