Staff are very polite it's very friendly. We were at a party and there was small incident with a none invited guest. No problem manageress sorted it instantly. All in all would recommend for family party.

Great pub with great staff and the locals are extremely friendly karaoke on a Sunday with Ben is a great afternoon/night. Quiz night on Wednesday night is a great midweek break. Jo Baker the landlady is doing a great job and now they have had a refurbishment the drink deals and cocktails make it a very reasonably priced night out

I’ve lived round the corner from The Old Sal all my life, I’ve seen landlords come and go but Jo and Mark are the best landlords I’ve seen in a long time. I have had the pleasure of working under their employment and I cannot praise the pub enough. The staff are so friendly and get to know you. The refurb is absolutely gorgeous, looks like a different and better pub. The beer prices aren’t that bad either. Team Old Sal 💗🍺

First visit and what a fantastic pub. Staff were very attentive and landlady was brilliant. Will definitely be going again. Can't wait for Friday night here apparently their DJ is one of the best around. Really recommended!

This pub is on the way up. They have now started doing food. Just had a steak and ale pie with mash and veg and was very impressed, cooked fresh on the premises. The menu is basic at the moment but I'am sure will get bigger with time. The drinks are not expensive and they have a fine choice of beer and larger. They do live music from time to time.
