Phoned last minute for Sunday carvery on Easter Sunday and staff were great and accommodating. Gravy was lovely, good portions of meat, proper roasties and overall a pleasant experience. Would definitely visit again if I'm in the area.

Went to Bournemouth last weekend, had some tidy meals, but, just had a medium rare rib eye in the Smiths Hafod TOP BANANA....FIRST CLASS MEAL.

Most delicious sunday I've ever had I even told my husband it's better than the one he makes . Will certainly be back again. You can imagine my husbands face but he enjoyed it to thanks to the chef and all the staff.

Best dinner out I have ever had! It was like sitting around my mothers/nan's dinner table. Steal price @£6-49, I can honestly say if you go here you WONT be disappointed. The gravy is lush!! I could drink it. We are going back every Sunday from now on because at this price and taste I don't see any point in staying home and having the stress on a Sunday cooking a dinner!! And they do Lamb at no extra cost!! A pint of coke was only £1.50 and its real coke not that cheap stuff!! I could also see on other tables that they do home-made chips, MMMM I might have some with my dinner Sunday!! HAPPY EATING guys!!

Called in today at approx 3.40pm first time for the last 10 years or so!! Made to feel very welcome and the food was fabulous even though their Sunday carvery finished at 4pm nothing was too much trouble. Friendly staff; good food and excellent value. Highly recommend.

There was a great atmosphere in the pub. Everyone was very friendly. They are in the process of doing it up, bit by bit, but its a slow process. If you want a pub that shows the games and races then this is the place for you. Its quite loud, so if you don't mind that its worth the visit

As far as pub grub goes, you won't get better in Swansea. I can't recommend the Chicken and Ribs enough. Staff are friendly, and if there's any problems with serving times, I'm always told in advance...... Cracking frosty pint as well.
