Food was good but my eyes were bigger than my belly . Way to much . Plenty of car park spaces. Surprised how the seat I was sitting on came off completely. Instead of me moving which I could . I just pushed it back on . Needs some TLC. Prices are good . Food not bad. Service was friendly. Yes I would go back but not sit on that particular table

It's a hungry horse. Like spoons you can't go wrong. Don't forget they take Blue light card. Not quiet as good as weather vain meir park but don't know why. Breakfast too much carbs. ?? 🤔

It is okay. I took grandchild he enjoyed his food, he is two would like the edition to children's cutlery most children friendly places have the now. My son asked for a burger without salad. It came with salad! He first tried to order the breakfast meal but wasn't avail? The menu is massive, smaller menu with everything avail would be better. I would have loved a jacket or a salad but nothing avail. Lots of dirty tables. However the staff were nice and said goodbye etc.

I was served by two wonderful waitresses Jess and Elisha they were prompt. Everything came out looking nice and tasting incredible. Really would recommend hats off to these girls didn’t stop the whole night. Both Jess and Elisha made my visit worthwhile and we’re incredibly polite

Thoroughly enjoyed this visit. The food was excellent. The chips were hot and crispy and were obviously freshly cooked rather than being kept warm under a heat lamp. I hadn't been here since before the pandemic but I will be making a return visit real soon.

Visited on a weekday afternoon. Lovely meals with good choice of food. Nice lounge and bar area with TVs mounted. Wheelchair friendly with good access and 3 disabled car parking bays. Free parking now but was previously chargeable with you having to put your car registration in so always check to avoid charges. Disabled toilet. Pub and toilets all on one level. Staff very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the catch up with friends - oh and there's an app to order from your phone at the table. Service was quite quick.

We didn't book a table but fortunately was abke to walk in and find somewhere to sit, the food was lovely and we didn't have to wait long between courses although we were there around 5pm and it was quite quiet, we ordered at the bar and the waitress we had was lovely. I would recommend going here as it was quick service and the food was delicious

I love the food, great value for money and lovely staff... Until today 9.04.22 Id had a fabulous smokin Jack burger.. Paid a pound more for a double and laughing as I paid as you buy one get one free! I'd done the same couple of weeks before.. When we were about to leave, I mentioned it to the waitress who said she hadn't put it through.. a blonde lady, I'm assuming possibly a Manager came out with it and said I was lucky as they don't really do this, but they'd let it go this time.. I felt so embarrassed and humiliated when it's something I paid for... Not sure I'll ever go back...

Visited as a couple, 28th December. One meal (pie and chips) came out and was the temperature of a mini volcano (this is 100% better than it being cold, because at least I can wait for it to cool down enough to eat). The other meal was half a roast chicken, which was hot in parts yet cold in others. Needless to say we let the server know. He actually asked "did we want it warming up (!!!), or a fresh one?". Obviously, we opted for the fresh one. Second time out, the chicken was delicious, however the sweetcorn which came as a side with it was stone cold... I mean STONE COLD! Again, this time the sweetcorn was handed to the server, physically. He agreed it was cold and took it away. He NEVER appeared back to either apologise or with a fresh hot one. We left and didn't bother ordering dessert. The bar service was very good and quick. We wouldn't mind, but this was 5pm,it wasn't as if anyone was rushed off their feet 😕

Attended for breakfast on Sunday morning. The service was brilliant. The guy on the bar (think his name was Baz) was superb. Couldn't do enough for us. Food was spot on. Tried the "breakfast in bread". It was huge. Defo recommend 👍👍

Can't fault the restaurant itself, but what were the head office staff on when they decided that putting Vimto into the burger sauce was a good idea? I've never tasted Vimto, but decided to try, as it was the only one with a double burger (the old "doubling-up" option seems to have disappeared). It tasted disgusting. All the other ingredients seemed perfect, but this sickly-sweet taste overpowered everything, and still seems present a day later. You have been warned! NB: please bring back the "doubling-up" option on burgers - it can't be that difficult.

