Reviews of The Cock Inn
R. S.Visited Saturday evening with a dog. Staff very accommodating, sat in the lounge which had a nice atmosphere. The food was tasty and promptly served when we had ordered. The service was however disappointingly slow and especially considering the number of staff vs people in my opinion. Had to seek out people throughout. To pay we gave up waiting and stood at the bar/restaurant entrance waiting 5 mins to see any staff. Easy to fix hopefully and will be back in the future.
S.In a quiet and pleasant village setting. Sizeable carpark adjacent to a great walk around the WW2 Crater and lots of pictures and info about this in the pub. Service was friendly and efficient. Only dropped in for a drink, Beer good, well kept and served. Plenty of seating throughout the 3 bars and outdoors. Good toilets, definitely worth dropping in.
