Reviews of Yew Tree Inn (Cauldon)

Around 13 of us turned up unannounced on a rainy Sunday for food and drinks.
Atmosphere of this pub is amazing, really traditional pub (not many left) the staff are friendly and dogs are allowed which is great for the location.
We took it upon ourselves to sit in the beer tent set up for the mini festival just gone to which the landlord kindly allowed. He was also happy to serve us drinks from the German beer menu which wasn't actually running that day.
After we got a bit rowdy (13 half cut blokes left to it) I think it was really accommodating of the landlord to provide us with some traditional games to which we obliged (kept us well put of trouble)
Great visit

We stopped here on a pub crawl. Historic and very unique decor. Good beer. Very friendly staff and publican. Definately worth a visit if you are in the area.

Recently discovered this quirky place, certainly visiting again in the near future. Locals are friendly and its interesting to appreciate the "collection" at this lovely local pub.

Best pub by far! Good honest food- Steak and kidney pie, veggie sausages, peas, mash and gravy all delicious. Lots of themed events-1940s weekend, Yew Tree Music Festival, acoustic night, quiz nights. Definitely recommend 👍

Old historic pub. Typical small and dark. But interesting with its old pieces of furniture, bikes, radios. Friendly staff and friendly dog. Very causal. Had a quick drink and went. Definitely worth a visit.

Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant - Seven of us (2 from Australia, 2 from Reading, 1 from Chinor and 2 from Staffordshire) were staying locally and booked here. Even though the Chef had Covid-19, we had a great welcome, fantastic friendly service and great pub food. If you have never been here - GO - a great family run pub, with charm. A great evening that we will never forget. We will definitely be back.

Amazing olde worlde pub. Lots of character. Trinkets galore and strange folk music band quietly playing on one night I was there (not the type you hear on the radio) highly recommended 🍻

Great for basics pie and mash and mushy peas. Other food also. Very oldie world pub been in the same hands for many years. Interesting memorabilia inside the pub including an original penny farthing. Worth a visit
