t. s.Sunday lunch here last week. I had the lamb shank, my partner had the pork. It was simply faultless. Meat fell off the bone. Veggies lovely. Proper roast potatoes, not deep fried rubbish, Yorkie superb. Even the spring greens were nicely cooked and had a bit of bite. Extra gravy on demand. They must have a decent chef. Brilliant hosts Darren and Claire (I am biased they are friends), and all their young staff friendly and professional. This is simply a cracking pub. Final bill very reasonable for such a high standard of food and a few drinks. Try it, you won't regret it.

A.Absolutely such a great place in the blunsdon village area. The pub food is lovely and the people who run the pub are just Absolutely the best such lovely people. They have outside areas and even if it rains theres a cover area outside if you cant get inside seating. Definitely recommend this pub for pub lunch and for just a drink.

J. P.Had a lovely meal with friends on a Wednesday evening a couple of weeks ago. 2 of us had the salmon & 2 the fish & chips. Only reason I haven't given 5 stars was because we had to wait quite a while for our order to be taken. It was very busy though. Will definitely go back.
