A. P.A friendly welcome for Sunday lunch and, even though we hadn't booked, we were able to eat outside. The food came quickly and tasted good - the roast potatoes were delicious! However, from a Sunday lunch point of view the vegetables were disappointing. They had clearly been microwaved or refreshed in some way and there was a very small selection for 2 people. The parsnips were very tough and chewy and the red cabbage was a little brown in colour though tasted ok.
Having said that- we enjoyed the lunch and we would go back.

H.Great food that was cooked from fresh and to perfection, staff were helpful, happy and enthusiastic, great feel to this pub and menu that has something to please just about anyone, they had a board above the fireplace with details of some pie specials so I think I’ll be back to try one or two of those. All round fantastic experience.
