Absolutely love this place. Been for an evening meal and go for regular Sunday carvery. Food is stunning, inside is so clean and tidy. Staff are lovely. Spacious outside seating area with a shelter. I'm amazed at how elegant the lady's loos are too 😂 so pretty and clean, baby changing facilities also there. By far one of my favourite places to eat.

We booked a table 10 on Wednesday night. Staff were lovely and very pleasant. We ordered off the 2 course menu, just a short wait for food, which was beautiful !! Good selection of drinks - all very reasonably priced. Dog friendly - for our next lunchtime visit Thank you for a lovely evening.

We visited on a Thursday and the restaurant was fairly busy but not so busy the service was affected. The staff were brilliant attentive, polite and friendly. Food was outstanding with my only criticism being the mushrooms tasted boiled and we're not up to the high quality of the rest of the food. All in all highly recommended by myself and the wife.

A decent pub serving decent food. But I thought there could have been better service. Had to go to the bar to order food and drinks and despite being very quiet, you collect drinks from the bar too. Perhaps that's normal in a pub. Prices are good too so for a quick bite, it's worth going.

The bar staff were friendly, welcoming and worked hard. The owner never made you feel welcoming. While passing our table a few times. Never even said good day. We had to wait three quarters of an hour for our starters. Instead of the owner coming out to tell us that there was a problem in the kitchen. He left it up to the staff to tell us. The place was not that busy. It is a lovely pub to visit. And has great potential. I would have given our meal 3 to 4 star.

After hearing about the recent change of hands, we decided to have a family meal out and we were not disappointed. We were glad to go earlier as by 7.30pm it started getting busy. The staff were very attentive and service was excellent. Lovely home cooked food, best pub grub we have had in a while. Highly recommended and we will be back 😍

Lacks atmosphere. The Menu's were on A4 unlaminated paper sheets and having been used multiple times were grubby. Food was standard pub fare - Ok but nothing to make it stand out as a pub dining venue. Service was mediocre.

Newly opened, food reasonably good and on par with when it was under the original owners which I believe it is back with now but sadly staff and service a shambles as others have already commented on and have to agree. Probably won't be on the short list for a revisit anytime soon until the reviews start to get better.

Staff friendly and welcoming, fitted us in at short notice for a Sunday roast. Best Sunday roast I've had in a long long time, also do take away service which is handy if you don't feel like cooking yourself. Excellent! Would highly recommend.

Sunday lunch was tasty but we had to wait around 40 mins before going up to the carvery as the queue was huge. The people behind us missed out on roast potatoes as they had run out. A messy carvery table with gravy all over a bar mat that had been used to mop up spillages. Staff were very friendly. 3 size options for the lunch, small £8.99, standard £9.99 & large £10.99. I'd say slightly over-priced at £10 for the standard one-course lunch. We enjoyed being out with the family but wont be going back here any time soon.

Went for a drink and only Carling available, all other lagers were out. Couldn't use the toilet as the disabled was locked and out of order. The diabetic member of the party had to go without because there were no sugar free soft drinks available, except much more expensive and wasteful cans. Staff were lovely, but unable to buy anything, we had to leave as soon as we arrived pretty much.

Having taken my parents there for years, i'm now taking my elderly aunt. We absolutely love the cooked dinners, but being a pensioner my aunt only eats a childs meal, which they were happy to accommodate. Great food, surroundings, and staff..

I've had a few meals here over the summer, and thoroughly enjoy the place! It has a warm, traditional feel & look to the place (not "commercialised" at all), the staff are friendly, polite and helpful and we are always made to feel welcome. The steaks are some of the best I've had anywhere, and I know a good steak, trust me! They have some quality ales on offer but, alas, I am always driving! BOOO :-( Give it try, you won't be sorry.

I went for lunch with my father and his girlfriend before Christmas last year. The service wasn't too bad, the staff were ok and the food was nice too. I had scampi and it came with salad and chips, as far as I know. The chips were nice, the scampi was alright and the salad was ok-ish. And for dessert I had Belgian waffles with ice cream and chocolate sauce. It was nice. Would go there again.

Have visited this pub for so long now. The food is home cooked and may take longer. The chips are very good. I recommend the Millers chicken. It's a breast of chicken wrapped in bacon with cheese and barbecue sauce.

Just moved to Clydach and was looking for a local, Found the millers arms and booked a table, we were told a party of 25 were just booked before us and we might have to wait a bit for food, Well it arrived much faster than a normal wait in a harvester and no problems getting served at the bar, This was on a saturday night too.
