Nice little pub in Hanley, the best around.

Amazing pub and even better staff! Such a welcoming feel from staff from the moment we stepped through the door, even when they were busy nothing was too much and there was always time for a little chat! Will 100% visit again if we ever find our selves back in the area!

A long standing favourite pub. Small unspoilt and now has a rear garden and seating outside on Piccadilly. Great beer, good venue pre theatre and will take orders for the interval too.

This pub is for those who enjoy a good pint without loud music blaring away. It is commonly referred to as a drinkers pub. It's only a small venue and can get crowded when people go to or leave the theatre which is opposite.

A great place to pop into if you are going the theatre or just in the area. Three to four decent real ales on tap at reasonable prices. Only down side is with it being a small place and in warmer weather the doors are left open at the rear and unfortunately all the smokers horrible smoke tends to come into the pub. Not good if you are a non-smoker like myself.

An old, traditional pub that is very well located in the centre of Hanley. It's on the same street as the theatre as well as some of the best bars and eating places in town. It has a great selection of real ales, gins, and other spirits. The staff and landlady are very friendly and welcoming towards both locals and strangers alike which always makes it a pleasure to visit. Also, if you're in the pub before going to the theatre across the road you can even order drinks for the interval. Highly recommended.

Great traditional boozer. Really well kept ale (I had a Heritage Victoria Pale which was in tip top condition), full of interesting pub memorabilia, great welcome from the landlady, good background music (not too loud)

I found it to be run stringently within required government guidelines, with a welcoming warm atmosphere that relaxes everyone. The staff couldn't be more accommodating. Hope the table service continues when we're back to normal.

Lovely little pub ! Smack opposite the theatre and you can even order your interval drinks here at half the price and they’ll be waiting for you on the bar ! Tracey is so totally friendly !
