K. M.Went in not knowing what to expect and to be honest not very busy, but what a lovely pub with excellent staff and so friendly. One of the owners told us how passionate he was with taking the place on with someone else, lovely and relaxing restaurant and the food was just perfect and served with hardly any waiting time. Nice bar, outside garden and people who have a passion to make this work. Please try and visit for some super service and food you will love..also good choice of drinks

Wow! What an incredible little find!
Wanted a lovely local night, and came across the perfect pub! The Tuesday steak night offer has blown my mind!
A perfect rump steak, and an indescribably perfect bone marrow sauce as a side!
The staff are friendly, great fun and we're really quick!
I cannot stress how great this pub would be for a great date night, solo meal or a family occasion!

M. W.Fantastic pub not been here for a very long time even though I only live 5 minutes away, but I will definitely be returning. Booked a table with a friend for a birthday meal, the front of house staff were very pleasant and polite, when I said that I don't drink and did they do mocktails I was told they could make me an alcohol free version but they served an Italian soda made with some lovely flavoured cordials. We both had this and it fantastic and refreshing. We both had the home made pie's, I had the vegetarian version and my friend the shin beef, both dishes presented beautifully and tasted as good as they looked. Then the puddings!!! My friend had the sticky toffee pudding and I had the white chocolate cheesecake, bothe were fantastic. I would highly recommend.

J. A.Moved to the area 7 months ago and yet this was the first time we tried the Red Lion in Boundary. Could not fault the place. Can't wait to go back!! Ambience, staff, decor, cleanliness and most importantly the food(!!!) gets 5 stars from me!! 2 adults 2 children and all 4 plates polished off. The taste and presentation was outstanding. The girls were lovely, thanks for a great experience!

S. C.I would definitely have given a five stars for this place if we were given gravy boats with are Sunday dinner. Some people like a lot of gravy and some don't, with a gravy boat people have the option. Apart from that the quality of the food was outstanding along with the service.

S. B.Fantastic food! We visited the pub for Sunday lunch, 4 adults & 1 toddler. Since re-opening the pub has great safety measures in place. The food and drink is now table service only, all tables are nicely spread out. I would not hesitate to visit this pub again.

P. G.Booked a table here as they do offer a nice varied menu and plenty of gluten free options which I am coeliac. Very friendly staff, very nice inside too, a nice bar area and a little snug room, and one bigger room for meals, although you can eat anywhere. Food was very nice, came out piping hot. Recommend, but be sure to book before hand and check out the menu online. Will definitely go again.

The service was efficient with excellent safety guidelines in place and we were taking our food away in a couple of minutes. A. W.Just got home from having a lovely meal here both my wife and I for her 50th birthday. Burger night on a Wednesday where you get a choice of about five/six different home made burgers and a beer for less than ten pounds. Both of us really enjoyed it. Beautiful food with lovely friendly staff all in a lovely atmosphere and clean public house. Will definitely be going back. The place was full for a Wednesday night which says it all for me. Well worth a visit if never been. P.S. there is also a full menu other than burgers plus a decent desert menu and again beautiful deserts.
J. W.Amazing meal with the family, unfortunately didn't want to risk having a starter as I knew I had to go for the cheesecake for dessert. Opted for the Ribeye steak with Blue cheese sauce, cooked perfectly and it's ben a long time since I've had one rested in garlic butter! (finally). Definitely a place to visit on your travels for a decent meal, next time will have to go for the pies!

W.I had been looking forward to eating here for a while as I've eaten the head chefs food before, the food was outstanding, very good quality, perfectly cooked and reasonabley priced, unfortunately it was the saving grace of the experience, the service staff were terrible, from what I understand a lot of the staff is new and this would make sense as they seemed very inexperienced, maybe with time they will get better, the food however as I have said was excellent.
