H. B.Food and atmosphere was great and staff are lovely but the service was not great. No one came to the stand to check if we had a reservation so had to go to the bar, with lots of staff just walking straight past us. No drinks menu given at the table and when asked what wine they had I was told ‘all of them’. One part of the meal came out 20 minutes before the rest.
p. c.Great decor & outside area but long queues for the bar. I Bought a pint & a glass of white wine, pint was great but the wine was warm & I had to wait a long time for it to be swapped for another which was also warm. All in all I spent 30 minutes waiting for drinks.
I’m hoping to be able to give five stars in the future.
Update…. Waiting times seem to have reduced but I think the actual bar itself could have perhaps been bigger to enable people to spread along it more but that said it’s a beautiful pub & well worth a visit.
O. F.Really Great food. However waitress staff need some training. Not quick to clear dirty plates and had to get up from table to ask for a dessert menu. Not automatically asked when clearing away the main.
A. M.New pub only been open a fee weeks,. We sat outside, loads of space. It's best to book if you want to eat inside. We ordered pizzas, they were really nice. Couldn't believe how quick we got our food considering how busy they were.

Now, this place is a stunning venue with a great vibe.
The landlord and lady are brilliant and need time to get staff and running electric not from a generator.
The food is really good, and I don't think it's over priced for the quality (they have their own wood fire pizza oven).
The outdoor area is beautiful and I really think this is one of the top spots in Swindon.
L. R.Fantastic pub and staff, all working very hard over the jubilee weekend. I think they have done a great job considering the amount of people that have visited. Keeping queues turning as fast as they can and the food was lovely. Well done to all the team.
