D. D.The Plough Inn on the Hill is very very handy for J15 M4 offering good quality and good value food…. Worth the small diversion towards Marlborough off the motorway. We booked for lunch, plenty of menu options including daily SPECIALS BOARD. All happy with our main course choices, standard fair but freshly cooked, efficient staff. Decent parking and dog 🐶 friendly. Approach with care… so not to miss the entrance 😳.
P. W.We've been driving past this place for years whilst commuting to work and never had time to stop until today and we're really glad we did.
We were welcomed as we stepped through the door. The service was great and the staff were polite and efficient.
As for the food, well, ever wished your plate would just refill by magic? I did today! We had the grilled chicken salad, a side of chips and the ham eggs and chips.
Simple food cooked really well. Loved it.

The food was all delicious and well cooked (we had pig cheek starter (DELICIOUS!) fish and chips and the duck breast special) the staff were also so lovely and attentive! J. J.Me and my girlfriend stopped here on our way back from Bournemouth and just wanted drinks but after listening to another couple reading the menu we decided to have food while we were hear. Oh boy, what a good decision it was! The food was amazing! Could fault a single thing. We will be coming back an encouraging other people to come here as well. Highly recommended.

The staff are the best you can expect, and the food options are brilliant. Best restaurant I have visited. When we plan a trip from Wales to Sweden, we actually make a point of finding our way here. 10/10

N. M.Nice pub, with a more upmarket feel to it. The decor throughout is contemporary, with a tartan theme dominating. We had lunch here, and well cooked too. Draught beers are fairly limited, but bottled ales are also available. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We look forward to a revisit.

Food was quick and affordable, but quality and portion sizes were not compromised! Staff were super friendly, food was amazing, what more could you want!

H. H.Beautiful period pub on a hill overlooking the country side if sat out in the garden is on a A road. Dogs welcome in the garden. Lovely interior design. The food for me could have been better not up to my standard. Friendly staff .
