Attended as a group booking, on arrival we were shown to our table by a member of staff and ordered our drinks at the bar area. Shortly after a member of staff took our food order and after a little wait, food arrived for all members of the party and everyone enjoyed. The portion sizes were nice and good tasting food. We then ordered dessert for all members of the party and again, it promptly arrived after a short wait and was of generous portions. Pictured where is the Lotus Cheesecake, Childrens Mac, cheese & fries and a main menu New York Chicken Burger

Service 5 Food 4 The service was spot on attentive informative smiling faces very helpful the pub was bright spotlessly clean. Now the reason for 4 stats not five all the dishes we had and there were wonderfull bar the chips which were sad they let meals down other than that a very great time was had and I will be returning and would highly recommend The Eagle for day or night eating out .

I went there recently and really enjoyed the ambiance of the new and improved place. My partner had the burger said it was average at best, wishes he had a different dish. I had the hunter's chicken which I really enjoyed. We went with friend's two had vegetarian meals, all enjoyed. I would recommend this place, price's are reasonably atmosphere is lovely.

We went to the Eagle for my daughter's birthday last night, we had 3 chilli's and 2 steaks, and all the food was beautiful!! Presentation perfect!! I would highly recommend this pub, and the staff and the manager were very professional and very polite and friendly! Thank you for making our night so special, and most enjoyable!! I Will return every time!! X

First time for me to go there. Absolutely fantastic 👏. I had ribeye, it was cooked to perfection and very tasty. Has was the garlic sautéed potato's. My partner had the steak and ale pie and said it was great. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

This pub/restaurant is very popular on Sunday when we visited and booking is very much advised. The whole place was taken up with diners eating Sunday lunch! Not much room left for the casual drinker though. With lamb on the menu one can understand its popularity and menu is reasonably priced although I would not call it cheap. Good food, well presented though not posh. Friendly staff to help with the dining experience.

Went for Sunday lunch. Have been previously on Sunday and during the week in the evening. Lovely food very tasty and substantial portions. Reasonably priced. Staff are very welcoming and cheerful, and still very professional. Would recommend.

Called today with friends for Sunday lunch, haven't been here since new owners took over, food was delicious from starter through to dessert. Staff were excellent and very friendly, we'll definitely be back!!!

Nice food, only problem is. We came here to have a quiet time, they put us straight in the bar, where it was very busy and very loud. Would have been nice if they asked us, where would you like to sit, there was plenty of room in lounge and in the back room.
