Long time since our last visit but the food was great and the prices were good. The carvery was £6.99 mid week for a medium plate and that was too much food. The meat was melt in the mouth delicious with generous slices, and enough vegetable choices. The fish and chips were lovely and fresh and plenty of food.

Welcome by Megan this afternoon who couldn’t do enough for us. The pub & restaurant was very busy and we hadn’t booked so worried we might not have got in. Megan went out of her way to find us a table for us within a few minutes. Red hot carvery with lots to choose from. Excellent service from start to finish! Thanks all 👏🏻☺️

Came here for Mother's Day yesterday evening. Overall the experience was good and much better than other local pub/restaurants. The food was delicious. Carvery was hot and tasty. The staff were nice and friendly. Price was reasonable and venue was clean. Unfortunately the biggest downsides were to do with organisation. We were on a table that had several different table numbers. We all agreed to say the same number. This unfortunately resulted in confusion and some food arriving late. The staff member told us to say a different table number. I said that number when ordering a dessert. They unfortunately gave the dessert away to the wrong table and mine didn't arrive for about 20-25 minutes. And when it did, it came with a spoon that was larger than the sundae glass so it wasn't really fit for purpose. All of this could have been solved with a piece of paper on larger tables telling us exactly which table number to say. Either way, none of this detracted from its pluses. Would definitely come back again.

Absolutely fantastic, Me and my family all had a carvery and it was amazing! All of the food was fresh and restocked, the pub was so busy but didn’t feel busy as the staff were so efficient, our plates were cleared really quick and the staff couldn’t help us enough! I’ve been today with my mother for her birthday and the food was fantastic, we both had Carvery and the food was fresh and delicious, the restaurant was very busy and I can understand why! The staff were super organised and polite though so being busy wasn’t an issue! Nicola’s customer service was great!

Outstanding Hannah the manager was 10/10 completely amazing with my children talking to them and even giving them colouring. Wacky Warehouse - The kids had a blast, it was clean and the staff were friendly. Reasonably priced, why bother paying more for softplay!? The restaurant - Excellent value for money, a really tasty carvery and extremely helpful and friendly staff who were absolutely brilliant with the kids despite our visit being on a super busy Saturday evening. We will be back soon, thankyou!

We are local to this pub and visited on Christmas Eve. We booked a table to have some food before going into the bar. We couldn't fault the service or the food. We were served quickly and the food was great. It was very busy with being Christmas Eve, but the staff worked very hard. A work colleague was 60 last week and 14 of us went for a meal. We had lovely food which was bought out to is promptly. It was very good value for money. The staff were friendly and couldn't have been more helpful and even the manager came to check we were ok. We will definitely be back.

Staff are very helpful and accommodating. Food was decently priced and varied. 4 stars given as wacky warehouse is £5 for one hours play, and maximum capacity was around 15 kids which meant the person I was being there couldn't get in. Also cannot book in advance for parties over 8.

Absolutely awful place, no staff greeted us so we found our own seat to then be told we had to move seats as those tables were reserved (there was no reservation sign), tables were dirty and very sticky, considering corona virus is still about this is shocking! Then when food arrived it was disgusting, I had a carvery and it was cold, burnt and hard and my little boys pizza was a microwave pizza that came out soggy and went hard very quickly so he was unable to eat it, would not recommend at all. Have since been back and the food was completely different, freshly cooked, good portion sizes and fast friendly service 👍

What we had to eat and drink was very nice and good value, only problem was what they didn't have, carvery closed as we were ordering, a couple of first choices were of the menu. It was my 60th birthday. On 28th October. But we came on the 31st Sunday, we booked the function room for 30 people. The staff were very friendly and helpful .The food was excellent .The children enjoyed their meals Then went off to the wacky warehouse. While everyone else carried on eating drinking and having a catch up .It's the first time we had been to the new Florence and along with most of our guests it was a very enjoyable experience the staff the food and Drink were spot on The children enjoyed themselves in the wacky warehouse and we all came away after having had a wonderful birthday party. We would all recommend The new Florence and look forward to going again soon.

Went in a few weeks back for food and the play area. Decided to eat first after being told the play area was busy. First the wrong order arrived at the table and we was informed rudely "that's what's on your ticket" by a less than enthusiastic member of staff (although I will point out that all other staff seemed excellent). Waited over an hour -I think an 80th party and a wedding may have been in - for the correct food and my wifes steak kebab genuinely could not be chewed through. We did mention it when asked how the food was but did not want anything as I do not like to come across as wanting discounts when all the other food was okay. A little disappointed we went to the soft play area to be told there was now a 20 min wait. We decided against it and went home. It may be an idea allow families to reserve slots before they go into the food area and wait. I'll be back for a pint, but it may be harder to convince the wife next time.

