The food here is amazing and fairly priced, I will definitely be going again. The menu will suit most people as there's lots of choice. There are also lots of deals during the week. I was there on a Sunday, so no deals available but I had a beautiful lamb shank, an extra side and a sweet for under £20!

Attended the Windmill following a family funeral. The attention to detail was excellent , the buffet with hot chips scampi and nuggets too was great. Even had a hot water boiler with tea and coffee to help ourselves to. The staff were friendly, respectful and very friendly where nothing was too much trouble. The whole pub had a lovely atmosphere.

Visited on Wednesday and tried the duck from the new menu absolutely delicious. The staff were really friendly welcoming and helpful. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Loved my afternoon/evening here & went back for lunch the following day. It is a Green King Pub that has just been refitted, hence The bathrooms are clean & the decor fresh They have a special on the traditional pub lunches which is really good value. The staff are polite and know how to be busy. They have live entertainment on Saturdays & big screens to enjoy sports. The craft ales are great as are the cocktails. I gave it five as the owners have turned a tired pub into a wonderful one.

Went for a meal with family had steak and ale pie with creamy mash potatoes with veg the pie was fabulous the mash I would say was out of a packet and wasn't really creamy the veg I had 3 sprouts I would say frozen then over cooked carrots were ok then a lot of broccoli which I hate but saying that I did really enjoy the pie and everyone else had a good meal we had a sharing platter for starters and that was amazing loads on there as I fed three of us then dessert all in all good night out and good food

What a lovely venue! Popped in very late on a Saturday for a meal on the off chance (after a recommendation from a local down the road) and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Lovely friendly atmosphere, great food at very reasonable prices and awesome service. Will certainly return again when we are up this way next!!

Visited for lunch as a party of 4 adults today Sat 5th June. Lovely warm welcome.Drink order promptly taken and served.Food was lovely. I had battered halloumi and chips and it was beautiful. Other members had all day breakfast, beef pie and mac n cheese and all were very happy.The Toilets were spotless and the decor bright and airy. The staff were very efficient and friendly.We had the salted caramel sundaes for dessert and they were delicious and plentiful.Thank you for a lovely visit, we will be back.

Haven't been for some time as it had become a bit run down. What a surprise! Decided to go for lunch. It's been really nicely refurbished, got a great menu selection including seniors, children's, vegan & vegetarian. 2 meals for £10.99! Great, couldn't fault it - & the meal was hot! Brilliant service. Showed up about 18:40 and ordered food Prompt delivery probbably had about 10 minutes to sip our drinks and chat before we were presented with our food, the staff were very polite and went above and beyond with offering their services. Clearly doing their job well as we got ID'd for our drinks which is always a nice occurence the food itself was to a good standard, presented nicely and wasn't cold or dry and the dessert afterwards was gorgeous. I'm not sure i can say much else but i shall definitely be re-visiting

Since having the renovation work done both inside and out this place is a beautiful pub for meals out with the family or drinking whilst watching the football. Friendly members of staff and fast service is what really sets these guys apart from other pubs in the area. There food is delightful and is priced very fairly and they have a vast selection of drinks so something for everyone.

Tried The Windmill Inn today in preparation for a lunch group I belong too. I had Mac and Cheese very tasty but the Beef and ale pie was very nice but could have been a bit hotter. Busy time seems to be around 1pm. Excellent menu and choice Senior menu good. Will visit again.

Typical of the two for a tenner places that abound these days. Food is ok but nothing special. Good selection of Joules beers so advantage there. Certainly go here again as food is well cooked and plenty of it but if looking for a food bonanza then look elsewhere.

I've just moved to the area and there always seems to be something going on here. That being said, service is slow. Very slow. I had to wait 20 minutes to get a drink and there were only 5 people in the queue before me. The staff on the bar seem to know all the locals however this means they stop and chat to everyone they serve. This makes things very slow.

Substantial building on the main road in the middle of Werrington. Large free car park. Pleasant outdoor seating area. Recently refurbished with old style white tiling behind the bar. Raised dining section in the right hand side. On the other side of the bar is an area decorated with wooden planking. Good darts room with two boards. Good selection of real ales.

Always a warm welcome, great for celiac food and beverages very thought full. Sian is pleasure and sackis is a machine taking orders, serving food and collecting plates like I don't know what! A quite night well spent.

This is a nice sort of traditional pub much frequented by the locals - but don't let that put you off as it did me on my first visit when I was confronted by what appeared to be the village idiot in policeman mode who demanded where we were from, why were we there, etc. In fairness it's a nice, clean and friendly place.
