Reviews of Burton Bridge Inn
N. K.
Very nice pub but also brewery!
They have their own beers but also Carling and Thatcher's if you don't want to try new tastes.
Moreover very clean environment and the staff are taking all the safety measures to make sure all customers are safe

Burton Bridge Inn is located opposite Three Queens Hotel and close to the town centre. So, it is good place for locals and tourists. It is a great pub where you can chill out. The atmosphere is not too loud, chilled and cozy. You do not have music here, you can focus on your conversation. Interior and outside is made with old style design, which gives you even more vibes for the night. The fireplace and interior makes you feel "like home". Upstairs there is a room with bowling and music. You can have some entertainment. The staff is very kind. You can try a good ale, especially now "Boris Bulldog" is on the market. We recommend this place as one of the best to go out in Burton on Trent.

The Burton Bridge Inn is the brewery tap of the adjacent Burton Bridge Brewery, a small, independent brewer in this real ale town. The pub has a nice atmosphere and staff are very friendly. I tried several beers from Burton bridge (both here and elsewhere in town), and while all of them are decent, none I felt was outstandingly characterful. But of course you won't get the beers any fresher than at this place, which is a little outside of the town centre. Pub food is available, too.

Old fashioned boozer. Really good beers and good welcome. A crowd of us visited the night before a family wedding. A few steady beers and chat. No TV or music, classic town pub.

Great locals pub with good beer 🍻 well worth a visit 👍

Great pub but such a pity not open lunchtimes in the week for us pensioners on the V3
D. B.
Great place, good range of the brewery's own beers very reasonably priced.

I have visited the Burton Bridge Inn most weeks during the lockdown to collect a keg of their takeaway beer. The service is fantastic and the beer is even better. I definitely recommend it and I am looking to having a pint inside as soon as it’s safe to do so.
D. M.
Our favourite pub! Go here for the best pint- I recommend Festival Ale ♡ Always a warm welcome in this proper traditional pub. They run a great Beer and Bangers festival!
D. V.
One of my favorite places to go since moving to Burton. A lovely quaint pub brewing their own beer in the back. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly and help build a relaxing and homely feel inside. The beers are incredible and I personally recommend the Stairway to Heaven (as good as the name suggests!).

Fantastic craft beer brewed on the premises in Britain's brewing capital- Burton-upon-Trent 🍺

One of the best pubs in the world!!
The new owners are brilliant and offer a great friendly service!
We visited again recently for predrinks before going to a fantastic restaurant called Pinocchio's which is just round the corner.
You can hire out the skittle alley upstairs for parties etc.
Burton Bridge Brewery is literally in the back yard of this pub, so the great range of beers/ales are so fresh! My all-time favourite ale is Stairway To Heaven!! It's beautiful and packs a punch at 5%.
See you again soon!
😃👍

We had the hall upstairs with the skittle alley for a birthday party. Proper pub with lovely staff. Haven't tried their beer yet as I was driving but I'll definitely be back sometime.

Great pub, great beer.
A. J.
Really good real ale pub, nice and cosy snug and spacious bar area, there's a skittles alley upstairs for Christmas party's and birthdays and such. They also do a steak night and fish night once a month. If you're like your pork pies I highly recommend the ones served here, big and tasty with a dollop of mustard 😀😀
V.
Friendly staff, lovely beer and pork pies and was nice to warm up by the fireplace. Interesting history.
A.

C. T.

Great beer brewed meters away.
If you want a latte with a shuffle, you are not going to like it here.
If you want good beer served in an old fashioned pub, you are in for a treat

Golden Sovereign: The best ale I have had from an independent brewer! Flowery, smooth, pleasant, right for a mild late Spring evening!
B. M.
Good selection of beers, friendly atmosphere fires in both bars in cold weather. They have a skittles alley available for special occasions - not sure of cost - but real old wooden balls etc. Well worth a visit or two, three...!
P. M.
Usual great beer but unusually quiet last night. Not sure if there are new people running the pub? Dogs running around not my cup of tea. Especially when they were food begging.
T. P.
Cosy tiny friendly place. Ladies toilets could do with being down stairs and gents upstairs but other than that nice lace
T. H.

M. C.
Wonderful little pub and brewery. Quality ales and a down to earth vibe. The closest to a real craft brewery feeling I've found in England (admittedly I have not been to all of them or even many of them) but it has that same feeling of connection from the bar out to the production space that one gets used to in the quiet industrial parks of the Western US yet the pub is 100% classic British. Short answer: totally worth it.
M. L.
Totaly outstanding landlords and staff a family welcome every time. Great pints every time this can only be with the best kept seller and beer looked after. Visit visit visit.

A gem of a 17th century pub with brewery and bowling alley and dining room upstairs. The two rooms downstairs feature excellent well kept beers including some of those beers brewed on site. Memorabilia in the rear room makes good reading. Parking in the nearby town centre car parks.
N. C.
Great little brewery and pub...always a good choice of proper ale's
T. H.
This is a really top place, pub with brewery attached and the real ale is second to none.
g. g.
Food is great, however the garden area is very run down needs a bit of inspiration and manicuring to bring it up to 21st century and to match the prices they charge !
M. D.
Ace little pub. At a glance you'd miss it, but you'd certainly be missing out if you didn't have at least one drink in there.
