There is nothing bad I can say about this gem! It was my 50th birthday we ventured into this hidden jem on my birthday afternoon just for a couple of pints. The decor is lovely very shabby chic, but what most stood out, was the extremely friendly bar person called Hannah, such a lovely person very friendly and chatty I told her it was my birthday she wished me a happy day We also had a good chat, she gave us the menu to have a look at because I didn't know where I was going to be going for dinner for my birthday, I have to say I have not seen a menu so varied, the descriptions of the foods that were on the menu looked so good I really felt like I needed to try this so we booked for my 50th birthday meal at the crossing. On arrival the lovely Kira as if we booked to which we replied we had she found us our table and then brought us I complimentary bottle of prosecco with strawberries! So yes I'm already sold because well.... Free alcohol and who doesn't love prosecco and strawberries come on! I ordered the hanging chicken kebab with the pork chips bucket my husband ordered the fish finger sandwich which is no ordinary fish finger sandwich I must say, and the fire cracker chip bucket. I was absolutely blown away when she bought the meals to us, presentation was absolutely amazing, I had a plate full of salad with slaw, and hanging above it was this gorgeous looking charcoal grilled chicken kebab! I have to say I have never had anything that tasted so good other than at this place! I don't usually actually leave reviews, when places are mediocre, but this place just completely blew me away! The food is amazing the staff are polite, easy going friendly, just can't do enough for you. My husband described his meal as outstanding! As a fish finger sandwich goes this was the most posh I'd ever seen! We also had a cocktail which were equally amazing such a lovely taste. From start to finish the experience of this lovely pub was a tantalising taste bud tickling wonderful gem of a place which I would highly recommend to anybody in the area to try. You will not be disappointed! Well done the crossing You deserve 10 stars not 5. Best wishes from Helen. 50 today lol x

Excellent food and service - although it was a bit slow. The interior design is stylish and arty. There's even a saw and hammer dangling from the ceiling! Some of the seating is reminiscent of Louis XIV chairs.

It's a nice pub and I like the look of the place. Had some lovely food there before but today's was just ok - maybe because it was Sunday and we didn't have the roast. I think I'll stick to standard pub menu items next time. But will go again - staff were friendly and helpful
R. A.
We popped in for a late lunch - staff were very attentive. Food never disappoints but the special cheese board was exception. Lots of choice indoor or outdoor seating. Very enjoyable 😉
H. G.
Popped in today for lunch. First time for us and we weren't disappointed. Staff lovely & friendly. Loads of choice food wise. Food was lovely. We would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Lovely place. Spacious dining area. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Good-sized beer garden, & car park, too. Wide choice of menu. Recommended.

There was something not nice about these cocktails. Just didn't quite taste right
R. A.
Had Steak Frites for lunch. £8. I asked for it rare and when it came it was a great cut and rare. Very very happy with my lunch for quality and price but mostly the cookery.
Chef Chloe. Great job. Thanks.

We had a lovely lunch nothing was to much bother food was really really good 👍 they do a nice selection of none alcohol drinks, my only thing is that they did have soya milk for drink of coffee maybe no one asks so they don't need it. Thank you to both the ladies in today very kind and very thoughtful would we eat here again 100% would we tell people yep 102% 😀
K. H.
Had a lovely family Sunday lunch here. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. We had a great afternoon.
A. O.
Loved the Sunday Lunch loads of flavour good portions. Kebab starter was different but again loads of flavour, nice.
Had to wait a little for the main but was worth the wait. 👍👍

First time here on Friday, lovely decor, very cosy, food was really nice, really good menu. Really nice and polite waitresses, nothing too much trouble and the lady(maybe manager) had a chat with us, really nice and friendly lady. Will definitely go back, every time we nip to burton for the day. 👍👍

We were booked in last week with work, we go quite a lot & it has been hit & miss with service but food is usually always good & menu offer is great.
