Great real ales and different choices on every visit.

Fabulous beer. Fabulous service. Fabulous prices. Welcoming clientele. Wished we could have stayed much longer. Fabulous.

Just a super experience. Why would anyone go to an everyday pub when these places exist? Great beer , great environment , personal service ... memorable.

A quirky little pub with a real 'bygone days' feel about it. I visited on Christmas Day and it was standing room only. Plenty of real ale to choose from and the landlord took our order and returned drinks and change (and there was change) to our table. A nice way to spend an hour.

Cracking micropub with friendly locals! We met a great couple here and have exchanged numbers! 😃👍
To meet and make friends with people is one of life's real treasures!

Great place to have a few excellent pints. The landlord is a lovely bloke too. Would strongly recommend after a few tonight.

What an absolute gem of a place!! Went in for one, stayed all night. Really friendly atmosphere, great selection of well kept beers and ciders. Cosy little place, can't wait to go back!

We regularly frequent the Cask and Pottle o a Saturday evening while waiting for a takeaway. They typically have a selection of 4 local ales and 4 ciders available as well as wine and soft drinks. It is cosy and the entertainment is provided the old fashioned way, through socialising which is a significant part of its charm.
