D. H.1st time visit to the bar and restaurant and we was very pleased.
Oysters were delicious and fresh, so was the the rest of the meal.
Service was great and Amie was very attentive and fun.

We received a welcome from Amy that instantly made us comfortable and relaxed in her company.
Our starters were Scallops cooked to perfection and pate and sourdough toasta good sized portion and the toSt was as light as a feather.
In between my starter and main course sofia a you trainee waitress introduced me to Oysters beautiful displayed on a bed of ice with chilled sauces Sofias knowledge was given with a soft friendliness that automatically reassured and encouraged me.
I had the seafood paella and my husband steak with peppercorn sauce.
Both were so delicious and again good sized portions
All the food was so well presented we couldn't wait to tuck in and I forgot to take pictures but I have tried to rearrange my half eaten paella just to give you an idead.
If your looking for a great place for a date night this tiny intimate resturant with great food and amazing service from Amy and Sofia this is the place to go
Or take it over with your large celebration party.
I would highly recommend the oyster bar at the Royal Oak swindon but also recommended booking first during to size

C. M.I had a lovely dinner at the royal oak yesterday with my friend.
The staff were very friendly and made us feel relaxed and welcome.
Food was very tasty, we ordered 6 Oysters which was very good and presented lovely.
We both ordered the Steak and Frites which was cooked amazing and tasted delicious 👍
Cocktails were also very good and lots of choice.
Fantastic evening and I will be going back 👍

Change in hands since we last came but still an amazing atmosphere and delicious food.
Oysters are still here and delicious as always. Some great garnishs, particularly the Asian one.
Food was phenomenal, with amazing flavours and combinations I hadn't had before. The presentation of it all and how it was brought out really brought it all together making it a lovely experience.
Staff are very friendly and really show their passion in their food which doesn't feel gimmicky nor overwhelming but adds to a great restaurant experience.
We will definitely be coming again. We want to try something else off the menu but I don't know, as I was won over by what we had!