Last week was the worst yet, dreadful. We pre ordered for 1pm as we were a large group. At 1.40pm we were told it would be another 20 mins as we had all ordered different meals from the menu? Isnt that the point to pre ordering? Pretty bad & no apology or explanation... just it is what it is... it was not acceptable.
Again food was good , cant complain & all were happy as we were indeed starving!
But waiting over a hour when we had pre ordered was very poor.
K. L.
Beautiful! Nice and cosy with a warm atmosphere. Food was great. Good choice and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a lovely evening.

Regular visits, when in Burton to see family, good selection at the bar. Had a Sunday snack lunch, great food for a good price, would recommend and close to long stay ( 4 hour) free car park.
k. s.
The dining experience was Good ,however had the baked fish , flavour was good , but thin small portion of fish which was over cooked. No check back so couldn't bring it to anyone's attention, won't put us off from dining here again.
G. W.
Lovely place to be, nice staff. The menu is large and lots of different lagers on tap. I made the mistake of ordering the bucket of fish and chips- it was too much to have! Really tasty just massive. I also had a dessert which was very nice- a scoop of chocolate ice cream. The prices are good and I think this is one of best places to eat and drink in Burton. The interior is so pleasant; shabby chic and comfortable with light background music. The toilets are clean and tidy. I will return! Free parking to the rear.

I visit this weekend place on a Tuesday evening for a board game Meet Up. Very friendly helpful staff with great range of directions. Plenty of space and appropriate lighting and an enticing ambience.

The Crossing is one of the nicest, most comfortable pubs in Burton upon Trent - and a firm favorite among real ale lovers. It's spacious too, and includes a large outside seating area in the back. You will find the decor unfussy, friendly and comfortable. Superior pub food is available, I tried the Derbyshire roast beef and found it of excellent quality - and the portion was huge, too. Staff are friendly and helpful, prices for food & beer are certainly competitive for the area. Family-friendly place.
M. B.
The menue here is great, the wording alone sets your mind alight with the tantalising prospect of whats to come.
With my friends i pondered over a steak which they had had before and recomended or my go too, a burger.
They had only seen others order burgers but their description sold me on one.
I upgraded the chips to porky chips just because the description on the menu had me salavating at the thaught of them.
Its safe to say i was impressed when the food arrived at the table, it looked great and tasted amazing 😊 after folowing it up with brownies and ice cream i was thoroughly satisfied.
This pub has a warm inviting atmosphere and if your after food in an evening with your friends in burton, i'd highly recomend coming here. 😊
They were even kind enough to light the candle for us!
E.
The Crossing is, by far, the nicest pub in the area. They have a great selection of beer on tap. I ate there twice. I had a burger and fish and chips. The burger was good, but the fish and chips was very good. They gave me a huge piece of fish that was cooked perfectly. I'm not sure what the little things are that they put on top of the fish though (maybe it's an English thing?). I definitely recommend The Crossing, especially the fish and chips!
R. F.
At first when I went in I wasn't impressed. No idea why just didn't feel right. But then I sat down had a look around and realised it was a nice pub. They even still have proper pump taps on the bar. We ordered some food and waited.... Holy sweet zombie jesus. One of the nicest burgers I've ever had and the thick cut chips. Oh my gosh the thick cut chips. I'd marry them. Great portion size too. Very flavoursome and well priced.
G. M.
Absolute gem of a pub. Staff extremely friendly and attentative to our dogs, Dexter & Russell. The food is beautiful and well priced. Dogs were given water & treats. Will visit again when in the area.
E. B.
Food took 50mins to come, we were on a work lunch and had pre ordered a week before. Then i was charged wrong at the til. Plus side is that food itself was lovely once it actually came, nice pint too x
J. K.
Nice bar, friendly staff, good atmosphere.
Never eaten here but I hear good things about the food.