Okay you get what you pay for. Had the full monty, the meal was lush except for the reformed/processed chicken. But may I add that my car and house keys fell from my jacket top on a visit there last month and after some security checks I was able to retrieve them the next day very professional service

large new venue with plenty of parking. most of the food was ok, gammon looked like it had been cooked on a less than clean hot plate. was loud but then it was a Friday evening and we was I the over 21 area so not the venues fault. the main issue was the service, it was slow and some staff were shall we say preoccupied. there was a doorman on the door who was very friendly and courteous. I would come back here for social drinks as the atmosphere was quire vibrant but if its for food I would most likely go up the road to the harvester.

Because of driving couldn't try the real ale, so can't comment that. Tried the Tuesday big plate for £5.50, asked for the mixed grill but it wasn't in the small print under the advertising. First time visiting after restrictions allowed for a meal last week. Booked a table as requested, not impressed to be sitting on the car park. Six tables were cleared and over 15 minutes before anyone came out to clean them! When they did come out, cleaned three to then be distracted mymore customers so other two never got done. No mention when booking table that you had to order on the app, lucky we owned a mobile,not everyone dies! Not impressed didn't feel like a relaxed atmosphere. Only good thing the food was lovely.

Pleasant staff and good atmosphere. Good choice of food and we enjoyed ours. Only issue is parking. Sometimes you need to pay at machine, sometimes you don't. Last three times we've been, there have been three different systems. First time, pay and get refund with order, second time the machine was not in use, third time, machine was in use, we paid only to be told no refund, we should not have paid in the evening. Not clear, and frustrating to pay £4 for the privilege of spending money in pub!

Sunday night - the food was tasty and arrived in a short time BUT.... The plates were dirty and chipped. The staff were curt and unpleasant. We had to wait for cutlery - the waitress said she'd bring it back and we never saw her again and had to go ask at the bar. I'm surprised as last time we were here the staff were helpful and friendly. Staff training and monitoring might help. Good job the staff were not expecting a tip!

We go semi regularly to a few of the Hungry horse chain, this on is my new favourite. Here's why. 1. It's very clean even after a busy day 2. The food quality is the best consistently that we've had. I've marked them down because you have to pay for parking here - you don't at the others and my sizzler had stood, it didn't sizzle so they cooked me another. No quibble. It was fast and perfect, plus they were apologetic. The reasons we visit often is its outstanding value. Have a big plate special even if you end up treating you dog too. The menu is sufficiently varied for our fussy eaters, dieters and body builders alike, it's great value for money and the venues are interesting.

Nice well maintained chain pub, in this case hungry horse. The bar and tables are kept clean and tidy, the staff are pleasant and the prices are not to bad. We all went for the Sunday quiz, we had a sharing platter which was quite nice, and had a lovely evening. The pub is very quite on a Sunday evening, if you dont like the sunday roast rush.

I ordered Chicken New York as I've never had it cooked properly yet in a Hungry horse pub. But this time it was spot on. In fact we were all very happy with what we got. Apple crumble and custard for dessert, we got plenty and it was very tasty. I've given five stars because there is no 4.5. The only down fall was the member of staff who served us god knows what it would take to get a smile out of her. All the other staff were great though.

The best hungry horse chain I have been too in a very long time. The last couple times I have been to other hungry horse pubs I have been extremely disappointed. It's my new local after just moving to the area so definitely happy that it's one of the best. It's always busy with a great atmosphere. There's an over 18s section which is great if you don't have kids were you can eat and drink.

Visited Sunday with my two children aged 5 and 8 and had a lovely meal, great menus, quiet atmosphere in the restaurant and good service. Just a shame about other patrons that let their children run riot jumping all over the other tables/chairs and shouting constantly while we were there for 90 mins.

