Been for lunch today absolutely fantastic food and service the club sandwich was all fresh produce and delicious would recommend to anyone congratulations to all staff it was an absolute 💯 pleasure.

Love this place, food is beautiful altho portion sizes are creeping down n prices creeping up.. But who cares when it's home made food. In fact I think il go tomorrow 😍 I'm just greedy 😂😂😂 Would happily pay extra for bigger steak as its always cooked to my liking but there's no option atm 😋

The causeway if very exciting for kids. Check the tide times and you can get it so you can arrive my boat and leave by the causeway. The sea mist came in when we visited, and that made it more excited

Good beer and good atmosphere the bar. Lounge is geared towards food and it’s really not that sort of place in my opinion. Seating for drinks would be more useful although probably not as profitable for the owners

Had a lovely afternoon tea at the marquis today. The selection of cakes and sandwiches were excellent and catering for gluten free option was so thoughtfully done. Definately recommended!

I just want to thank the guys at the Marquis, the food and the atmosphere is brilliant. I thought i might of needed a throw with it being chilly, but it was very comfortable. So pleased that you are busy and can now finally trade.

So it's been such a long time since I went up to the Marquis.It's changed hands again. The bar staff were lovely and the beer was great. They have a jukebox and there is a lively atmosphere.

Princess party was enjoyable, less of an afternoon tea experience and more of a kids party. Regardless, the kids had fun and the princesses were brilliant - very engaging with the kids and great performers. A little expensive in comparison to other afternoon teas, but worth it if your kid loves princesses.

Lovely pub with a large and spacious walled beer garden. Plenty of tables with umbrellas. Inside is large yet cosy with plenty of seating and a decent selection of beers, ciders and spirits.

The Marquis of Granby has recently reopened after a refurbishment, it is now back to being a true family pub with a great atmosphere.Next Friday they are launching a new menu and food will be available every day. Well done Callum and Keiran, you have put the heart back into the Marquis.

Reading reviews on marquis. I landlord marquis of granby. Been in pub for 9 years . In that time . All other pubs in village had down fall. Open and closeing bar staff nicking money and helping them selves to stock. A couple occasions staff ran off with takeings . Etc . What i am aiming at is . I been in pub business in penkhull for 21 years . With marstons plc . And altogether 40 years . I dont allow foul language off bits kids think the bully boys when get a beer or other substances been on before the come in pub .i can fish those idiots when the walk in my pub . . These are the idiots that write rubbish on here . These are the idiots that ruin other pubs in village . They never ruin Marquis as long as rowland family are involved. We always welcome decent people who want to come in and have a good quality drink and decent pub food.. its a drug free pub . Ps can anyone tell me where money raised at penkhull jazz and con oh sorry blues . These are the issues we should be focusing on . . Landlord john

Came here once as I saw on fb about the revamp, looks absolutely stunning and the staff are lovely - so is food however the biggest let down for me was that they have no baby changing facilities and had to go home to change our little girl