T. P.
Great choice of beers, varied and unusual menu, quirky decor which I loved! Nice spacious beer garden
K. S.
Really nice! Eating area was very nicely decorated, staff were nice and friendly and we really enjoyed the food. Can't ask for much more than that, will definitely go back again :)
J.
Had a lovely lunch here yesterday. Good size car park and dog friendly - we were allowed to take our dog into the bar area. Dog treats and water provided! Lunch menu was exceptionally good value, and the food was really tasty, with good vegan options. Staff friendly and attentive and comfortable atmosphere. Couldn’t fault anything. Very impressed and will definitely be back.
M. I.
I went on July to drink a couple of pints with a friend. The garden was beautiful and the waitress was very nice!
I. T.
Only called in for a quick cheeky mango cider but the welcome was just the same as if I had stopped for a meal, if only I had time to
J. M.
Nice place with a good atmosphere.
I went here and had cocktails which were 2 for £10 when I went. The cocktails were very good and you could taste the alcohol meaning they weren't watered down by the mixer too much. There was a nice variety but would have like to have seen more options.
I have orevuouslt had food here and it is very tasty and reasonably priced.
I would definitely recommend a visit here.
È. A.
We celebrated our 9th anniversary here. We loved this place. Looks amazing and the food and the staff is fantastic 😍
S. D.
Lovely food at reasonable prices and pleasant surroundings. Very friendly staff, easy parking too. All in the ground floor which makes it wheelchair friendly.
D. C.
Under new management, good selection of drinks, affordable and. Nice seating area.
C. K.
Nice local pub and some really nice decor and unusual. Food coming out looked really nice. Staff are great and this was only a Wednesday night. Well worth a visit. Lots of character and just a general nice place for a drink. Nice outside seating area too.
R. H.
For delicious, innovative takes on pub classics, meet at the Crossing. The ale and gin selection is comprehensive and varied, the food hearty and genuinely tasty. Service can slow at busy times - just as anywhere - but we have always been satisfied by the quality of our menu choices and the friendliness of the staff. My wife had a mocktail (pictured) and was delighted with it!
W. H.
Massive thank you to your staff last night. We had a great evening and then when I had lost my phone the staff went out their way and were amazingly helpful. 5 stars for The crossing and 6 stars for their staff
K. 1.
Great atmosphere... a young team learning the ropes doing a fab job...
Food yum very tasty served hot and good portions....
t. c.
Lovely pub. Good range of ales and other beers. Staff nice and friendly.
M. H.
I did like this venue. Lovely and attentive staff. Thought the meals were a tad expensive. Big you can get over that I would recommend.
K. M.
Had Mum's wake here can't thank the team enough for how they looked after us . Food was fantastic many thanks 👍☺️
N. c.
First time having a meal here had a great night, we were a table of 7. Food was slow to come out and one meal was wrong but it was soon rectified. However our fabulous waitress Mia more than made up for it, she was brilliant, looked after us so well, advised us on drinks and cocktails. She made our night great thank you!
K. B.
Food was delicious as always but service was poor due to being busy. Manager did reduce bill to apologise
N. D.
Food was amazing as I didn't expect it to be so succulent,,staff are very pleasant and helpful
I will definitely visit again in the near future when I next come to Burton
A. L.
Meal was very nice staff very attentive good prices will definitely go back
S. C.
As I was new to the area it was nice to find a pub with character. Nice friendly staff and lovely outdoor space for functions etc
O. S.
Great food, great service. Pub food done really well. Was a bit busy, but staff were clearly trying their best. One of the best places to eat in Burton.
A. K.
Food is normally good quality, best to phone ahead for a table, make sure you put your car reg in the machine on entry. Can sometimes wait a bit to long for your food to arrive.
v. b.
Great place.
One of the best food I had in long time.
L. M.
Lovely food and staff, will revisit
J. R.
The crossing has always been my go to for a nice meal, it was mine and my now wife's first date so always gonna be a place to remember. Since lockdown we haven't been and today was our first revisit, to which we was updated that the management had changed, both the new manager and assistant manager was nice enough to introduce them self and made themselves Available the entire time we was there and politely check in on us now and then too.
