We have visited here for lunch on a Saturday three times now. Great choices on the menu with a specials board available too. Each time the food has been, well cooked, beautifully presented and delicious. We shall definitely be visiting again in the future. The staff are lovely, polite helpful and professional. The setting is very peaceful and quiet. A rather unspoilt charming place.

5 stars plus extra on top. We dined today for a belated birthday and anniversary meal and everything is absolutely fantastic. from the owners,the waitresses to the outstanding food. You are made to feel extremely welcome, the food is out of this world,I personally recommend the lamb shank, absolutely packed full of flavour. We shall be back very soon. If you're after a welcoming, cosy place to eat,you won't go wrong booking a table at this little hidden gem in the Staffordshire Moorlands.

The staff were so sweet and friendly, the food was out of this world delicious. The Queens Pub After reading reviews about this pub my friends and I popped in for lunch. The pub is immaculately clean & I would have been confident sitting inside. As it was, we had glorious weather and sat out in the mature garden. The food and service was brilliant and the cost very reasonable. The owners were friendly and keen for feedback about our meal. Had the Salmon fish of the day main, was delicious, followed by lemon meringue. The lemon meringue didn't have enough meringue for my liking, but was good none the less. The sticky toffee pudding and raspberry cheesecake others had gave me serious pudding envy. Would highly recommend the fish of the day. Prices seemed good.

Firstly called in just for drinks and had a lovely welcome we looked at the menu and booked a couple of days later. I thought the menu was just a bit different from other pubs we ve visited recently and I can honestly say the food was amazing I had shredded duck starter which came out already constructed in individual serving pots . I had my main from the specials board which was pan fried trout and my dessert was just divine . I couldn’t fault the service of the staff and the chef is a credit to the owner The rest of my party all felt the same We will definitely be back

Fabulous little restaurant in the countryside. Definitely a MUST visit if you're in the area. Food was absolutely top notch and very reasonably priced. Whole experience was much better than some over hyped gastro-pubs and cheaper too. Will be visiting again if we're ever in that area.

This restaurant is a must for everyone. It has a really cosy atmosphere and the staff are extremely friendly. The food? Well I can only say that it is amazing.. My partner and I go as often as we can and I can say that every single mouthful of every single meal we've had has been a sheer delight... It's just a shame it has to end!!! Steak night on a Wednesday is our favourite.. I've never come across anywhere else that cooks them to perfection like The Queens and the price isn't too bad either. They even do us a pot of garlic butter each which isn't on the menu. We like to try new places but invariably come back to this restaurant! Please try it, honestly you're missing out if you don't!

Food was nice, but just nice. Not really nice. Waitress wasn't dressed appropriately for dining, most of her assets on show. Didn't smile either. Busy which is good, but unfortunately sat by a table of sixteen old dears who were all talking loudly about bingo and holidays etc. we couldn't hear each other or the Waitress properly, but nothing was done about it. I'm sure if it was a table of men they'd be asked to quieten down, but nothing was done. Spoilt my meal to honest, to constantly having to ask people to speak up or repeat what they've said. Not many vegetables to share between four either. Had to ask for extra veg. Sat by a window with the sun blazing in, so had to pull the blinds down, which made it dark. Flies galore, which isn't entirely there fault but it doesn't bode well when I'm trying to eat food.

Food was not great, a single overpowering flavor in both my starter (blue cheese sauce, incredibly thick and drenched over mushrooms and a slice of bread, could have done with a lot less sauce) and main (cheese sauce again drenched over the cod, couldn't avoid it), the rest was quite bland. Food came out very quickly, felt like they were just fitting us in the first sitting to get us out the door. Came to ~£20 for starter and main, not the best value. Saving grace was that my fellow diner enjoyed the prawn starter. Would not visit again.

We were the last in after lunch but didn't feel rushed to leave at all. We will be returning, like others have said, not the cheapest but definitely the tastiest we've had in a long while.

I know your going to say no one could be so good but it was even down to decor .The only thing I could say was that we went quality checked but plenty of staff to approach if there had been a problem . Cracking little pub, turned mostly over to dining tables. So, more of a restaurant than pub. However, it offers two or three real ales alongside the normal stuff. Food looks lovely and it books up quickly, which gives you an idea of how good it is. Great staff.