Good selection of drinks, and the best burgers and onion rings we've found in Stoke. Large pub, plenty of seats, and a nice seated outdoor area (with playarea). Family friendly. The booths/kids corner and kids TV are great. Friendly and efficient staff. (Although I wish they'd have more of them behind the bar on a Friday lunchtime when the rush comes in)

The food is still good but there was mistakes when the food arrived, the barwoman was dismissive & blamed us when it was purely a misunderstanding on both sides. We eat here 6 to 8 times a month, 5 people & we were about to book new year but are reconsidering. The warm friendly atmosphere is now too brusque & businesslike. Wife's birthday was ruined Also, play area has been replaced with a smoking shelter.

Excellent service, thoughtful staff, good value meals. I called up afterwards about a lost item and staff were very helpful. It is large with places for families who have children; TV sets next to dining areas, or if you prefer not that is an 18+area for more quiet. They show football games when they are on, and there is a lovely feel of community here.

Lovely family meal, great food and great atmosphere, very child friendly but plenty of space for just adults who want peace. Child area has TVs and blackboards at some tables and plenty of Duplo boxes to keep little fingers occupied. Food is decent for what you pay and good value. Friendly helpful service too.

A modern pub restaurant with a car park. Easily accessible from the motorway, A50 or A34. Hungry Horse menu and reasonable drink prices. Kid's menu available. The staff were helpful and the service was fast. Even the match day traffic from Britannia Stadium didn't cause more than a couple of minutes delay. If there was a play area this place would get 5 stars.

The replacement of a kids menu with a 'half portions ' menu is poor - very limited choice. Lack of crayons/kids activity packs -which I'm sure other hungry horse outlets still do. Just feels like they're trying to turn it into a pub!

Apparently anyone can walk into the kitchen. Waited ten minutes for someone to bring us some cultery asked the waiter and the barman and still no-one brought us any. Been here many time and never had a bad experience and it's always nice food. But this has now let it down it only takes one bad experience to put someone off.

Popped in for a drink as meeting someone there & wondered why it was easier to find a parking spot. They have introduced parking charge which is refundable when purchasing a drink more than £3,which on reflection is a good thing as sometimes we have driven off as no parking space. Pub is split into 2 areas, family (children) area & adult area & both have comfortable seating areas. We only had drinks but bar staff very friendly, overall a nice place.

Food nice but tables to close together no 2 meters distance we where put on a table in corner and they sat a guy on next table we could of touched him on his back if we reached and quite a few family’s walking in with no mask 😷????

A pub chain establishment that requires a bit of love. Staff need training in clearing tables, cleaning tables, cleanng the toilets regularly and making customers feel valued. The location, car parking and potential for improvement is first rate. The food is satisfactory and the drinks range is extensive.

Six of us visited 30th Oct for a meal. The staff organised party games for the young children and our nine year old granddaughter joined in and enjoyed herself, bringing back some sweets she had won. The staff along with some of the children were dressed up today playing games. The staff were great with the children. On arrival we were warned there would be a 30min wait for food which was fine. The food was good. The staff were very busy, sometimes leaving the bar unmanned with six people waiting to order food and drink. They needed more staff on, but did there best to serve us with so many people in. The management should have rostered more staff for this event. The workers deserve a bonus for their efforts today and they all had a smile on there face. Sue Cooper

Because we booked for 12 people, we had to pay a deposit of £15. So much confusion trying to sort out getting the deposit via the cost of people's meals! Wont be booking ahead again. Too much hassle. 4 had roast chicken 1 was ok, other 3 were overcooked and extremely dry.

Great pub.....but you have to pay parking. Yoh do get it back when you place an order. I overstated the parking by 15mins....and I have a charge/ fine if £100. I am disabled and cant move so quick, so I thought there would be a bit of discretion.....but no. I will never go back there....or any of my friends or family .

Hem Heath is a great place for us to meet as a family.Always greeted nicely and nothing is too much trouble.Food is great and at a good price too.Lots of choice even for coeliacs. All staff are very polite and helpful and brilliant with my Niece who is in a wheelchair.Disabled toilet and all very clean too.Booked for boxing day because we know we will enjoy ourselves there.I would recommend Hem Heath and the Manager Matt is a really great guy.