The food and drink selection has always been lovely, I especially recommend the Mango Cider for anyone with a sweet tooth!. Today was no exceptions to this, food was lovely and I am much more inclined to wait for really good, cooked to order, food over preprepared microwave pub grub other pubs in the area have succumbed to these days. That being said, the wait wasn't awful, just allowed time to chat with my wife and have a nice lunch date as opposed to a slapdash rushed meal, the crossing has always been a relaxed atmosphere and a really pleasure to sit a relax in, so why not slow down and enjoy it.
H. J.
Great selection of beers and food menu very impressive with a good selection for vegaterans too. Nice beer garden with sheltered spots along with fleece blankets for those chiller days. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Have a nice couple of hours here.
D. C.
I get the same each time, a roman burger, but i wouldnt change it for the world 🥺
The music choices and aesthetics are a huge vibe.
S. C.
For pub grub, it was really good value and quality. Also something for everyone on an impressibly large menu. We found the service was good and the staff helpful and friendly. We were in the conservatory part of the pub which had a nice ambience. Would go again.
G. W.
Bar tender makes an incredible mojito
Brilliant cocktails and food was great too
T. H.
Some really interesting food choices. I especially love the dirty chips options as well as the rest of the menu. Also love the decor and atmosphere. Highly recommended and I should really make the effort to travel there more often!
M. B.
Our first time in this lovely pub, and would highly recommend to anyone. We had a very tasty lunchtime meal, and it such good value for money too 😋👍
J. G.
Really good food at reasonable prices, friendly attentive staff. Well done!
K. H.
Me and my sisters went on Sunday, the food was absolutely incredible!! Everything was spot on, so hats off to the chefs. Everybody that works there is so lovely and really looked after us. Thank you to you all for making a lovely day. 😊
L. B.
The service from the staff was fantastic all night, and the free bottle of Prosecco for my mum with it being her birthday was a very kind gesture and a nice touch.
Unfortunately however, the quality of the food was very poor.
Being a large party we had to send a preorder the day before which is understandable.
The food arrived almost instantly as we sat down at our table which seems great, however it meant most of our dishes had been sat keeping warm which led them to being dry, rubbery and tasteless.
The quality of the food at the Crossing has always been draw for us, but on this occasion corners were cut for speed and the quality suffered as a consequence.
We did have a nice time regardless and the Crossing is a place I’d always drop in for a drink, but it was a real shame about the drop in standard in the food and unfortunately this is something I wouldn’t currently come back for.
S. R.
Lovely place. Main meal was good. We all enjoyed it. Staff friendly & helpful.
BUT dessert menu very poor. If u have a nut allergy you have no choice but vanilla icecream & sorbets. All deserts had nuts.
Did explain to young waitress that menu could do with a change but not sure if comments will reach the kitchen.
But worth a visit if its a main meal only you want!!!
M. C.
Very nice pub, good outdoor space and nice inside with a good selection of beers
s. l.
Love The Crossing. Great atmosphere and great food. Lost a star for their coffee - no excuse in 2021 for not being able to make a decent espresso or cappuccino, especially if you have a gastropub menu like The Crossing
A. G.
We were running late for dinner but the staff were really patient and held our table and even took our orders even after they should have stopped taking food orders for the night. The food and drinks were all good and well priced. 3 out of 4 us enjoyed everything we ate, except the steak was apparently quite bland. Staff were attentive and the food and drinks were served quickly. Ladies were out of order tho so all women forced to use the disabled loos.
S. K.
I really like the crossing for early dinner staff are very friendly food good i love the northern fried chicken
R. D.
Good traditional pub just missed the lunch crowd so easy atmosphere good 80s music just right volume good choice of drinks 🍸
D. S.
Great staff, excellent selection. Didn't try the food but the last people who sat down had left their plate and the chips looked really nice.
