I visited the longs last night and not been there since the 90's .What can I say other than wow ! The cocktails were amazing and they staff were so attentive to detail. We sat out the back and the setting was amazing it felt like we were on holiday. This is a must place to try , so much so I'm already going to go back next week with mum to try out the food 😀

I have been here twice for occasions, booked the floral conservatory for my 30th and the same again for my sisters hen do and had tipsy tea and cocktail master class, but have also come many times in the evenings. I would 100% recommended longs bar to everyone. The staff are fantastic and go above and beyond to make everything perfect for the customer. The cocktail master class was superb. It is not like your typical class where you make three basic cocktails have a sip and move on, there are games, lots of varieties of cocktail and it’s not cringe worthy at all. Tipsy tea I also could not fault. We were late arriving due to road works I phoned ahead and they delayed our start time so we got the full time slot. The cocktail choice was great and the staff were very attentive with refills and ensuring customers were happy. Food was delish as well great selection of cakes and sandwiches. Longs bar do the best selection of cocktails on their menus and the 2 for 1 deal is all day every day so you have lots to choose from. I will do sure book again for the next big celebration and I would always choose to drink here on a night out.

I don't understand the hype around this place. Indeed nice atmosphere decent music and outside sitting area. However, the 2-4-1 drinks are all pre-made slushies, there is no menu to show prices on the different gin or beer options and paying for a pint of Peroni £5.80 in Swindon is a bit excessive imo. I haven't tried food but it looks decent

The bouncers acted immediately when this creepy guy tried to hit on me and my friend - I was so impressed! Cocktails 2-4-1 all day every day is fab and loved the music

The most spectacular experience. Insane cocktails, amazing customer service. The staff are one of a kind for sure, I believe they must of hired from the waiting area of heavens gate for gorgeous beautiful and just selected the most Boujee of humans. I would recommend 100%, but be warned. You will be blinded by the managers most dazzling Magnum pose!

A great start to a night out, especially during happy hour. Could not recommend a dirty mermaid more! Even when I am driving the virgin mermaid is just as good! Staff are always friendly. Could use come improvements in the toilet facilities.

Extremely welcoming. They kindly put on a special Singapore Sling cocktail for us to remember our late work colleague from Singapore. Last year we had our Christmas party here too and it was very well organised with excellent food in the back bar and then we were moved to the Greenhouse area when the next party was due in. They seem to get things right here.

Friendly staff and great deals with good food for the price. We come here regularly because everyone is so nice and the 2-4-1 burgers on a Tuesday are a complete bargain! The free cookies/cakes with the hot drinks are also super tasty and the roast is a great size (and they were happy to serve extra gravy which is a major plus for me! :))

Today we came in for a Sunday roast, we were served by the amazing Shaun (Sean? Not sure on spelling!) we came in pretty late so there wasn’t much choice of meat but he made sure we all got an amazing dinner and he also made such an effort to look after us. Every time my family and I come in he is friendly and talkative which we love. I also work in the industry and these days you don’t normally get such an exceptional experience, but it gave the bar so much more character (all of the staff are amazing to be fair we really enjoy it in Longs). Shaun’s service is such a valuable asset to the bar and I hope we get to see him there again for many sundays to come!

Decent selection of drinks - fun place to start an evening out. Some drinks are pricey (e.g. Peroni) but others are reasonably priced (e.g. Rattler cider). Can get very busy. Toilets variable - usually clean but occasionally no soap or paper towels. Not tried the food.

A beautiful bar with a long cocktail menu including one called the dirty mermaid with not just candy but edible glitter!!!! A must for any cocktail lover. It gets busy on the two for one drink deal but is well woth the crowd. This atmospheric bar even has the lighting spot on

It’s okay. I just feel the atmosphere and experience isn’t the same as somewhere like Rudi’s or McKenzies - both similar bars, but get it right (In my opinion). Last time I visited Longs during an evening, it smelt unpleasant which could’ve been the toilets, or someone had been sick on the floor. I used to be a big fan of Longs, but feel it’s lost it’s identity a little.

Great Bar situated in Old Town Swindon! I visited Longs Bar for a Sunday roast with my wife and little one! Very well priced, excellent food! We had everything you would want with a roast, it was Cooked to perfection!! Roasties, pigs in blanket, stuffing, Yorkshire, Veg and beautiful meat! The chicken was amazing!! The staff were all class and couldn't of been more welcoming! If your in Swindon and want a Sunday Roast LONGS BAR IS THE ONE!!