I came on Tuesday for a quick bite to eat with a friend from work and we decided to have a carvery as the smell was amazing as we walked in. there was a girl clearing tables who had her arm in a sling, but it didn't appear to be bothering her apart from the odd moment. I didn't catch her name but she was polite and helpful when we asked for more salt and pepper and napkins. I hope her injury heels soon

Staff were helpful and polite We ordered jacket potatoes with tuna to be told no tuna was available. So I ad cheese n the other person ad beans. Menu said it came with a salad garnish which was pathetic consisted of a torn lettuce leaf and a dribble of dressing. The potatoes were very small ,dry and the cheese was tasteless and the beans were drying up . But suppose you get what you pay for.

We visited on a Sunday lunchtime without a booking. We expected a long wait or to be turned away, but... Service was prompt, we were seated in seconds, and the welcome was excellent. The place was busy, but not noisy, full, but not packed. Clean and newly decorated it was a very pleasant environment to enjoy our meal in. We ordered carvery meals and bought soft drinks. The staff on the bar were helpful and polite, a credit to the business. Similarly, the food service staff were friendly, efficient and capable. The food all looked very fresh and appetising. It did not disappoint. It was delicious and wonderfully hot. There is a car park with free parking. There is also a Wacky Warehouse play area for the younger visitors. We will definitely return.

Our first visit to the Wacky Warehouse since before the flood closure earlier this year and a really positive experience. Smooth booking process, excellent and diligent cleaning regime between the sessions, social distancing being respected and great friendly table service. Also still great value! Oh, and the kids had a whale of a time! Can't wait for the next visit!

The food here before it changed into a carvery wasn’t the greatest to be honest. But now..... wow. Hands down one of the nicest carveries that I’ve had. The veggies are all cooked perfectly and fresh and the meats are fabulous too ( a little more than 3 little slices would be better though) that’s why I knocked off a star. A party of 14 went for a birthday meal last night 15th June. Staff were very nice. Food came in good time except for mine which was 15 minutes after everyone else's, no apology had to ask 3 times Which was hunters chicken it was microwaved the ends were hard and I couldn't cut into it. My son paid £3 extra for stake to have with his mixed grill, it was the smallest piece of stake we've ever seen. The waiter was clearing plates away and asking if anyone wanted sweets before I had finished my meal. I was not impressed at all.All the meals were poor value for money

Drinks are relatively well priced, plenty of places to sit with booths and normal chairs. The staff are friendly and it is well run with clean toilets and up to date decor. My wife and I had a carvery when it was first installed and it was excellent. Really well cooked and the type of variety you would expect from and carvery menu. Meat and vegetables were great. The only think stopping a five star is the noise from the TV's in the bar seating area and they often had children who were noisy when we went in on a Tuesday night between 18:15 and 19:30 every week. Pool is on offer, with a poker table too I saw being used by a group. A good place to eat and drink.

I have been to this place many times and have had food from the menu as well as the carvery which had a very nice veggie option which was lovely. You can't go wrong with the play park outside and the soft play, though it can smell at times and needs air conditioning as my children get so hot in there however over all a great place to go.

Having visited here quite frequent as of late I can say there carvery is delicious and very good value for money I would recommend and will be returning. Not only that but they serve slush puppy’s have a wacky warehouse sort of thing for kids and friendly staff. The toilets were clean no complaints here.

This watering hole can be found in the ST3 Dresden area of Stoke On Trent, with it's wacky warehouse, indoor / outdoor play areas can be sometimes be popular with families and kids. No 2 for a tenner deals on the food here anymore, but a good plate full on the carvery at your average prices is about right and you do get the choice of mushy peas if you so wish to scoop on to your meal - that's got to be a bonus lol. Never had a problem with this place and usually just walked in and managed to get a table, but if more than a couple of you best to book a table. On average the price I've paid here is £12 per person and that's been for a meal and a drink, which you can't really grumble over. Here there's also free parking, free Wi-Fi, family and disabled friendly, BT sports, beer garden and that wacky warehouse.

There's a lot of pubs doing carverys in Stoke, and believe me I've tried them all, but now the Florence have got one it's got to be the best in Stoke on Trent, if not further, the meat is perfect and the veg is just, well beautiful, they have really set the standard.