E. W.
Food very good, staff friendly, service a bit slow
T. S.
What a find! Great pub! Eclectic crazy decor. Superb menu. Great drink selection and most of all brilliant staff! Maisie couldn’t do enough for us. If ever in area go here for sure!! 👌👍🏻👌👍🏻
P. M.
Well what a night we had. The place atm is being run, a little bit loosely. There is definitely someone in charge, who knows what they are doing, they just don't want to be customer facing. We ordered the food at 6.55pm. At 8.10pm, we were told there was an issue with the food ordering system. Basically, our order and everybody else's order, between 6.45 and 8.00 hadn't been processed. Not very happy. To be fair, we were offered a free round. The food did come fairly quickly then. Only 3 issues with the food, we ordered a dirty Doner pizza bur there was only 3 minuscule portions of doner kebab on the pizza. We ordered some Sweet potato chips and they had been cremated. The staff are all really nice and it didn't spoil our evening too much.
P. S.
Me and my friends used to go basically every friday before the lockdown because it quickly became our favourite pub. Since lockdown the quality of the pub has remained. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the cocktails are still the best around. Would recommend to anyone.
P. L. (. F.
First the food was really nice, 5 stars but the service was shocking 1 star.
The bar staff were also serving tables and struggling to cope on a Saturday evening. Had to queue at the bar to get someone to seat us.
Then took ages to take our order and a long time to bring the food.
When they brought the food we were asked if we wanted more drinks but by the time they brought those to the table we had long finished our dinner.
Such a shame as the place is nice and food great.
I. K.
Fair value and good service. Food was generally good but wasn't quite warm enough for me.
P. T.
I had a great experience at The Crossing.
I was in Burton on business and wanted to escape the covid restricted hotel.
The staff at The Crossing where really friendly and chatty, service was spot on, there is a great choice of ales and the food was much better than I was expecting for pub food!
When I am next in Burton with work I will definitely head back to The Crossing for the evening.
S. A.
A bit slow service at the bar but enjoyed the food and the ale but don't like the dog friendly ,should be separate rooms nothing worse that eating a meal with a view of a dog licking its bits
A. R.
It's a pub!
Staff were unsure of what beers were on tap or in bottles, had to swap nozzles on the beer pump as they only had one available and hadn't pulled the pedigree through properly so it was foamy.
Inexperienced I would say.
K. K.
I had a lovely meal last Saturday with my boyfriend, the service was outstanding and they could even accommodate for gluten free whitch is great because not many places do gluten free. We'll definetley be coming more often.
D. P.
Looked to be a very nice pub, however , somewhat spoilt by a bit of poor service by the young chap behind the bar who was playing on his phone with his back to the bar when trying to get a pint.
He also overcharged for food and I had to go and get the menu to point out his error when he didn't agree.
S. P.
The menu is different - interesting, and the food is very tasty and well presented. I like the ambience but it used to be even better when there was an open fire in the bar area. I know they had problems with the smoke billowing out into the room but I would like to see this resolved, even it means spending some money on sorting it out.
A. P.
Great cocktails, the place filled up while we were there but the service was still great. Its the first time I've eaten out since Covid restrictions ended and it was a lovely atmosphere.
A. L.
Had a really enjoyable family Sunday Lunch.
Great portions and presentation and our server Sophie couldn't do enough for us. Well Done to all.
Thank you
J. B.
Went here for staff Xmas meal...food was lovely, staff were lovely but they were very short staffed... making cocktails took a long time, not their fault x
J. G.
I hadn't been in this pub for years, the last time I was in it was a different name. However, my hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed lunch, both having a pulled pork sandwich with home made coleslaw. Sadly the coleslaw was layered into the brioche roll along with the pork and as onions don't agree with me, the staff kindly brought me another coleslaw free!
