1st visit here today. Lovely homely pub and nicely decorated too. Staff are friendly and food was home cooked and really lovely too. Well priced and a nice place for a bite to eat.

Went to this pub on Sunday. Lovely old place full of charm and warm and cosy. Had the Sunday lunch,proper food cooked like granny used to cook. Everything cooked to perfection. Nice real ales. Extremely friendly staff and fast service. Can only give this extremely high praise and can highly recommend this to anyone that appreciates the good old days style of dining and excellent value for money. Fantastic.

We had som friends visiting from Manchester and we took them to this establishment. My wife had visited on one previous occasion and praised it, which is unusual. I booked a table and on arrival was greeted by an extremely pleasant young lady who settled us at our table before asking what if anything would we like to drink? As I was driving and am type 2 diabetic we all had water which she quickly placed on our table along with menu’s. We ordered our meals, my wife and I had the home made meat and potato pie which lived up to its reputation, excellent chips and vegetable’s and good and hot. Our companions had fish and chips and lasagna respectively and both praised their meals, the young lady duly appeared and sweets were ordered and eaten. It was my first visit but definitely will not be my last, nice pleasant surroundings, friendly people and good food, who could ask for more??? Excellent!!

A fantastic cosey free house pub with plenty of atmosphere. Great friendly staff and locals who make you really welcome. Lovely home cooked food and a great selection of ale's and spirits. There's a small games room with a play area and seating at the back. Two large TV screens offer programs and sports. There is a small car park at the side and the toilets are spotless. Overall a great pub to visit.

We moved to this area 12months ago and this pub was recommended and certainly lives up to the recommendation!! Very friendly and food excellent proper chips! Fillet steak one of the the best I've had and reasonable price, ambiance still nice and traditional which is what we like. And our friendly rottie is made very welcome. Hands up to the friendly team!!

One of my favourite pubs to visit. They allow dogs and the staff are very welcoming and friendly.

Went mid week for their lunch time special, they offer a small menu on the lunch time specials I had the pie which seemed to be homemade, pity it was microwaved to volcano erupting temperatures although the chips where very good and as was the dessert. The portions where not big but we all left satisfied with what we ate, overall the Staffordshire Knot gives good value we will definitely return

Brilliant pub, lovely and friendly, staff are great. Had the homemade pie, absolutely gorgeous, portions were spot on, lovely ales to keep you hydrated, all in all a wonderful pub.

Nice country feel to the place, went on Christmas eve afternoon so difficult to judge but quite full, not that easy to park, a few families having meals, lots of children running around and I think everyone took their dog inside. Great if you like dogs.