Everything was delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely visit again.
K. E.
Great outdoor area to socialise or eat. Fabulous inside too. Food reasonably priced and quality great.
b. d.
Lovely food and great staff. Sat in one of the shed booths, such a good idea. Chips are amazing and you get a lot. Well worth a visit guys
T.
Food is okay and the beer garden is lovely. The wait times left something to be desired. Visited twice and had to wait about 20mins for drinks both times. Waited over 30 minutes for the bill to come.
M. P.
Enjoyable lunch friendly staff go again 👍
G. H.
Great atmosphere but meal portion sizes are smaller than other places I've been to. The food was nice though. And service from staff was friendly and good. I recommend you try it.
R. V.
Food was good but unfortunately the fans had failed in the cellar and there was as no local beer. Shame as I was looking forward to a pint of Pedigree. 🍺
A. “.
Great place, lovely subtle music choice at lunch time, lunch menu is great value, very filling and tasty. Well pulled pint, friendly staff, good location and close to a nice walk on the trent. There are a couple of tables in a good position to get some sunshine. I recommend the stew and dumplings!
A. M.
After a few failed ideas at this location the new owners have nailed it, giving Burton a pub with something for everyone. Cocktails, quality gin, craft bottle and canned beers and draft ale and lager. Let dogs in, and kids in the garden. Good food as well. A really good venue.
M. S.
This is a great place with a wonderful atmosphere, the setting is wonderful and they have there own car park. The Neal was very nice to and the service was bang on. This place is well worth a visit, if you live in Burton or not it's worth the travel 👍
J.
A dog friendly place and my boy Rio enjoyed it immensely. We were looked after superbly by the girls behind the bar
A. H.
Fantastic pub. Great selection of drink and the staff were great too. Would recommend a pint of Madri.
D. D.
Holly and Lita were our servers for our group night out. We had a lovely meal and will definitely return x
S. T.
Booked a table on tuesday 11th August service and food was fine but when returned home realised that we had not been given eat to help out offer (3people) range up said come back Wednesday and they would refund. Returned Wednesday after 10mins of being ignored staff said they had to email manager didn't know how long l would have to wait so took my phone number to call me. Well now Thursday still no call back. I will not be returning again as very poor customer service.
S. L.
What can I say went to have a drink and meal what a surprise staff were brilliant very professional and polite, then the meal arrived the Jockeys Whips (Chips) were to die for I had the dirty chicken wrap unbelievably tasty went for jalapeños instead of the guacamole made the meal even better we will definitely be back thank you so much 😀
C. S.
Half the mains were unavailable.. not a good start. Service very slow and all over the place, asked if we wanted to pay before we'd even ordered!! Waited an hour for our meals to arrive, food was good but we'd lost the will to live by then and couldn't be bothered with dessert. Won't rush back.
K. M.
I really like the atmosphere in here. I went with a friend for a lunch time drink and it was so cosy.
C. R.
Absolutely lovely food.. Couldn't fault the staff.. Gorgeous
d. h.
Very nice food at the right price. Friendly staff too.
R. H.
Great food and choice of drinks
J. t.
This is a revamped town pub turned into a craft ale serving pub,It is nice to dine here and there are plenty of small tables too. It's not a rowdy pub and is ideal for a relaxing chat or spending time with your loved one without having to raise your voice over loud music.
M. B.
Lovely food, had the veggie jerk curry with coconut rice. Really tasty. Good range of real ales on offer, served by very helpful and friendly staff.
K. B.
Really nice atmosphere and good food. Staff are also lovely and welcoming. It has a nice chilled garden area too ill definitely be back soon
E. H.
I had a curry chicken burger with curried fries and it was delicious, my son had the Viking burger and he really enjoyed it 🙂 the staff were lovely
M. G.
Nice atmosphere, good selection of beers and cocktails, solid food menu . Great for night out with friends
P. D.
We have just eaten at the Crossing.
They were having technical problems with the ordering system
How ever the order was delayed. Would still highly recommend eating here.
C. T.
Lovely staff, great rustic food at reasonable prices, interesting decor and furnishings.
A very lovely place to have dinner with your significant other!
Thank you. Hope to be back again someday.
N. P.
Good range of ales. Out of the way of the main hub bub of town. Covid measures can order from drinks food to table from website and track n trace. Overall good place to chill with friends.
J. B.
Lovely food, great atmosphere and helpful staff. Would of given 5 stars but when we were given the prosecco it wasn't served to us and when I touched the bottle the cork it fired off across the room
S.
Fantastic staff, actually seem keen for you to enjoy your visit. If you are eating tables spaced out well. 3 stars as expensive for food and drinks compared to other pubs in the area while not really offering anything different.
C. R.
Lovely service and atmosphere. Food was beautiful but a little too greasy. Ladies toilets were quite messy. Have to say though I do like coming here.
S. K.
Pleasant setting for a town/shopping centre gastro pub. Good decor spoilt by numerous signs warning customers to register their cars for parking or risk heavy penalties, I guess to protect themselves against those who might plead ignorance after getting a ticket. No excuse, parking is free, just got to register.
Service is pleasant and friendly. The mezze starter was good but that's all on the positive side. On the negative side, no Worcester sauce behind the bar. The nachos had some cheese and jelapeno but little else by way of topping and the tortilla was deep fried oily and probably made out of wheat rather than corn flour. The Homitty pie filling was ok but the pastry was burnt in places and soggy in other. The chips were mostly good but some appeared to be refried.
Would I go again? Probably not because I was only passing and not likely to be in the area again.
M. F.
The lady serving Zia (seemed like she was on her own in the dining area) was fantastic, she ran round and was very friendly and helpful. A credit to your establishment!
R. L.
Used to love this place but service has not been as good latley. Staff knew we wanted to eat let us order and pay for drinks before telling us there was an hour wait for food. Been in since and wait times have also been long. Good food if you don't mind a wait.
S. M.
Best pub in Burton - nice decor and food is great. Quite pricey (although worth the money) but the cider selection could be a bit better.
P. G.
Nice cosy atmosphere plus staff friendly.. I ordered the lamb shank and was told 25 minute wait..i said ok I wait..The lamb was mouthwatering and mash with carrots tasty. Well worth the wait..recommended . Will visit again..👍..
L.
Lovely place for food & a few drinks. Been a few times now and not had anything other than a great experience. Great food, Drink choice is good & friendly staff.
S. A.
Good food staff very pleasant.
T. E.
had a quick drink there. nice pub, good service. only dinner is overpriced for the amount of food. The mains size is more like starter:/.
H. S.
Great night out, can sit, talk, listen to music and enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant area and bar. Car park allows 24hours, but only a few spaces. It's The place to go for a night out in Burton 🥂
J. S.
Food was amazing. Staff were really helpful. Cannot fault them
J. F.
Excellent pub and made to feel welcome by the staff. Brilliant food and drink selection. The beer garden is a great sun trap, which will be hugely popular during the summer months
R. B.
Food was nice but took AGES. It was Xmas eve, but the pub wasn't very busy. Problem was the lack of staff. 50 minute wait for food, on top of 25 min wait for our order to be taken.
G. I.
Always lovely food and always great service here! The ladies were lovely, especially Charlotte :) The home made chips are 100% worth a try
S. W.
Great meal, Holly was a lovely young lady who served our meal, will defiantly be coming here again.
B. R.
An older world public house, wooden floors and a nice outside area to sit. Drinks were a little on the high side though.
A. P.
Very nice
S. F.
Lovely place, friendly staff and a good selection of real ales. Food ain't bad either!
Will give it 5 * when there is a better selection of veggie options
D. R. (.
We went for a drink with son and daughter in law on a sunday it was just really relaxed 😌
